Amazing customer Service! My daughter and I had a less than great experience initially with one employee at the West Mifflin location. Upset, we left and later received a survey, that I gladly took. Thinking nothing more of it, I was contacted about a week later by the regional manager herself and apologized to numerous times as well as sent out a gift card for the amount I spent. I went back a couple weeks later to have my daughters hair colored and immediately had the same unfortunate experience with this particular person. In the middle of the consult, I left and contacted the South Hills Village Mall location. I then had the pleasure of speaking with the general manager, "Art". WOW... what can I say! He was genuinely as upset about my experience as I was. His response, "Im so sorry this happened twice to you". "Phillip Pelusi prides itself on customer service". He said, "let us make it right, please give us another chance......COMPLIMENTARY! He got us right in the next day with Lauren. She is so AMAZING! Nice and very skilled! The manager Beth is very friendly too. If you are every looking to be treated amazing and pampered,go to this location you will not be disappointed!

It really just must depend who you go to. Ive been going to this location since Spring 2014 and they always do an amazing job. Im insanely picky about everything and have never had a problem. I always saw Cayla until she left and now see another person on her team named Jackie. Absolutely fantastic! They both ask tons of questions to make sure your hair turns out exactly how you want. Ive even had crazy colors like pink, purple and red highlights and they were always perfect. My boyfriend always goes to Nikki and shes also fantastic. Really amazing at mens cuts so just ask for Jackie or Nikki and I guarantee there will be no issues.

Horrible location, have been to others and theyre much better. Do not use this location. They told me I couldnt have the blonde I wanted unless I bleached my hair, and that I had to do a brown only (which I did not want). They tested my hair and said it was too damaged, I left in tears and went to another salon who tested my hair and said it wasnt damaged at all (which it shouldnt be because I dont dye it often, dont blow dry, and dont use heated things on my hair almost ever). They also insisted that I use box dye on my hair when Ive never used boxed dye on my hair. Just very rude staff. Sad about the experience.

I drove forty minutes from my house to my appointment only to wait an additional thirty minutes after my appointment to be seen. Ultimately I was denied service and asked if I want a different treatment I had not requested. I made it a point I did not want a hair cut and I was asked four times if I was getting my hair cut. Not only is the staff not punctual, they do not listen or care about customers.

Living near by, this location is both convenient and has enough staffing to generally get an appointment pretty early. Hair cuts that I have had here were good, the staff was nice, and the price is in-line with all other locations around. I used to go to Stephans in the same mall, but between their prices and lack of staff, its made it very difficult to even get seat time over there.

My mom and I didnt make an appointment, and they managed to get us in the same day. They did take an extra 15 minutes to get me back and started. Of course I was slightly annoyed, but three of the women were working on detangling a not on purpose dreadlocks out of a 7yr olds hair, so I didnt mind. They gave me the correct color, and even cut my angled bangs right. Great staff.
