DO NOT GO HERE!!! I definitely agree with everyone elses comments about them just trying to get your money. I had $1000 worth of of work done there and thought that they had done a great job. When I picked my car up though, I had more issues with it than I had before. Firstly, they left the plastic piece of the front fender down in the front so it was dragging and making this terrible sound. No big deal I figured so I just popped it back in place. My car started idling harder than normal and also bucked really bad in reverse. I took it back there and explained it to them and they gave me a price quote and I told them I would bring it back the following day when I had more time. The next day I went back and they told me a different price (that was like $30 more than the day before). The guy at the desk gave me an attitude when I asked how the price could change that much overnight. He reluctantly moved the price back down and acted like he was doing me some favor. They said that there was nothing wrong with it. I took it to a dealership and immedicately they told me what the problems were (in the same area of the previous work I had done) and also said that two of my spark plug wires had been left unattached and that was part of the problem that I was having with the reverse. How could you not notice that two wires werent connected if you are saying that you checked them and they were fine? You just wanted me to pay for a tune-up that I didnt need. A tune-up is pointless if you dont connect the spark plug wires....something that in fact isnt even covered in the tune-up itself. Hold your breath on me coming back ever.

I have no idea what people are crabbing about. unfortunately, my car started making a sound 4 nights ago, and I figured I was crazy. my husband advised me to take it in, and I was extremely reluctant since I had no idea what was wrong and what it would cost me. I dropped it off, and an hour later the lead mechanic found me in Starbucks and needed to hear what I was hearing, so we drove it for 2 minutes. he diagnosed the problem, and he gave me 2 different quotes: great part vs. premium part. he explained the differences in quality and the very long term effects of the cheaper part very thoroughly, yet he understood my reasons for opting for the cheaper part (I dont intend to keep the car longer than 2 more years). I never once felt pressured to buy the more expensive part, and he made suggestions for future visits. while I hated being there for 3 hours, I had nowhere to be, and I had book with me. ALL the associates I came in contact with were so pleasant. the wonderful lady working the desk bought me a bottle of water, and about an hour later, another gentleman asked me if I wanted a soda or bottle water. NEVER have I experienced such compassion and pleasantness in the automotive industry. altogether my bill was $358 for the replacement of a wheel bearing, and while I hated to part with that money, I knew my car was in the hands of professionals. honestly, they won me over, and I cant wait to schedule my next oil change there. simply awesome.

Life is so much easier when you stay loyal to a good, friendly, professional business for any aspect of your life. For example, going to the same hairdresser all the time, same doctor, same dentist, etc. Well, Im happy to announce that I have found a favorite company that I will be using for my vehicles, tuffy in Metrowest. I am a strong advocate of good customer service, not exactly the "customer is always right" type, but good ole fashion service. Theyre customer service is enough to make me a loyal customer. All the employees, from the time I entered the store, to the time I spoke with a supervisor and/or mechanic, are friendly, helpful, accommodating, they answer any and all questions I have, and if they dont know the answer, they find somebody that does. I am a visual learner, and a "why" person, and when I inquire about the services they did to my vehicle, they show me exactly how and what, and why. I just had my van serviced there and it sounds and runs smoother than ever. With all of lifes worries, the ups and downs, its reassuring and comforting to know you have a reliable place to take your vehicles. I gladly recommend this tuffy.

Took my car in for an oil change and to service the differential. They seemed to have the best prices for this service. When I got my car back there was a hole in my drivers seat. It looks like someone sat down with a screwdriver in their pocket and poked that went all the way into my seat. When I told the manager Tony about it, he said he didnt see anyway that his staff could have done this damage. After insisting that he make it right for over 15 minutes while he attempted to avoid responsibility he finally said "Okay, Ill see what I can do and call you back today or tomorrow morning." Today, 3 days later he called, said hell give me $50 for the hole (which wont even cover the cost of a seat cover). I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and I am considering small claims court. Avoid this place at all costs if you want your vehicle back in the same condition you left it.

I want to give a big thank you to the young man who helped me yesterday. I had to drive the "family" 27 yr old van yesterday. Its been used by all 5 of our boys, looks terrible but runs great. I noticed the oil gauge showing low so I stopped by Tuffy"s to see if they could check it. I explained that I could not get the hood opened. This young man took the time to go out. got the hood up and checked the oil. He explained that it was probably a bad gauge, since the oil was fine and did not need any more. I had mentioned that our youngest son was military and currently deployed. When I asked what the charge was he said "No charge maam. just thank your son for his service!" What a wonderful moment!

I took my car for an oil change, they offered a tune-up, I did it, I paid around $460 with part and labor, when I left 2 cylinders are not working, came back, they said they didnt touch nothing, that was not their problem! This is CRAZY i was a former technician and I have NEVER in mi life had hear nothing like this, they just told me, take it to the dealer, they will fix it!, I dont even want to continue reviewing, JUS MAKE YOURSELF A FAVOR, DONT BRING YOU CAR HERE! Google this specific Tuffy location you will find all sort of bad reviews, I wish I have done that before!
