I recently went here because my check engine light went on. I was in somewhat of a hurry and wanted to get this taken care of right away. On Monday, Atlanta Car Care was one of the few places that could fit me in and had fairly good reviews, so I went with them. Overall, this was an okay experience. Frank and John were nice. But I ended up having to spend way more than I expected, and it also took much longer than expected. I didnt get my car back for two days, and the frustrating thing is that I was told my car would be done at a certain time on three occasions, and this kept being pushed back. So they should really try to give extra time in estimates, or else, it wastes peoples time. Lastly, I wanted to get my car after it was done, but because the shop closes at 5 PM, I would have to pay in advance and pick up my car after they close. So, I asked Frank to keep my my car unlocked after service, so I could get in, and made this fairly clear at the end of the phone call. When I got to the shop to get my car, my car was locked, and the keys were in the car (like I asked), but now, I couldnt get into my car. John was at least nice and came down to help me get into my car and got a locksmith, but this whole thing cost me over an hour of my time, when I had already paid. I give them an extra star because John was helpful and nice, but dealing with Frank was fairly upsetting, and he was the one I was mostly dealing with about estimates.

This was my first time visiting this location they have a special for 69.00 for synthetic oil change however the attendant told me he would give a discount. I was pleased they continued to service my vehicle. Once complete the attendant comes back and says oh well your vehicle oil change is orginally 101.00 so ill gave a discount off that price....Ive had my VW jetta for 2 years and never have I paid 101.00 for a oil change not even the dealership charges me that much. I ended up spending round up 80.00 for the service. I feel like they ripped me off and just told me anything to get my money. Further more if you tell a customer you will give them a discount off of 69.00 synthetic oil change then it should have been that. If there was a change in the price the customer should have been informed asap not when the vehicle is done. What if the customer did not have enough funds Ect...I will not visit this location again.

Took my car in for a simple oil change. They worked fast, I was in a hurry. I paid the premium and expected that to be the end of it. By the time I got home, my car was smoking. They never tightened the oil filter and almost all of the oil leaked out. What a bunch of amateurs. I could unscrew to oil filter with my hand.....I ended up paying another $27 for oil to replace. I called John and he was very sorry and very helpful. He refunded my money, and made sure I didnt put too much oil in the crank case....which I did. Mistakes happen. Its how they take care of the problem that makes or breaks my trust.

Thank you Frank for hanging up on me because we had a disagreement on rotors that needs to be changed. I explain to Frank that I just purchased my car less than a year ago and rotors and brakes were completed and brakes are starting to squeak and I need to change them before it gets worst. He quoted me $350 for brakes and dealership is offering brakes service for $199...insane! But before I could finish my sentence Frank hangs up the phone. Thanks Frank, glad to know I dont need to spend my money at your business.

Dont trust these guys!!! Went in due to car overheating and they claim that it was the radiator fan switch. Charged $200 time replace it only for my car to continue doing the same thing after 2 days. Come to find out, switch was never replaced and they only filled car up with coolant. Called them to ask questions and they then claim it could be a head gasket. Now my vehicle wont even start. Pure amateurs and not trustworthy. What a ripoff of $200, never again.

I was duped by a used car broker and bought a car that was unfit and definitely not street, road, or highway legal. I didnt think that I would ever be able to find a trustworthy mechanic, and trust me Id been searching, but I found these guys and they are EXCELLENT! They are TRUSTYWORTHY! They are KNOWLEDGEABLE! They are REASONABLY PRICED! Atlanta Car Care is arguably one of the BEST mechanics left in the Georgia!

I went there this morning to get my oil changed. The people working there were courteous, professional, and got the job done for a good price. Easiest oil change Ive ever had - I asked for the basic oil change and my request was respected immediately. No one tried to up sell me any services which made the entire process simple and stress free. Ill definitely be returning.

I work nearby and have been using Atlanta Car Care for over 3 years. They have always worked quickly and been courteous. They have guaranteed their work and any time I have had anything major go wrong with my car, they were able to help without charging me a fortune. I recommend this place to ALL of my coworkers!

John & his staff were thorough, and even though their bays were very full, worked me in. Especially as a female, youre always worried you are going to be taken advantage of, I felt completely confident they were giving it to me straight. They will have a long time customer in me!

Came here last minute because my typical mechanic was closed. I came in fearing the worst for my car, but John and his team were able to diagnose and fix the problem within an hour at half the cost I had been anticipating. Great place and would definitely recommend!

Great service, knowledgable, and trustworthy. I never worry about my car when it is being taken care of at Atlanta Auto Care. Easy to get in with them and fast service. As someone who knows very little about cars, it is great to have a place you can count on.

The customer service was great and they did a good job BUT this place is a huge ripoff. Paid $300 to get a trunk latch replaced. They also quoted me ~$650 to get ONE oxygen sensor replaced. Needless to say, Im definitely not going back.

Updated review: Well Ill say I had some issues, but the people here will try to make it right with you, I know that. Been coming here for oil changes for years, and never had a problem with that. Prices and customer service are good.

Worse company in Atlanta. Ladies do not take your care here unless you want to be over charged and told how much you dont know about mechanics. My vehicle no longer operates and instead of fixing the problem they want more money....

Ive been taking my car to Atlanta Car Care for over a year now. They are very honest people. I always take my car to get an oil change on Saturdays, and I usually dont have to wait too long. I highly recommend their services.
