I have been getting my hair done by Genie for over a year. I wanted to take a moment to say that I am beyond satisfied! I love the atmosphere and not once have I had a problem with my hair. Prior to coming here, I had severly damaged hair because of stress and "GHETTO WEAVES." I could not stand my hair being braided-up completely, nor could I take the numerous hours under the dryer waiting for my full head of braids to dry not my weave. Now, I can continue to get my relaxer and touch-ups when I need them and I dont have to stick a pencil in my head just to scratch my scalp. I can use my fingers now! My hair doesnt shead and I can put it in a high ponytail without a problem. I can honestly say this is the best thing for my hair. I found the website and immediately became intrigued with wanting to know if she could help me get my hair to grow back to my original mid-back length. I called and was pleased with the excitement of her daughters voice as she explained what they could for for my hair. Im not afraid to take chances so after my consultation I scheduled my first appointment. Im so glad I did. I was not pressured at all. It has been a year later, Im still coming for my regular appointment and I my hair is now growing back and it is very thick and healthy! If you are tired of your hair taking forever to dry, hair breaking off, sheading, and not growing, then I would highly suggest you calling for a consultation. This will be one of the best calls you could ever make and you will not be disappointed. I absolutely love my hair and I love Genie and her daughter as well. Also, if you want to call and you want to call me to confirm, then ask them for my number and I tell you myself! GENIE SAVED MY WEDDING AND MY EGO!! I started coming here in April of 2010 a month before my wedding in May since I had recently got a HORRIBLE haircut!! I was in tears everyday before finding my guardian angel! When I came into La Hair I instantly feel comfortable and welcome. When I was done and had my new hair sewed in, I LOVED IT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!!!! Now it is December and I have gotten it taken out since the whole goal was to have my hair grow out and also have some extra thickness. I was very upset to have my hair taken out and when Genie was removing the hair I reached back and said "Is this MY hair?" she said "YES" I was so shocked that my hair was so healthy and long and beautiful and I had a smile from ear to ear. I am as confident now and I was with the extensions in my hair. I feel that Genie has saved me from months and months of embarrassment and I still have my hair extensions and will come back to get the clip-ins so that I can just have a little extra thickness when I need too.... If you have any doubt about this place---- DONT!! You will not be disappointed! GENIE REALLY IS THE BEST..

Ive been to Genie at LA Hair 3 times now, once for my initial put in of my extensions, once for a tightening and then again for a take down and put back in of my extensions. Not only is Genie professional but she does an outstanding job! Since getting my extensions my actual hair health has greatly improved, even my regular stylist mentioned it. She suggested me to use The Conditioner by Paul Mitchell on my new hair as well as my own hair and my hair went from somewhat frizzy and overworked due to the mass amount of heat I put on it to shiny and healthy. I could never leave the house without flat ironing my hair or it looked terrible, now with this product + the extensions that are identical to the texture of my hair I can leave the house with a wet head even and my hair turns out wonderfully. I definitely recommend her services, especially after having extensions in the past!

I am so pleased with the work of, Genie! I have had a sew-in before and I can tell you that her technique is much different from my past experience such as; I hardly even know its sewed in my hair, it does not feel tight, its doesnt itch, and it does not bother me while I sleep. Its very comfortable! I cant even explain in words how much better I feel about myself. My hair is beautiful! I have received several compliments from family and friends. When I went to see, Genie, I had short, over processed, bleached hair and I now have long, beautiful hair! With her help and guidance I will be able to restore my real hair back to health while looking stunning with my gorgeous new long locks! THANK YOU, GENIE!!!

My hair was thinning dramatically and I needed a solution and I found it at LA Hair Extensions. When I first went in for my free consultation, she was very compassionate to my problem and took the time to go over my options. Her salon is private and by appointment only which is also a plus. Genie is very knowledgeable and professional. The hair quality is excellent. Ive had mine now for a year and it still looks great. The sew-in technique she uses is unlike other sew-ins Ive had in the past. My scalp is able to breath and it allows me to easily take care of my own hair underneath. I am extremely satisfied with the service Ive received!

My hair was thinning and not growing the way it used to. My younger daughter commented to me that my hair was different than it used to be, I had done fusion a few years prior and it had about ruined my hair. So, I went in search of someone that really understood hair and I found Genie. She was professional, to the point, on time and I knew exactly what I would be getting. I have been going to LA HAIR for 3 years and I am so very happy with the results. Not only does your hair look beautiful but Genie also gives you a background of whats going on with your hair and scalp before she does anything to it. This gives you a better understanding of how to better care for your "enhanced hair" once she has put it in. I have the highest praise for the quality of her work. I am so thankful for the time she puts in when doing my hair...truly her best! The best in ATL! THANKS GENIE!

I can honestly this was ok at first, but then when i realized what a good weave was after going to a different salon....this place isnt good. She charged me 275 for 3 tracks.....that is rediculous. She didnt even braid it all the way around, leaving me to have to come back more often than i should and pulling on my hair. I think because i hadnt had sew ins before that i was taken advantage of as a customer. Took way too long for the work that was done and charged way too much.
