I have been going to a VERY expensive Salon in Buckhead which shall remain nameless but every time I went there I would tell him what I wanted and he would just do what he apparently thought was best for me. . .namely the Jennifer Anniston look. That look is okay, but I have been asking for months to have darker haircolor with more layers in it. I decided to try Salon Lotus, which is closer to my home anyway. I am so glad I did! Laura sat and listened to what I wanted, helped me pick out colors from swatches and a couple hours later. . .viola! Just what I wanted (at 1/2 the price). I hated going to the Buckhead salon, paying over $300 and coming home to ask my husband if he noticed anything and he would ask if I got new shoes. Bleh. I didnt have to do that this time. . .he walked in and said "WOW"! I totally love my new color and cut. The next time my friends saw me, one was on the phone and said, "Marilee is here and her hair looks terrific!" If that isnt positive reinforcement, I dont know what is!

Just got over my severe haircut anxiety thank to Jill, she was fantastic! I put it to the test after seeing some of the positive reviews online. I was a walk in and got seen immediately First a free glass of wine, which helped calm my nerves after years of bad haircut experiences and wasting money at different salons. She gave me a tour of the great facilities and all the services. Everything from the staff to the products used was relaxing and put me at ease. She gave me a great consult beforehand then explained everything she was doing through the process of the cut. 10% off the first visit and free bang trims between cuts. Didnt do any color treatment so I cant speak on that but Id trust them after this experience. Will definitely be back for Jill. And Im reposting this from yelp cause it was super awesome and I pretty much can NEVER say that.

I saw Tonya, she did a good color job, but i will never ever go back there. First of all, they color your hair in a seperate room from the cutting chairs. I can either leave my purse out in an open room or take it back to the color area and literally lay it on the floor. There is no where for me to hang it. It obviously got color on it, luckily for them it was a purse that I didnt care too much about getting color on. THEN after some man finished washing my hair out, Tonya literally told me that was all time to pay, she did not even offer drying my hair? I was totally caught off guard because as long as I have been getting my hair colored, even if I do not get a cut, the stylist will always blow my hair dry so that I can make sure the color is right. I do not understand why she wouldnt at least dry my hair. It was weird, never going back.

My Co-worker Vanessa always raved about seeing Tonya so I decided to give her a try. I am so,so,so glad I did! I just wish I had gone sooner! I felt like she read my mind. I knew I wanted something new and trendy, but was unsure exactly what. She was full of suggestions. We went for a shorter, sort of messy cut and took my color a little darker. I could not be happier. I really enjoyed the salon, Everyone seemed so friendly. The salon itself is super cute. I had the best shampoo of my life by her apprentice K.C. I cant say enough about this salon. It is clear they really enjoy what they do, they all seem to be very proffesional and really on top of what is current and in style. If you are not already going there... you should!

I went there this week to get a Hair cut. The appointment system online is very convenient. You get a confirmation in 12-24 hours confirming the appt. I try several places for a hair cut but never stuck to any place because I just dont feel very happy coming out. This is the second time I am going to the same salon. Anitra was the stylist appointed to cut my hair. This lady is wonderful, she is talented and she know what she is talking about. She shampooed and cut my hair and styled it in a way I have always wanted it to be styled. I felt like she knew hair and she knows what works. I think I am going back, ask for Anitra you will not regret it.

I am so happy I discovered this salon! I came in 11/01 around 5, they were able to book my appointment pretty short notice, which I already really appreciated. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the door, the environment was friendly and inviting. I was given a tour of the salon before they began the work. Jill did an AWESOME job on my balayage highlights! It was the first time getting color in my hair since high school, and I was so pleased! She trimmed up my layers for free. And on top of all of that, I was given 15% of for it being my first time there. Very affordable and quality service! Best salon I have ever been to, hands down!!

Terrible cut. First time Keri cut well to get a good record, but a few times after that, she cut terribly. She didnt seem to have quality control. She couldnt even cut straight. I asked her to cut the same length. I would think that was the most easiest cut; but apparently not. The inner hair was longer than the outer length. The front length is shorter than the back. I told her that I wanted the same length. She rushed through the cut to get the cut over with. I guess she didnt have enough nicotine. and needed to go and inhale so desperately. Also, she smell very bad.

About six months ago I had a terrible dye experience at another salon and called Salon Lotus trying to get in immediately for a color correction appointment. I was set up with Katie who was fantastic. She talked me through what she would do and was realistic about what could be done with the mess of color on my head. I left looking so much better and since then she got my hair to what I had originally wanted. She cared about taking it slow and keeping my hair healthy. Shes easy to talk to, sweet, and does a great job. I moved and still make the trip to see her.

Lauren and the folks at Salon Lotus are the BEST! Ive been seeing Lauren for 5+ years and I just love everything about the way she works. She is diligent and thorough, ALWAYS! She not only styles and cuts my hair, but also has done an amazing job with my somewhat difficult and hard-to-manage eyebrows. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and Lauren is always super pleasant. In short...shes the JAM! I recently moved away and miss my salon SO much. I will definitely be making an appointment any time I visit the Atlanta area.

ABSOLUTELY A PHENOMENAL PLACE TO GO!! Great atmosphere and Great stylist! I am a stylist and salon owner in Mississippi and had an event to attend, so I treated myself to Salon Lotus after reading reviews online first! Kerrie did my hair and makeup and she was great! Lauren did my lashes and they were great as well!!! Matter of fact, they went out of their way to take care of me. If I lived in Atlanta, I would want to work there as a stylist!! I will come back when in town again!!! Thank you to the ENTIRE STAFF!! Tammy
