I have now had two visits at Mimosa, both times to have a deep tissue massage. I was having daily headaches for over a week and felt as though they were stress related so I made an initial appointment with Peggy online (easy) briefly describing my need. When I saw her the next morning she asked me to give a little more detail regarding my headaches and we discussed the type of massage I wanted/needed. She is a former nurse, so she has some medical knowledge and understanding which I feel adds to her professionalism and ability as a massage therapist. She was kind, caring, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable with the amount of pressure she used - as I had told her not to be afraid to use a good deal of pressure. I made a second appointment for two weeks later for a full massage. (I would also like to mention that I had only one headache between visits.) My treatment with Peggy the second visit was just as pleasant and professional as the first. As she massaged me I could tell that the "knots" I had on the prior visit were about 65% less on this visit, which was a definite plus! A good massage therapist is not a replacement for a physician but they can be a wonderful intermediate!! Peggy has a new regular customer! (Her client prior to me, on my second visit, was a woman in her 90s who comes in weekly for a massage. She said it helps her sleep better. I think that is amazing!) I have not had my hair or nails done at this salon but on both visits I was treated respectfully by the other staff, the salon is set up nicely, the bathroom was clean and pleasant, and they offer refreshments while you are there. My second appointment time began about 10 minutes late but only because the prior client needed more time to dress, not because of any poor scheduling, and I was informed right away of the delay. *And, I did get my 20% off of my first visit.

Poor Customer Service I wanted to treat myself to a facial and massage the day before "Mothers Day." I made this appointment in the Spa a month in advanced. The day of my appointment; I received a call informing me that time had been switched and, I needed to decide on the spot if I wanted to keep the massage or facial; there was no time for both. When I arrived I was yelled at by Gina, the manager, for parking in front of the Spa. There was a festival across the street. When I informed her that I was coming for my appointment she yelled, "you dont have an appointment here" and, demanded I identify myself! Her staff and myself stood in disbelief of the rudeness the "Manager" displayed in front of my 15 year-old daughter! Gina never apologized for her rudeness, simply stating people attending the festival had parked in front of the Spa. After driving 45 minutes to Mimosa; I did have my facial with Peggy, who was wonderful! I will NOT, however, go back to Mimosa because from the Spa Manager to the receptionist; this place is disorganized. The facial room was not ready and, I had to wait! The floor was dirty. Its no wonder my appointment time was never confirmed and mixed up! I wanted to relax Mothers Day weekend but, I was stressed over being yelled at for parking in front of the Spa. I also never got my massage! Peggy has a gift. She should cultivate it in a customer friendly environment.

Terrible pedicure experience. This salon is just a couple miles from my house and I was hoping it could be a regular place for me, but it definitely will not be. For the most part my whole experience was poor. I was never offered anything to drink or asked if I was comfortable and the technician that provided my service was not friendly at all. I asked to upgrade my pedicure with gel polish and she acted as if it was an inconvenience to her - asking several times if I was sure before agreeing to do it. She didnt speak to me the whole service and ran out the door with her purse before I had even cashed out. I was charged an ADDITIONAL $25 for gel polish, on top of the $45 service I already purchased. In addition to all of that, the worst part of the experience in my opinion was that I filled out a survey sent to me by the business detailing my experience and never heard back from anyone about it. Im sure there will be a reply to this because it is public, but I have worked in the service industry for over ten years and own my own business and not responding to an unsatisfied customer is not the way to win them back, that is for sure!

I recently moved back to Atl area and was searching for Goldwell hair- colorist. I have highlighted hair for the last 20 years and never thought that finding a new hairstylist would be a problem. After spending ridiculous amount of money for highlights that I was not happy with (I was either too yellow, too dark, or too over-bleached), I was ready to give up and just fly back to my regular hairstylist. Several weeks ago I met a woman in Publix and her hair color was outstanding. I had to ask who is her hairstylist. She sent me to see Yulia at Mimosa Salon in Roswell. Even though I live in downtown I decided to take a risk and drove to Roswell. To my surprise, Yulia uses goldwell !!!!! I loved Yulia, she truly understands blonds !!!! She was really easy to talk with, she knew what I wanted, she really took her time with my hair plus she gave me a great haircut ! So for those of you who is looking for Golwell hair colorist, I found one for you !!!!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Did not get the 20% discount as promised on their website for being a new client. Had a mani and pedi not too pleased. The paint looks horrble, did not have my cuticles cut and she only scrub while massaging my feet. What happen to buffing the skin with a pumice stone to make your feet feel smooth? NOT worth $55 for a mani and pedi. The the young lady at check out did not ask how was my service or experience and had the odasity to ask if I wanted to tip.. My first and last time... Gina you tried and work with me and I thank you, but when I decided to make an appoinment it was going to be with the same girl I was disappoinment with. The price is ridiculous for a Mani and Pedi. Jazzy nails does a much better job and not expensive. Ill be reporting Mimosa to the better business bureau with a submission of the picture I took of my nails.

Was unsure how this place was going to be, but it has such a cozy atmosphere. Everyone is sweet and Natasha is amazing. I had a cut and ombre done and am so happy. Ive always been disappointed from other salons when I leave because they didnt give me what I wanted even though I paid an arm and a leg. This was the opposite, Natasha exceeded my expectations. She listened to what I wanted, made suggestions, and even showed me pictures just to make sure I would be OK with those suggestions. I was not pushed to buy certain products either, which is a big deal. I went on a week day which seems to be slow and i prefer it that way, very calm setting. I am soo happy with my new hair.
