Ive been to the Roswell location twice and had great results with Dr. McKenna. However, my third visit left me unsatisfied. As soon as I returned home that very day, I sent an email expressing my concerns. The following week I went in to the office so his nurse could take a look. She offered to fix two of the problems, free of cost, but the third problem, which was a huge concern of mine...that I had already paid to have fixed, she told me that I would need to pay for that again. I asked to speak with Maria (manager) but the nurse said that Maria does not "make those decisions." So, I asked to speak to the person who does make those decisions. That manager came into the room and tried to convince me that my issue wasnt always fixable, even though I have previously had this area filled perfectly, by Dr McKenna, and three times by a different plastic surgeon. Management literally smiled to my face, but rolled her eyes while leaving the room, and left me feeling like I was some sort of idiot. I couldnt even believe it. The nurse came back in and apologized, putting the decision-making onto that specific manager, saying, "Im sorry, she makes all the decisions." As I was leaving, I spoke with Maria at the front desk who told me that SHE made the decision, along with Dr McKenna AND his nurse that just denied any involvement. I was made to feel like they were all talking about me and laughing at me behind my back, and practically to my face. Maria also told me that the area of concern wasnt a guaranteed fix, and that "injecting is an art. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt." I explained to her that I found that to be very strange considering I have previously had this area filled with flawless results. Maria was quick to discredit me and was very disrespectful, condescending, snarky, and rude. Not to mention the lies from each individual I encountered. Im still pretty upset about the treatment I received, because I really liked Dr. McKenna and his services in the past. Unfortunately, he has an ill equipped staff who are quick to make a woman feel like SHE did something wrong by simply voicing her concerns. I may go to another location in the future, but I am so upset by Maria and the rest of the females that I never want to encounter them again. I have an appointment with another plastic surgeon who will fix the area of concern that I already paid Dr. McKenna to fix. For some reason, I just did not get the results nor the treatment that I have received in the past. Buyer beware, if you arent happy with your results, you WILL be required to pay full price again...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY WILL LEAVE YOU ANGRY AND JUST AS HAIRY AS YOU WALKED IN! Normally I wouldnt even bother to write a review, but I feel compelled to because of the HORRIBLE experience I have had there. Very inconsistent, rude, and money hungry. The first time I went in they did a horrible job on my laser hair removal and were trying to rush me - they called to tell me the technician was going out of town on vacation and asked if I could reschedule. I called months in advance to schedule the appointment and all of the sudden, the day of, she is going on vacation? How is that my problem? Anyway, I refused to reschedule and she just rushed the process and I felt like I did not get my monies worth. Afterward, they did not even tell me how I should take care of my skin. Seeing as it was my first time getting laser hair removal, I would think someone should educate me a bit... They were extremely cold and unwelcoming. The receptionist looked at me like I was in the wrong place and I was speaking french to her when I asked very standard questions. Aside from that she and others gave me the wrong information, because the next time I went in with another Groupon they were telling me something completely different. The employees need some serious training and some serious MANNERS. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place! All they want is your money and tips - they will want to kick you out of the door once they have your money! Do they not understand that laser hair removal customers usually come back for more treatments?Apparently not, judging by the way they treat people.

I have been coming to your Roswell Road Clinic for 2 to 3 years for a variety of aesthetic procedures. Since I am in healthcare, I am overly observant of the clinical staff, setting, state compliance guidelines, and patient care. In fact, one of the staff members is one of my patients. Although I have never met Dr. McKenna and still look forward to meeting him one day, I must give him "kudos" for his Roswell road clinic and staff. The clinic environment has always provided a tranquil calmness and peace as soon as I entered its doors. Several times one of my patients has caused me to be late. When I have called ahead to let them know about my delay, despite being the last patient of the day, everyone has demonstrated complete professionalism toward me. I have always seen the same Esthetician while there and have found her superb ! She is extremely patient and very knowledgeable to my annoying medical questions and very helpful in recommending one product over another. With every procedure I have had, I come away extremely pleased. Dr. James Lawrence

Ive been going to Dr.M for almost 6 years now. I dont know what you people are talking about diluting... His botox and Rest. injections last me for MONTHS! He only uses half of the vile on my lips and they stay good for about a year! Ive been to MANY places around town and whatever these other dr.s are using might as well be water compared to Shape Med. Thats his main thing, He DOES NOT dilute his treatments, he was the one that warned me about this problem with other doctors, which was why before I started coming to him my botox NEVER lasted! Now, Im a happy customer and will be a lifer. One time I had lost my wallet and was 40 bucks short. I felt awful but he said "no problem." he always takes care of me and my friends. If I ever have any questions he always has an answer, and he will be HONEST, he wont give you something you dont need, like other doctors around here do just to make money. He wants you to look natural and beautiful and if thats what you are looking for then Shape med is the place to go!

I know everyone does not have the same experience with any business but in this case PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here!!! I bought two packages for Laser Treatment through Groupon and it has been the worst mistake ever. I am not the only one who bought it, about 8 of us from work bought these packages together and all of us feel the same way. The Laser Hair Removal itself is not an issue but the staff and people who operation this place are one. They are rude, unprofessional, untrained and just down right unethical and on top of that they ask for tips?!?! yes I said ASK!! They make appointments and then they cant seem to find them when you call to confirm. The front desk staff take their friends ahead of people who have been waiting. There are just too many things to list. Just do yourself a favor dont go here. There are plenty of other place that offer the same services these guys do and they treat you 1000% better then this place.
