Ive been to multiple Pep Boys and they are generally my preferred place because of the discounts and courteous service. At all other locations I have been greeted when Ive walked through the door, all the guys out front have been polite and eager to help however they could. Not at this place. Ive been here twice now, I only came back because I thought maybe the first time was just a fluke- somebody had a bad day or something. Nope. These guys do not greet you when you come in, even when you go up to the counter they give you a blank stare. The entire time you are there they act as though you are inconveniencing them by coming in. One guy was downright rude this last time. And another smelled so strongly of cigarettes that I was nauseous. I have no problem with smokers, but at least make sure the employees who deal with customers dont smell so strongly of cigarettes. I wont be coming to this location again. If I continue going to Pep Boys Id rather drive a bit further and go to another one where they are more pleasant.

My son lives in Orlando for college and he called me because his car was acting up and the engine light came on. ( I am 1000 miles away) so not knowing what really to do I called pep boys and talked with Fred. I told him what was going on and asked him if they could do a diagnostic, he said yes and the price was very reasonable so I sent my son there. They did the diagnostic and told my son what was wrong with it and gave him a quote to fix it. The quote seemed pretty reasonable, luckily my son has done a little work on his car before so he is able to fix it himself and was able to save a little money. Since he is a college student he doesnt have much money so it really helped that this was something he could do on his own. He talked to Donald the mechanic and said he was really helpful! I want to thank both Fred and Donald for taking care of my boy! Its hard being so far away and not knowing who to trust! You definately will have our business going forward!! Thanks again!!

I just came back from getting my brakes changed and feel the need to rave about the staff because they deserve it! I wasnt sure what was wrong and they spent a half hour looking over the car to determine I needed new front brakes. They told me a percentage of the rear brakes and even though I thought it was a low number he made sure to clarify that even though the number was low I still have at least a year of life left in them. After quoting me a price he gave me time to consider Pep Boys or another place and never pressed for his store over another. Obviously I chose Pep Boys and within an hour I was back in my car and ready to go. Also best part, I had a coupon that took 15% off the total and instead of the 15% it ended up being about 25% ($50) for no reason whatsoever! Highly recommended and whenever I need work in the future they will be receiving my business. Thank you Pep Boys!!! Easily the best experience Ive ever had at an auto store.

Came for just a brake inspection.. left the lot and the problem not only worsened, but each brake makes a clank noise, not even a screech.. I knew I shouldnt have gone here.. I was looking at my car the whole time and they decided to pull me away for a second.. most likely did something so that I would return, they even gave me a reward card, have never done that before.. what a joke. I came knowing exactly what was wrong and they gave me a list of things I didnt need, and nope, didnt mention on paper what I really needed. Do your car a favor and go elsewhere than Pep Boys, even the one on S Semoran. Oh and thosr reviews below? Pure bs. They wouldnt even talk to me while theyre inspecting the car and waited AFTER, literally Im standing right there trying to make sense of whats going on. It was already fishy from that point on.

I went in for 2 service items, they checked the car over, determined nothing was wrong, and I left with NO charge ... WOW ... I have been to the Orlando-east-colonial Pep Boys twice, about a year apart and saw the same people there both times ... Today I went in for brake-squealing and a bumpy tire and they did NOT try to up-sell me ... in fact, they checked all 4 brakes then showed me that my brake pads were fine-ish and did not need to be replaced, and that my tire was just-a-smidgen-imperfectly-round and also did not need to be replaced, and that nothing they saw on my car NEEDED to be done at all now. I left without any charge whatsoever, not even a diagnostic fee for removing and remounting all four tires. Just because of this experience, Ill default to going back to this location from now on,

My mom drives a 2001 white Chevy malibu and one day it just stopped working and so she had it towed to her residence where it remained parked for a couple of months due to finacial matters. I decided to take her over to Pep Boys in Union Park to get diagnostics done on her car. We had it towed in and within a couple of hours we were called with the results and my mom was so happy when I related the news relating to the costs. These guys at the Union Park location are friendly and honest. Thanks to them my mom is no longer taking a bus to work. Id definitley recommend them and, if in the future my mom or myself have any problems with our vehicles well be visiting this location. Thanks Pep Boys Union Park staff :)

This particular store is very honest and trustworthy. Dwayne has ran the place for over 35 years and Darien has been very cordial and upfront. Their mechanics know what they are doing as well. I had brought my 2002 Chevy Venture into their shop on three previous occasions. The third time was when my vehicle had sprung a coolant leak near the thermostat. They could have told me it was an intake gasket issue but when they evaluated it, they assured me it was just a hose leak. They repaired it and added additional coolant at no cost. This made a loyal customer out of me and I will refer their shop to other family, friends and coworkers.

I know big name chains like Pepboys arent the best mechanics, but these guys at this particular Pepboys are pure thieves. Tried charging me $1400 for a new radiator, and when I said no Im not gonna do it, the service writer at the front desk asks "well can you atleast do the thermostat?"..... What the hell? I thought the radiator was the big issue and now your asking to do other repairs? These guys are straight up crooks, and not to mention very unprofessional. If you are a UCF/Valencia/Full Sail/Seminole state student, AVOID THIS MECHANIC SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!!!

This place is a joke. I have no idea how its ratings are so high. I came in for an oil change that ran $40 and left paying 146. I payed 106 bucks more because apparently my drain plug broke... but it was on pretty good before these guys touched it. I wouldnt trust these guys with lacing my shoes... it probably be undone in two steps. Absolute worst experience ever. Also this was my first oil change away from an authorized dealer. left a very better feeling towards this business. would not recommend.
