I wanted my hair done the weekend before my birthday and shopped around for a hair salon and as always, when the business has good reviews, it is a winner for me. I spoke to the owner and hair care professional Denise about an ombre ( Two Toned colored Hair) When asked for the price she responded $140.00. I asked her why was it so expensive and she mentioned that it was a style very few people can do. Although it was pricey I went for it, since I wanted a change and felt confident in her ability. When she was done I asked why she is not blowing out my hair it will be the only way I can actually see her work and her response was she closes her business at 7:00 PM and she has to get her kids ready for school and charged me an additional $15.00. The results were mortifying. My hair looked nothing like the pictures I showed her and I looked like a cheetah. She offered to fix it the following week so I had to wear my hair in a bun for two weeks. I went in and explained how the hairstyle should look and how I desired it and she quickly said she was only going to fix one part, but the entire hair was awful, it needed to be completely redone therefore I had no choice to have her just cover up the damaged hair with a dark color instead of her fixing a portion and create more damage to my hair and still not provide me with what I paid for. I went from wanting this so bad to hating it. The service was an absolute failure all around. The pictures below show what i showed her and what i received. I suggest telling customers upfront the price for the service. The price I was charged was different than the price i was given over the phone. Also this was my first time at this salon and i got charged for the deep conditioner, but the business card says "Get the deep conditioner free on your first appointment" . The mom was nice, but the stylist couldve been more friendly.

Ive been there a couple of times and let me tell you, the salon is pretty comfy with nice clean equipments. Both stylists are knowledgable friendly and corteus. I was satisfy with the job.. My hair looks healthy, silky, shiny and voluminous.. Carmen was the one who treated my hair and she did not disappoint. Do you want Dominican stylist, here you have it A+++

Dominican salon for what? I went couple of weeks ago, so excited to find a dominican salon close to my home, to get disappointed big time. Their customer service sucks, kids running all over people, and the dominican lady sent me to a black women to do my hair! For that I would have gone to an African American salon. hello! Never again!

DO NOT GO HERE! Denise will sell you a dream and tell you that she is the only one in the area that can do certain hairstyles, then charge you an arm and a leg for something that is clearly not what you wanted. STAY AWAY! my wife came home looking like a cheetah.
