I just wanted to respond to Terrys ignorant comment.. I know nothing about this company but I do know when you repair a computer, youre going to need software to complete the installation process.. lets start with WinRAR.. WinRAR is nothing but a compression and a decompression program, so you can save space on your computer by compressing your files. Its definitely better than any compression software that Windows provides you. Secondly, VLC media player is the best media player out there in my opinion. It blows Windows Media player out the water. Another added bonus The Tech Guy provided you. Thirdly TeamViewer is a remote desktop program that which allows someone to troubleshoot a computer from another computer without physically being there. He probably installed it when he was trying to reformat the computer or install drivers on the PC, I see no reason for the customer to have that program on the PC , which he probably forgot to uninstall. The customer could easily went to her control panel and remove that program without bitching about it. As far as the pickup goes, I dont know anything about their policies and I definitely wouldnt drive a computer without a flat rate charge. As far as the audio dying within 2 days, it could have been a faulty driver that was installed or a loose connection. Remember computer repair doctor did not make the software designed for your Hardware, so there could be issues with different type of drivers. Its sad that ignorant people that know nothing about computers will post negative feedback about a company when theyre ignorant about the things theyre complaining about..

DEFINITELY I AM GIVING THEM THE WORST REVIEW, WHAT KIND OF PLACE TAKES YOUR MONEY AND SEND YOU TO FIX IT YOUR SELF LOOKING INFO ON GOOGLE?? I dont even understand why this place has a rate of 4.8. I went there, Telling them lots of time that I wanted A Data recovery, they said ok, they would do that in 4 days. I had taken my own charger and I told them to keep the charger cable of my laptop, they said, it was not necessary. I called them 6 SIX days after (not even at the time I was told) they said they didnt have my laptop ready yet, because they didnt have a charger for my laptop, they were going to receive it in one day! Bla, Bla, Bla. Then, they made me wait 4 More days, when I went to pick my laptop up, I checked it and it WAS THE SAME, WITH THE SAME PROBLEM, missing the same files, I asked what happened, all they said was, they reset the computer and everything should be there, and if its still missing data, they can send it to North Carolina and it takes some weeks, because THEY DO NOT DO DATA RECOVERY! I told them since the beginning what I was there for. And they didnt tell me they were Not available to do so, and all this N. Carolina thing. At the end, I had to live still missing my data, but I still had to pay!!!!! And they told me to look on google, for info, about recovering data, to see if I could find something.... ah??? Thats why I Took it to this place, because I couldnt do it by myself!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! What kind of place takes your money to send you to look on Google???

total ripoff. Took my computer in after seeing them online and it was the worst decision ever made. They took 3 days to call me back to just tell me that it needed Windows reinstalled on a new hard drive because mine was bad. After quoting me what I thought was a high price I agreed because i needed my computer. Now another 7 days go by to get the computer back and when I started using it all the same problems were present like the freezing and locking up. Not wanting to deal with the same wait times I took my computer to another shop closer to me and they told me to wait while they did a quick diagnosis. Well it turns out that my ORIGINAL hard drive was still in the computer and they never changed it out at all. How do I know this? Because the hard drive installed still had all the original stickers on it from the factory and it was even still dusty from the few years I have had the computer. When i called computer repair doctor to address the problem they denied that they did this and refused to give me the documentation warranty information for the new hard drive. OF COURSE because they never installed one. Total ripoff. stay away from this place. They are like a shady mechanic, charging for parts that dont need to be changed and taking advantage of innocent people who do not know any better

Im surprised how many great reviews. I had a rarely used Dell desktop touchscreen for about 4 years, and it stopped turning on. Im not too handy so I brought it here. The guy seemed nice enough when I dropped it off. Took days to hear back but that was fine since it wasnt used regularly anyway. When I do hear back it turns out I need a new mother board or something, costing like $300. He tells me that all of my old files like pictures, etc. will be there - just not programs like Microsoft Word. I say okay, get it back several days later. Turns out, all of my pictures are gone. I ask about this and never get a response. My computer hasnt been right since, lots of weird things and I wished Id gotten a second opinion because I feel like we got taken.

Computer Repair Doctor is an excellent service provider who operates on principles of integrity and complete customer satisfaction. Their pricing is fair and reasonable and their work is impeccable. Additionally, their customer service is exceptional, and during the recent work I had done at their shop, their service representative Andrew went above and beyond to explain everything about our needed work, changing our laptop over from a HDD to a SSD, and performed the work in an exemplary manner. I highly recommend this business, and encourage you not to consider their local, better known competitor, with whom I have had several bad repair and business experiences.

I visited them for a water spill problem in my dell computer. They were really enthusiastic and helpful. They have free diagnostic so they dont charge money upfront unlike lot of other place. They give me a good prize for my problem. Andrew is really good at what he does. He will work with you as long as you are flexible. They have free wi-fi and free coffee. Finally if you not decide to work with them no biggie. He is gonna tell you what to do with it or he is gonna recycle it for free. So come check out this hidden gem in winter park. Best of luck Computer Repair Doctor of Winter park.

I purchased a Groupon to use, tried to call the number listed on the website, with no answer. I assumed they were busy so I decided to drive the 20 miles out there and see if I could squeeze in my repair. There was a note stating they didnt have staff to keep up with the business and had to close early, but would reopen at 10AM the following day. I go back the next day at 11AM, and once again the same note is posted. Next time please answer the call or give a person a call back, I wasted too much time driving back and forth.
