I am giving this place 2 stars and thats being generous because the actual quality of work is good. Risa and many of the technicians (excluding Pinky) are pleasant and very skilled. The problems arise once you’re at the counter. My issues almost always culminate with the lady that does the eyebrow threading. There is this matter-of-factly tone as if she’s somehow doing you (the paying customer) a favor. One time I booked an appointment and recorded it in my calendar and when I arrived there for my appointment I was told that I wasnt in the book. The lady said that she could see where my name had been penciled in, but was erased. HUH? I was asked if I had telephoned in and cancelled. I had not. Well no apology, no nothing. They offered to fit me in with the first available technician and I waited two hours to get only 1/2 of the service I requested. Lastly the loyalty program is a joke. There are so many terms and conditions to use the discount that it’s not worth the trouble. Whats sad is on average I spend $98 per visit for services ($1,176 annualized) and that doesn’t include gratuity. Polished objected to honoring my $20 discount that took me 3 years (I know right) to accrue because I failed to disclose that I was using my discount at the time I scheduled the services. I really would like to support this women-owned business but to be treated poorly when I’m attempting to treat myself is counterproductive. I will be taking my $$$ someplace where my patronage is valued.

so cute and so pretty and our nails look fabulous. + they do eyebrows = extra bonus. I had a girls day with my daughter and last minute we decided to get our nails done together- and they accommodated us right away and were super friendly + a great selection of nail polishes. The design of the beauty bar is so sweet and dreamy too. The only thing I would say to up their anti a little bit is if the tops that each of the technicians wear could match the decor more - that would be an extra bonus - they are this odd medical green, and the salon is a sweet 16 pink with high gloss white. either a white top with names in hot pink or a light pink top with names in a darker pink would look fab. & it would be super if even the front desk person was wearing this too.- just makes it feel put together, which is why we are going in- to feel more put together via a mani, pedi & eyebrow thread. (technicians reflecting what we the clients want to feel - put together, relaxed etc.) Also, though the interior design is super cute- I hope it is kept up ... which is so important. I would highly recommend this beauty bar. relaxing, sweet, great work. I just had to say a few words to explain what I wanted and vohlah... it was done. = perfect.

This place is right off of 1-285 & Atlanta Rd. in Smyrna in a new condo and town-home residential development. When you first walk in, you immediately notice how chic and girly it is. Its very classy with clean lines. They have steps leading to your "throne" with a big oversized pillow on it. The seat was also an oversized comfy cushion and I really felt like a queen! They dont use jet spas, but a large white tub sink. They have different pedis stylish-basic (but still comes with sea salts and a pineapple sugar scrub) and sugar treats- chocolate or strawberry sugar soak, scrub, whipped body frosting. I got the stylish and she really took her time and treated my feet to some much needed love and attention! They were busy so the owner herself came and started my pedi, which shows she actually cares. I absolutely loved this place, and what I like the most was how chic, clean and sterile it was with excellent staff, and its not pricey at all! You can get a boutique experience here without those boutique prices or unlived up to hype- this place is for real!

I was very impressed with my first experience at Polished. I made the reservations online, and was emailed a response within a few hours. I showed up on time for my appointment, and was greeted warmly and led to my chair with no wait. I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the shop; having had some issues in the past with shops that didnt property sterilize equipment, Polished was a breath of fresh air. I had a great pedicure (Island Goddess) and a basic manicure. Both were very well done, and I loved that the manicurist was very gentle with my fingernails as Ive only recently grown out my nails from a disastrous allergic reaction. This was the first salon Ive been to since the summer, and I will definitely go back again. Its a little pricier than some, but for the convenience, professional work and cleanliness its worth every penny!

The only fabulous in this spa is the decor and the nail techs. The owner has no personal skills at all. The customer service is riduculous.I booked a spa party for my mom and when we got there even being a few minutes late, they were still accepting customers. Even after my mom arrived a customer was stil in there and the owner Salam tried to charge me an 100 fee for the location fee which included closing the salon and only servicing the party, which did not happen. She left during the party and left all the dirty work for one of the other girls in the shop. None of the nail tech had anything nice to say about her. Do not waste your money, where it is not appreciated.

Terrible customer service!!!!! I had been to this location a few years ago, and I had promised myself to never go back due to the horrible customer service I had received. However, last weekend, I was in a time crunch and needed quick service so I went again because it is very conveniently located for me. I also figured that maybe they had improved their customer service. Not in the least!!! Everyone, especially the lady who does the eyebrow threading, treats you like THEY are doing YOU a favor when you bring your business to this place. Never will I come back!! With so many nail salons around, I would rather drive to another one than come to this place again.

I love, love, love Polished Beauty Lounge. Polished is the cleanest nail salon i have ever been too. They DO NOT use those hazardous whirlpool jets that other nail salons use, so you dont have to worry about contracting some flesh eating fungus. I like that they do not rush you through your service. They do the manicures and pedicures separately, so you really have time to relax and enjoy being pampered. They also have a great selection of OPI nail colors. I would suggest you book an appointment because it gets very busy. If you need a great mani/pedi and you dont mind spending a little extra go to Polished Beauty Lounge. Its worth it!

I booked a private party here and was amazed at how rude the owner Salaam was on the phone. I actually pulled the phone from my face at one point and stared at it like "is she serious??". I really wanted a spa party and the location pics looked adorable so I booked anyway...that is until I told my friends where the party location was and at least 3 all had very similar stories to tell about how rude the owner was and that they would never give her any business. I called to cancel my party, but of course she never called back to confirm or ask why. I dont know how this woman stays in business with such bad customer service.
