Im confused how this place is still in operation. The turnover rate is so high. Every time I come I am handed to a new stylist because the old one is ran off by the owner. He took money out of my old stylist check, so then it happens again and now they are gone. I have had 3 stylist to tell me this is a continual habit with the owner. I have been coming to the salon for years and Im tried of been handed to the next new stylist to be practiced on. I would like a really good hairstylist with a growing hand and close to perfect customer service; then they are gone with in a few months, who does that with business? The owner is a pretender and hires new people when he figures that he is tired of the old stylist. Then he wont give the old stylist your phone number no matter how many times you request it. The new stylist do not know how to do hair. They need classes. Im so done and upset that I paid my money to be a gunny pig. I will not be returning. When a salon charges top dollar for styles, my hair needs to look as professional as possible.

I wont speak on the entire salon because only one person did my hair and her name was Cassandra, while she was very nice natural hair may not be her forte. I am natural and when I went in there I explained to her that I wanted my ends clipped and my hair washed and silk wrapped. Well she called it something else and said people call it all kinds of stuff. Bottom line is she did not blow dry my hair right I had to ask her to not go over strands of my hair multiple times with the flat irons and she blow dried my natural hair with a COMB in no particular order just all at once she says it was because I told her that I was tender headed which I did but I have no idea what that had to do with it, then said my hair is holding water and finally gets a Denmin brush. She would not comb all my hair to the ends that where damaged she said she already detangled it so she combed it till the comb would go where the hair needed to be untangled more and cut it

I went to this salon for the 1st time today. Long story longer, the stylist Gabriel was very personable & had a very upbeat personality! However, this was one of the worst salon experiences Ive ever encountered. First, there was no leave in conditioner or heat protectant placed on my hair prior to blow drying. He also didnt detangle my hair at ALL. He instead just brush my wet tangled hair roughly while blow drying. Smh On top of this horrible experience I was charged $60 for piss poor service! I came home & had to straighten & oil my hair. Oh & I forgot to mention he didnt ask what type of style I wanted or anything about my hair or hair care needs. He just ran a flatiron through my hair, literally! Falsely advertising "healthy hair" concept. I wouldnt recommend them nor would I ever return to this salon. P. S. Whats the purpose of wasting my time filling out a consultation sheet if theres no consulting taking place??

I was very pleased with the service I received at Upscale Salon. Bobby the owner is very accommodating to the clients. We were served beverages. Valerie the receptionist was very polite. Two months ago Candace did an amazing job on my hair (natural) . All day long I received compliments and was asked if I had a relaxer. Also my daughter (natural) got her hair by Toi . We both walked out looking fabulous. Today 9/26/ 2016 I got my hair done by a new stylist Tequila . Although polite. I wasnt please with her cutting skills. Very nice lady. Casandra did a complimentary cut which was precise and very happy with the service rendered. Also I must mention when Toi was out of town. Casandra did my daughters hair twice. A hard press and a trim. We were also pleased with the service.

I liked the fact they treated me with professionalism and kindness. The stylist Cassandra was very attentive, friendly, and respected the look I wanted. While getting my hair done, i noticed the staff was very polite and generous. Offered beverages and me feel welcomed.... I will definitely be back especially because theyre open on Sundays too. Appointment setting was easy and effecient. My style was exactly what I wanted and they used quality products on my hair. ..thanks for being so convenient when I had no one who accommodate my hectic schedule on short notice.

So I was searching for a natural hair salon, and this Salon pops up yet again. After my first and last visit, I posted my detailed review on Yelp. I see that the last review poster had a similar experience about a month ago. My review is for natural hair styling only, they seem to do weave and relaxer styles OK. But if you are going to advertise that your salon specializes in ALL types of hair.....please specialize in ALL types of hair. Until this salon finds a REAL natural hair stylist, to join the team, I recommend you take your kinky, coily hair elsewhere!

Excellent Salon!! Great staff! Toi pressed my natural hair. She was very gentle and knowledgeable about natural hair. My hair looked lovely, healthy and bouncy. She even gave great tips for me at home. Candice cut and curled my moms hair in a very sassy and sleek short cut! I must say she is amazing with those scissors! She was very professionaI . I advise every naturista and short hair gal to visit this salon. Also the receptionist and owner was very nice and accomodating! The owner even parked my car. Thumbs up!!

My hair was fully natural and full of life before I went here. I worked on transitioning my hair from perm to natural for 2 years. I went here one time and my hair is heat damaged from top to bottom and its a shame because it was so long and healthy. I cannot wear it natural anymore and it smells burnt. Going here was the worst mistake Ive ever made. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE NATURAL HAIR!!!!!!They say they can get it straight and they do but its going to stay straight forever and you wont see your curls anymore

I want to start off by saying I love this awesome upscale Salon all of the stylist are very nice and respectful this salon has all of my essential needs even the owner Bobby is nice he opens the door for me and throws away my trash, their wasnt no negative atmosphere its a must to get your done at this salon and the front desk lady Valerie is a very sweet person you can count on for your needs Thank you Bobby for your awesome services & location for Kennasaw. =)

Nina did my sew-in weave and Angel braided my daughters hair naturally without extensions. All I can say, we both walked in not knowing what to expect and were offered hair advice by our hair stylists. They both are very knowledgeable & professional. Within 3 hours, we were both transformed and are very happy with our hairstyles. The owner, Bobby, is a sweet loving gentleman. We will be back and I will refer friends & family members.
