Atlanta Intowns agent, was the sellers agent on a property which we purchased. Certain repairs were to be made, yet, the agent did not follow up to see that they had been done. When our agent tried to contact him to advise him the repairs were not made, he continuously ignored the question, until finally he advised that his contractor used a sub contractor, and would come out and do the work himself. Again, the sellers agent did not follow up, and we were nearing closing, and still, the repairs were not made. On the day before closing, the agent emailed the our agent that the repairs would still be made and would be paid for by the seller. After closing, and as agreed (which seems to support that an agreement was made), the unlicensed and unqualified contractor scheduled several times to make the repairs, but each time, he showed up late, as much as six hours late, saying he had taken another job, and would come upon completion, etc. He never completed one repair, and further damaged the home, and took pieces of shoe molding that he never returned with, yelling at the homeowner that he had not even been paid by the realtor. When we, the homeowners, again asked the sellers agent to send a different contractor, he offered us a check (again acknowledging an agreement and liability), but it was not enough to cover the repairs. When we refused the check, and again asked they the agent come to see that the damage was not repaired, Atlanta Intown then took the stand that the repairs were made, yet, to this day, they are not done. Atlanta Intown will not respond, will not inspect, and will not follow through on repairs that it promised would be made. It seems that Atlanta Intown used promises simply as a tactic to get us, a military family, to close on a house so that it could make its commission, and move on to the next unsuspecting buyer. They made these gurantees in writing, yet will not live up to them.

Excellent experience as a first-tIme homebuyer. Phil Daniels was my realtor and was incredible. Highly recommended. No pressure, very knowledgeable, but once we decided to pursue a property, he was all over it--working round the clock to finalize everything. Once I moved in, my HOA President made the comment to me that Phil was the most thorough realtor she had ever dealt with, having asked for HOA meeting minutes (and uncovering some important upcoming repairs to my townhome that addressed an inspection issue) and getting detailed information on the community. Very impressive from start to close.
