Im a local and would never go back. My experience started online by scheduling an appointment. I arrive 30 min prior to the appointment and was greeted by Alex. Long story short I was made to understand that you should never book online and only call this location for service appointments. I was informed that it was just a service online and that it doesnt in anyway reflect when your car may be seen for service. I was made to feel that it was my fault for even scheduling the service. I played back to the comments informing him on how that is a dissatisfaction to the customer service. he then pointed out to the parking lot. informing me to look at all those cars. I really couldnt believe I was hearing somebody complain because they had a lot of business. As I was providing my information I was then being informed on how I should go to a Super Center if I want "Red Carpet" service for an oil change. Then informed me on how its pretty much 30 min in and out. Nothing this guy said made me in any way want to stay nor want to ever come back. If he is looking for less work I can say Im one less Customer to ever come to this location. Other interesting comments from Alex. "Sometime you can come here first thing in the morning for an oil change and not get your car back until tomorrow." "Sometimes it can take 3 hours for an oil change" I was then ready to leave and he came back and said oh yours will take an hour and a half. Against my judgement I waited. Shockingly it only took 30 min, If it wasnt for all the other poor customer service skills It probably would have been a much better experience. So there is a chance I just got somebody having a poor day however Im concerned on the quality of the work. Ill need to check to verify my car has oil in it. I was missing a service sticker for when to return. Still just think its their way of having me not return. As this being my first Pep Boys experience I can say I wont be returning to this franchise anytime in the near or distant future. For those from out of town I feel that this place is a trap and you should seek out another location.

As a car enthusiast, I am *very* particular about who works on my vehicle. I make sure I perform ample research before dropping off my car, and I verify the quality of the work upon retrieval. This Pep Boys location had stellar reviews, and after visiting them, I can clearly see why. I dropped off a punctured tire from my Ford Focus ST at noon, and was helped by Manuel. Manuel was incredibly polite and quick. He promised a quick turnaround on my tire. Shortly thereafter, I received a call that it was complete. I got the opportunity to meet Vinny, the manager, and was very impressed with how well he managed his crew. All of his techs looked enthusiastic, and happy to be working for him. His techs swapped off my spare, and stored it properly in the trunk. I reviewed the plug at home and was very impressed - much better than I could have done, and one of the better jobs Ive seen. I *highly* recommend the Pep Boys center on McLeod Rd. You will not be disappointed with Vinny, Manuel, and their techs.

I was on my way home when my car stopped in the middle of the road. I saw the pep boys across the street so I thought they would help me since Im a potential customer. The 1st gentleman I spoke too said, " Sure , if you get more people." So I continued to go down to ask other mechanics. One mechanic laughed at me in my crisis and told me flat out no Id have better luck try to push it myself. I was furious at this point so I went inside to ask the gentlemen inside with the white tshirt if they could help me out. The nerve of this guy to tell me that I should call there towing service at $30-$40 dollars when my car was right there. I was so upset I left. I realized this place was money hungry and only one mechanic has good character thats definitely not a place Ill go to fix anything. I pushed my car by myself to the bank parking lot and in the end had it towed to another shop not pep boys.

My family and I left Disney late on 12/3. Our van decided to die while on I4. After State Farm towed our van to them my family went home and I remained in Orlando. The following day John gave me a call and diagnose my van he stated that the alternator has went bad and it killed the battery which would have explained the reason the van broke down I told them to go ahead and fix the van and to let me know once it was it completed this is Sunday by the way. I remained at the hotel until they gave me a call and said that the vehicle was ready I jokingly asked if they could come and pick me up from the hotel and they said absolutely. I want to thank them for the fast courteous service and they assured me everything would be ok I highly recommend using them not only for emergencies but for any other repairs you may have. Sincerely Steven Miner Yulee, Florida.

They were very nice and polite to me while trying to rip me off. I needed a battery for my 2009 Accord. Instead of just making the quick sale of a battery they wasted my time by telling me the vehicle needed battery and alternator. I brought the car to Autozone, had the battery changed and the alternator tested. The alternator tested fine and the battery was changed out. One month later the car is still running strong in the August Florida heat without any problems. Pepboys staff thought they could take advantage of me and with a smile and polite attitude while bringing the bill up from about $100 to over $800. Dont be fooled by their smile, they will be smiling all the way to the bank with your money if you let them.

Arrived with an appointment for an oil change. I asked what oil I needed for my car to have a 10k mile oil change. I was told probably a certain kind. Then they took my keys and told me to sit down. About 40 minutes later I was called up and told my total was $101. I asked what kind of oil they used and I was told mobile1. So I looked it up online and saw a price of a 74.99 or 59.99 with coupon. I was told the 74.99 was with coupon so I showed him the website. Then he started talking to me about how BMW oil changes are more. I asked him why I wasnt given a quote before hand. He didnt have an answer. They were very dishonest with pricing. I will never return to pep boys not will I recommend anyone else do so!

Went to get an oil change after booking an appointment online. I got there at 4 pm when the oil change was scheduled and they told me I had to wait two more hours before they would even get to my car. Really? Whats the point of having an online appointment system if you cant follow through? Anyways, I called the customer service line to complain since I had to be at work within 2 hours and they apologized for the inconvenience. I was told a manager from that location would reach out to me to make things right within 48 hours. Its been 2 weeks and I have yet to receive a call. I would avoid this place if you dont want your time wasted. Its not the employees fault. Its a lack of proper management.
