I dont know, can you give negative stars? We will never be back to Firestone. My wife went there today to have our AC recharged. She told them what I asked her to say " My son had his ac recharged here and it was $187.00 so if you can do it for that amount, thats fine, if its any more let me know before you do anything to the car so I can call my husband first. Well, 2 hours later, having heard nothing from the mechanic or service desk, and anticipating that the cars ac system was being re-charged, the mechanic came back and said there is an electrical problem and that will be $39.99 for the diagnosis, and we can spend an additional hour to work on it for $89.99. My wife called me and I told her to pay the 39.99 plus tax and get the hell out of there. My issue is that there was no discussion, before doing any work, that there would be a diagnosis fee, none at all. As a result we were denied the opportunity to turn it down, or to make an informed choice. It was like this is how much $$ it is so far and let us dig deeper for another 90.00 and we will see if we find it. This is what I call an open ended invoice on their part. Thats like taping your cash to a wall and letting them throw darts at it and see what they hit. What should have happened was; they try to charge the system and if they discover an issue then come back to us with their diagnosis fee and let us make our decision to proceed, yay or nay. So, we leave firestone $40.00 lighter, and no better off, in a hot car. As it turns out our AC is low on Freon, which is what I suspected in the first place. This is why I asked for the recharge service. Needless to say we wont be back to Firestone ever, and its their loss as we are needing many repairs and tires on two cars. If I break down in front of Firestone I will have my car towed somewhere else. Firestone, when someone has an issue with their car its a problem for them. Customers come to you to relieve the problem, not add to it, be honest with people and you will do much better......

The staff is always nice enough, but the prices are just silly. I went in with a squeak under my car, and bald tires. I get the estimate and they want $2,045 for repairs and tires. Apart from the $650 they wanted for new tires, they estimated the repairs at $1,400. My car is only worth $1,500....So naturally, I took it to a friend who said the same thing about the repairs, except he estimated them at $700 INCLUDING tires... Firestone estimated one part at $118 and I needed two of them. My friend ordered the same part online for $15 each leaving me at $30 instead of $238 from Firestone for that part alone. So the moral of the story is that places like this have to make money and they dont mind overcharging to the max to do so. So if you have plenty of money and dont mind the inflated prices for the convenience of having to avoid any amount of work besides swiping your credit card, then this is definitely your place. But if you are economical at all, my suggestion is take in your car for a $10 inspection and estimate, then take it to someone local who is cheaper and just as capable (or a friend, if youre fortunate). See what they think and make an informed decision from there. But if you look around online and inform yourself, youre almost certain to find a better option than Firestone. But once again, the staff was really great and seemed capable. My issue with the company has always been its poor business tactics.

They were in a big hurry to get me out the door for their own personal reasons after an oil change last Sunday. Turned out that they didnt replace my o ring and 2 days later I had engine failure because all my oil had leaked out through the oil filter. I towed my car in and they replaced the o ring and put new oil in. No apology. In fact someone told me when I asked how long I was going to have to smell burning oil (because they barely cleaned up the mess) that I should be thankful that at least it isnt the smell of coolant burning off. I will never trust these guys with my Challenger again.

So I own a 1997 Toyota Tacoma 2.4L engine I know it does not require over 5 quarts of oil 4.4 is the norm. I went in with an online coupon for $19.99 oil change and was quickly told that my vehicle required 5.5 quarts and the total with coupon would be 27.88. Not feeling the mood to argue, get angry or drive to another shop I kept my thoughts to myself. Just know I will take my business else where. I mean if your going to lie about my oil capacity what else will you lie to me about?

Went in for an oil change, courtesy inspection, replace bulb and air filter, in an out in less than an hour, less than $70. Cant beat that, staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Of course, you have to call ahead and figure out the best time for service etc. Overall, I go to Firestone for dealer level services, and I should expect dealer level prices. Other, simple stuff is fast and cheap as long as they arent backed up and you time it right.

I went in for an appointment July 3 at 9:30a. I think a guy named Mark helped me. Everyone was very nice, informative and wasnt pushy. Mark gave me a price on a tire but the tire was out of stock when they went to get it at another store. He did everything to make it right and I ended up leaving in a better situation than I thought. I recommend this location especially if the only day you can get things done is Sunday.

Friendly, competent staff and excellent mechanic. Good products and help in selecting products and service programs. Great help in tire selection, maintenance of tires, vehicle and engine services needed. Helped to get me a service of van that I was not aware of and that was needed! Good in and out time. Clean lobby, with coffee, and clean restrooms! I do return for service.

The Firestone in Duluth is awful and they told me I need $1300 worth of BS repairs. I checked it all out myself and didnt need anything but a new bushing. I then took my car here for an alignment and the guys told me what I already knew and nothing more, so they are honest here. The lady at the front desk was very helpful as well.

Gave a different quote every time we asked how much itd cost to replace the bearing on my sisters PT cruiser. Then took forever to get the work done. She waited there for an hour to pick it up. Wed dropped the car off the day before. And she ended up paying the higher of the quotes they gave us.

I have always had excellent service with this Firestone store and in fact the only one I will take my cars to for service. The staff is always friendly and courteous and if there is a problem they will show me what work needs to be done and the cost. I would highly recommend this facility.
