Geek squad is a complete and utterly waste of Best Buy resources. Its a waste of money adding their service. Bought over 3k worth of computers. The first one was crapped less than an hour after buying it, geek squad could not do anything. The other crashed in less than 3 months. Here is the shocker once again Geek Squad couldnt do anything however they could have me come up 4 times saying it was ready however they never did anything. Finally, I got a credit to get another computer. Haha none of them were same specs for the price so I had to fork out another 300+. Then wait ten day for it to come in. Was told bring the receipt and antivirus software at pick up to get it installed. They couldnt do that without keeping the computer for a couple more days. Pretty sure all the employees play the part as computer experts while behind the scenes it all is getting farmed out. Buyers beware! I will not spend my money there again.

Geeksquads entire purpose of being around is to try and sell new computers, not repair old ones. Anytime Ive had a problem the first thing they do is insult my computer by complaining about the age of the machine. Even though its only 3 years old. Then they quote some outrageous fee or amount of time to repair so youll give you trying to get it fixed. Then when you give up they take you over to look at the new machines where some salesman can talk you into some overpriced P.O.S. that will come with a warranty that costs almost half of what the computer does. Then when it breaks they do the same thing, warranty or not. If their CD thats given to them from the powers higher up in the company wont fix your machine they wont bother to do anything other than fall back on their training and try to talk you into buying a new computer. This is the worst place you could take something to be repaired.

I am really annoyed, they said my laptop would be a quick fix and I still I have not received it. They keep giving me very vague descriptions of whats going on the item tracker. Ive called them and they dont know much about my laptop it sort of sound like its MIA..well see.
