After reading all the amazing reviews, I was very surprised by the extremely poor experience. I was excited on my one day off to go to a top notch salon. I got a confirmation phone call the day before and a text message the day of to remind me of my appointment. I drove 30 minutes to get called 7 minutes before my scheduled time to say that they were overbooked. Megan was very apologetic and kept saying sorry. She offered to have me go to a nearby salon but that would be $80 for a haircut (I was quoted $40 at Source). She then said that she could get me in three hours later. That was the only resolution as I am still using my GPS on my phone. They wanted me to waste another hour driving back to the salon with no offer of any type of compensation. The manager was very rude and not customer service oriented at all. He laughed at me and hung the phone up on me then claimed it was my bad connection that caused it. (I did not have an issue when I was speaking to the receptionist and was parked at this point) He finally said well are you going to take the other appointment in a abrasive and mocking tone. This is how you treat your first time clients? When picking a stylist you need to trust them and I clearly cannot trust someone who cannot fix or communicate a problem they caused in the first place. Poor representation of who is employed at your company.

Definitely not what I wanted. The appointment started off bad from the start. I called and explained to the receptionist what I needed to get done (full color on long black hair plus hair cut/blow dry) come to find out the receptionist only made a 30 min color appointment? Briana was my hair stylist. She said since she was fully booked could only do 1 thing and that I would have to come back another day which is not what I went there for. I would have expected another stylist or the owner to say okay would you be comfortable with another hair stylist who isn’t booked to cut your hair but no. So I told her to just do the color. After almost 3 hours my color was done and it was not what I wanted. On top of that when I called I was quoted a wrong price for the over all hair and ended up paying a lot more then expected only for a color that I did not want. I even brought a picture of what I wanted and the color is horrible! Needless to say I will NOT be returning to this salon since they didn’t get anything right.

Autumn was amazing! I was looking for a good stylist I could go to see regularly and Autumn is that stylist! She cut, colored, and blow dried my hair. The ombre she did on my hair is beautiful, it was a major change for me and she did such a great job. She was very informative and honest about how she expected it to come out and gave me a realistic idea of how my hair would turn out. Since I wanted an ombre but have dark brown it may take more than 1 process to get the blonde as light as I wanted it. The end result was still perfect and I absolutely loved it. Im also extremely picky about my blow dry and with just telling her how I like it her final product was way better than expected and even better than when I do my own hair! I will continue going to her for cuts, color and blow outs for special occasions. Shes super sweet, attentive to what you want and talented. I have recommended every one of my friends to her and would recommend anyone who needs a good stylist.

Last week was my first time getting my hair done at Source. I used to go to a high-end salon in Weston that I realized wasnt worth the money. Brad did such a great job on my cut that scheduled another appointment to get balayage done two days later. The second I walked in, I was offered a beverage and everyone was very friendly. I wanted to take 5 inches off my hair and Brad took the time to listen to what I wanted, look at pictures, and provide his input. Same goes for the balayage. This salon is way better than some fancy, high-end ones Ive been to and for a fraction of the price. Not saying that this place is necessarily cheap or not fancy, but its truly a high-quality salon without the pretentiousness that many salons have. Definitely coming back and would recommend!

Everything was amazing! At first glance, you see and think salon, but the overall treatment you get is like that of a spa. The second I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist greeted me by name and offered me water, coffee, or tea. I chose water, which I was pleasantly surprised to see it served in an actual glass instead of a paper cup. Even the most expensive and upscale places probably wont offer you that. Shortly after, Brad, who I highly recommend you see, attended to me. He listened to everything that I wanted done and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He even directed me to the website beforehand for a coupon. The final result turned out amazing, the color I wanted, the cut and styling ...just perfect! Would definitely go back!

Ive been going to Source Salon for over five years and have always been extremely pleased with the level of service and technical skill of their team. I live in Miami and felt the "hike" up to Ft. Lauderdale is worth it - I think that says a lot!! I have primarily used Majken for cuts and color. I do blonde highlights and she is always able to make them look natural and fresh. The other people I have been to in the salon have also been great. They invest a lot of training in their personnel (which Ive observed over the years) which always makes me comfortable if I have to use someone else if Majken is busy. Ive recommended many people to the salon and everyone always has similar feelings on the level of quality. I highly recommend the salon!

Ive been a client of Source Salon in Wilton Manors for 10 years now. They have a wonderful staff who are extremely personable and knowledgeable. I have actually become friends with several of them. The services I get are always done perfectly. I am not alone in my opinion and this is reflected in the growth of this salon. A second location has opened up in downtown Fort Lauderdale to help manage the growing customer base. Great crew and great service = growing business!! Congrats Source crew! Your efforts are paying off!

The talent at Source Salon is unmatchable. Im a hard person to please, and Ive never had a bad experience. Ronnie, Briana and Jay have all cut my hair in the past four years. It doesnt even matter who I go to anymore because I know I will leave happy. The stylists at Source Salon are up-to-date on the latest styles and trends and the salon is extremely warm and inviting. The Aveda products are a huge plus too. I promise you wont be disappointed!

Awesome people, amazing service. Im new to the neighborhood and have already gone in twice. both times i had different stylists, and both times i was very impressed with the cut and style, the good people and service. for my second appointment i think i rescheduled two or three times and each time they were so nice to me and made me feel relaxed and very accommodated. I definitely recommend them without reservation!
