I come into this Panera frequently to get an iced coffee, and occasionally a pastry, before heading to the office. For about a week and a half, they have been out of iced coffee every single time (no exaggeration). If they are out, obviously someone is drinking it (especially if it is out by 8am) but none of the employees are trained to check. This morning, it was out again, and I informed the employees and then waited...for 20 minutes. One of the employees then informed me that they hadnt made any backup iced coffee (in Florida, in the middle of July, when they are always out...) and that my only choice would be to put a little extra ice in the newly made "iced" coffee that comes out of the machine hot. This is simply poor management trickling down to the poorly trained employees. If you cannot keep coffee made, why even bother? Two days ago, I got a you-pick-two with a steak and arugula sandwich, and the sandwich was about the size of a golf ball and terribly put together ($5.85 for the sandwich portion of the you-pick-two). This Panera is very conveniently located and is always busy and has a loyal following of retired persons from the area, BUT what is the point in patronizing a business if the service is so poor that you pay for a product, youre told that theyre out of that product, and leave having paid but never getting what you paid for? Train your staff or hire better managers. If you read the other more recent reviews of this Panera, you can see that this is not a new problem and I am not alone in my sentiments...

Dont get me wrong, some of the food is good, there are just a few complaints that I have. The first is the workers not paying attention to detail. I dont like when I have to tell the worker what I ordered. "oh you ordered that?" Well yah obviously, did you not hear or check? Constantly doing bag checks to make sure everything is there, taking over the role of manager. And speaking of manager, I saw the female manager in the back of the store on her phone texting. After I finally caught her attention, I told her about how there are never enough Spinach Bacon Souffles, the store is ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS stocked on Four Cheese. You know why? Because no one likes it. Spinach Bacon is constantly completely sold out, what does that tell you? Improve your role as a manager and get more in the oven or stock more of them instead of stuff people dont order. I even heard the old couple behind me complaining and they almost walked out because there were no spinach bacon. Heck, even Ive walked out in the past when they didnt have any, mind you this is 8:21 in the morning also. On top of that, the turkey cranberry flat bread is literally flat bread with barely any meat or cranberry on it. What a pathetic excuse for a sand which. This place is becoming a little pricey for the quality of food we are receiving. I might just start taking my business elsewhere, especially since there are plenty of cheaper alternatives all over vero beach.

Well, in Vero, this is a true hotspot - pun - for coffee and wifi. Liking the 2012 food offerings (not that they are necessarily different for the year, but some are). Never been let down by a soup and 1/2 sandwich with a light roasted coffee. Always a rich mix of folks, locals to visitors, businessmen to families. If the service is clicking along, a great place. If not, can be painful to watch (very improved in 2012). Coffee is always hot! A far better deal than Starbucks, and locally, this is much better place. I was turned off, highly, by an epic grouch behind the counter in 2011. Ive given them a chance because its not gone down, really, just a bad few experiences for me nailed by the grouch. Have visited about once per month in 2012. And the folks behind the counter are terrific, decent location and love to sit outdoors (where the wifi will even works).

This was the worst Panara Bread I have ever been to. Pretty sure there was a manager working the food line, and my Pick 2 was the skimpiest soup and sandwich I have ever paid for! Supposed to come with bread, but didnt. Soup was maybe 1/2 full and sandwich lacked and kind of presentation. Meat was just thrown on in a glob , bacon was cold and over cooked and was the bare minimum required. This place was super busy and there is no line just a mob of people , elbow to elbow trying to order. Normally I have at least 1 great service experience with a member of the team but not in this location. I would never go back to this location and certainly never plan another meeting here.

The last two weeks I have had the best experience with the young lady that took my breakfast order. I was greeted with a smile and as she saw that I had my hands full caring a baby in a carrier she immediately moved items on the counter to make room for me to place him. She kindly took my order and then proceeded to fill up my drink and walked me to my table. She then went the extra mile bringing me my order, salt & pepper and napkins. I have come before with the baby and never had anyone try to help. Way to go Allie for going the extra mile!!! I appreciated it very much because its hard when you are all alone carrying a baby. Thank you Allie for being so helpful!!!

My son loves the chicken noodle soup and French bread, which is the only reason I ever go to Panera. Today, I ordered the steak and white cheddar panini and half of it was cold. Thats not what you want on a "hot" sandwich. In the past Ive had salads in which the chicken still had ice on it. Overall, I cant stand this place, but since the soup is my sons favorite food, I have to endure it. Its a shame, too, because the options sound good, but the final product never is anymore.

Its the first time ever that I dumped my order in the trash. The tuna salad sandwich has so little tuna on it, you have to look closely to see it, and what there is, was next to the bread. It totally grossed me out just looking at the so called sandwich. If it was not so far to drive back, I would have. Come on Panera, I know you can do better.

Came in today 6/7 4pm for Lunch because I love their Chicken Noddle Soup but the staff is extremely unprofessional. cashier in Pink shirt was playing around with the other one and took mins to take our order.. would not come here again. And the Manager Tiffany just sat in the corner and said nothing to her unprofessional employees.

Love the food. Unfortunatly today was the second time they got my to go order wrong. I hate to check my order, but if they cant get it right Im going to have to from now on. Piece of advice Vero Beach Panera, slow down and pay attention to detail.

I go to the one near my home in California all the time. Broccoli cheese soup is my favorite. The smoothies are GREAT. I have visited Panera in Michigan and Florida and all have been clean, employees very pleasant and helpful and food delicious.
