The substitute mail carrier on the Temple Terrace HWY (including Sheena Dr addresses) arrived before 11:00 am, could not figure out how to open the mailbox grids for the Terrace Trace Apartment Complex, therefore did not deliver the mail/parcels to the entire complex. Regardless to what the problem here was (evidently the carrier had a working key acc. to the regular carrier) the substitute carrier should have contacted her supervisor to have someone assist her on getting the boxes open. Instead, no mail to the complex was delivered until the following day (June 29, 2017) Meanwhile, the tracking record list showed "Out for delivery" on the 28th for a parcel I had coming. I went to the mailbox three times. On the third time I asked the apartment manager if she had seen the mail come. She said it had been here hours ago. I called the USPS Customer Service because the local PO will not answer their phone, causing no small inconveniences many times. At the end of compiling the report, I was told by the representative that I would be getting a telephone call from the TT post office about whether or not my parcel would be brought out to me (at this time I didnt know the substitute carrier had not delivered any of the mail at all at the apartment complex.) I had never received this phone call. They must have a putrid hatred for telephones! In mine own estimation about the Temple Terrace Post Office, outside of the usual, it has horrible customer service! They will try to get the customer to do the legwork that they should be doing when the error is in their court! The one star I left counts for five for Sharon, our regular mail carrier (not substitutes) Therefore the facility itself gets NO stars at all!

Completely worthless and rude… I live by this post office and I always drop my packages off here with no issues…until recently. Here’s how it went down: I went by to this post office and I had 6 packages (small to medium size) and as you can imagine, my hands were full. It just so happens that there’s a lady there getting all the packages out of the drop box and I asked, is it ok for me to leave these packages here with you. This idiot turned around and in a very unprofessional and rude manner said, “Can’t you see I’m busy? What do you want me to do?” I was shocked and insulted and I responded, “Well, I was just wondering if I can leave these packages right here?” She didn’t respond and after she got all the boxes out, she said, “I’ll come back and get your packages”. I responded, “No thanks! I will just go ahead and use the drop box”. Also, I asked her for her name and she said “Linda” in a way that I almost burst out laughing. I know all my boxes were weighted correct but today I got all 6 packages returned due to “not enough postage”. I know that this “Linda” purposely label them not enough postage. I intend to call the post master over this area to fill a formal verbal and written complain. We don’t need rude idiots to run our government agencies and facilities that is suppose to provide a service to us. If this was a personal package, I won’t be this angry. But these packages are business packages that I am trying to send to my customers. She not only provided a dis-service to me but also to my business and my customers. I hope she gets fired and never get a government job again!

How nice it must be to work here! You arent held accountable for your mistakes and you never have to answer the phone! I have lived in the area for 5 years and have had no gripes about USPS until we recently moved to a new apartment. When we moved, we filed an address change with USPS and were given keys to our new box. We waited 1 week for the locks to be changed but we were given the keys to the WRONG mailbox. I went back to the post office again and was told that this was MY fault and I needed to inform the owner of the mailbox. Obviously I did not, because I did not take the WRONG keys, they were given to me. After this awkward exchange i was given the keys to my new mailbox. She let me know that this will take 2 weeks to change due to Memorial Day and that they would HOLD my mail until then. I receive a USPS tracking update today saying my package was left inside the mailbox. A package that was extremely urgent and was supposed to be HELD at the post office. I spent the last 30 minutes trying to reach some via phone but I havent even had the luxury of leaving a message, it rings for 2 minutes then hangs up. What is going on in this office? Now I must wait 2 weeks for USPS to change my locks so I can FINALLY receive my mail and package!

i went directly here to send items to new jersey. i had bought one of their brown envelop and my item weighed 7 lbs and 2 oz total. when my mother received it the address part and bar code part was cut out and taped onto a new envelop with only one clothing item inside. 11 other items went missing. i asked to speak to the manager and she was giving me an attitude about the whole situation. she stated that it probably was lost broken or something. i told her it looked like my item was taken apart by one of your postal staffs since underneath the new packaging was a white priority mail envelop that only they would have and repackaged with 1/12 items where is the other 11. all she said to me was nothing i can do wait thirty days after i write a claim for you and someone would call you and walked around to others instead of finishing up with me first. youre a manager!!!!!!! i have an issue youre suppose to fix it not be unprofessional about it! even if you cant at least say sorry but you shouldnt give customers attitudes!!!!! DO NOT TRUST SENDING ANYTHING POSTAL!!! GO UPS OR FED EX! so sketchy!!!!!

Awful Post office. Manager of this office has no regard on behalf of her staff daily screw ups. Mail with checks for my customers got delivered to my neighbor several times, got a certified letter, I watched mail man deliver mail and drive off around 4pm get the card in mail box saying they missed me and attempted to deliver at 8am.REALLY! Reported this to manager all she said would you like them to deliver tomorrow oh and of course not ever a apology but acting extremely annoyed that I called her. I reported one incident in person she wrote it down on sticky tab and said she would say something. Emailed complaint with consumer services never got a response! Most likely it probably goes straight to her inbox. My suggestion people which I will do Report her and staff to district manager, this is an ongoing problem at this facility. Oh forgot to mention when the mailman does come he drives 40 miles down street with his radio turned at the highest volume!

Mostly the 2 different carriers that deliver our mail are friendly enough if you see them. However highly annoyed that they will notify that a delivery attempt was made when the doorbell never rings and the dogs never bark. They always bark when someone approaches the door. This past Saturday, a couple smaller packages made it to my mail box and in there was a hand written notice of a parcel attempted delivery, and I walked out to get the mail as they were coming around the culdesac. Assuming they didnt see me....yeah right. Guessing the handwritten notice was to force me to fill it out or go to the post office. I use the myUSPS app, I can usually request a redelivery online, but not this one since its a paper notice. Wonder if a piece of registered mail makes it to my door this week, its a total 50/50% chance.
