After failing to receive a response from any of 4 phone call messages to request a move-out cleaning -- maybe since she was moving OUT OF STATE? and would no longer be a customer? -- my 78 year old newly widowed friend (a customer of this Molly Maid franchise for the past several years) finally had someone drop in at the Molly Maid office. The woman who was there was very nice, was apologetic, and scheduled the customers cleaning for "between 1:30 and 2 pm" on the moving day, after all furniture would be removed. This was about 10 days prior to the date of the move. The widow arrived at 1:15 on moving day to let the cleaning crew in and waited for them to arrive. When no one had arrived by 2 pm, she called and was told "were just around the corner, well be there soon." So, she waited some more. She called again sometime after 3 pm: "This house is dirtier than we thought, but well be there soon." They finally arrived at 4:45, 2 hours and 45 minutes later than the latest time of arrival that they had promised her. Inexcusable. Unprofessional. Obviously uncaring, perhaps because they knew this woman would no longer be a repeat customer due to leaving the state, and perhaps also influenced by the realization that they had her "over a barrel" because, physically unable to clean the place herself, if she did not wait for the Molly Maids to clean for her, she would not receive her deposit. The only reason I am giving this treatment one star is because the system will not allow me to post this comment unless at least one star is selected.

First off this was the worse experience ever. When I did the initial consult with Joe we did a walk through if the house he said they should be able to clean your house in 3 hours. When they arrived they were late I was told this wont be my regular crew but they should be there by 10:00am I called the office and spoke with Latonya who claims shes the owner. What a sad thing that is. She has no customer service skills. There all about the money. She told me they were scheduled to be at my house between 10-12...Awww no thats not what I was initially told. The cleaning was horrible. They left dust on my Ralph Lauren comforter from the ceiling fans dust was still on the tv and baseboards. One of the girls had attitude the whole time. And when I told them to stop cleaning because it was past 3 hours and I had somewhere to be they tried to charge me for another hour. She was still clocking her time as she was gathering her items. I asked her to call Joe ( the owner) he told her he will call me later ...wow I couldnt believe it....what a big headache. So after paying $255 I still have to clean and they never got to the downstairs. Remind you I keep a clean house just needed them to focus on the blinds and baseboards and that wasnt done. I wont be referring this company to nobody. A total rip off

We had a scheduled appointment between the hours of 12pm-2pm for today 06/21/2016. I took off work early to make sure I was there to let them in so they could get started. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP NOR CALLED OR ANYTHING!! My wife called back several times to try and get an ETA or just some communication as to why they where either running late or not able to make it. This is very, very bad business. You do not OVER-PROMIS and then UNDER-DELIVER. And to not even call and let your appointed customer know what is going on, is disrespectful and unprofessional. As a business owner myself, If I cannot come through with what I promised, I will be the first to let the customer know of what is going on with their situation. Communication fosters better relationships and as a customer, if I am getting great service, I am going to use that service again and again when needed. Greatly disappointed in the DOUGLASVILLE MOLLY MAID BRANCH.

The employees who came to clean arrived in a timely manner and did the job well. However the staff at the office billed my credit card twice. When I called to alert them of the error (one week after the cleaning) I was told they would have to check with the billing department and if they could call me back. I received an immediate call back that it was their error and they would send a reimbursement check. Three weeks later I still have not received a reimbursement and upon calling to ask where the check was I was put on hold and then asked if they could call me back. Ive yet to receive an explanation.. Do yourself a favor find someone else to clean your house. Not worth the hassle.

We recently just moved in to our house, and it needed some major cleaning. I felt dirty walking into every room and couldnt believe the shape some things were in. Im very glad I called Molly Maid to fix this issue because it would have taken an entire week for us to clean it... Latonya was very friendly over the phone, and I really appreciated the reminder call and e-mail the day prior to my cleaning. Gloria and Terrica did a wonderful job of making our new house feel homey - everything looks clean and smells great. If it werent for some cobwebs still lingering in the windows, I would have rated 5 stars.

These people are simply the best. Our crew, Monique and Vonda, is incredible; thorough, meticulous, and fast. We have Molly Maid come weekly, but I would recommend them for any cleaning project you have--even if it is just a one-time clean up. Joe and his wife are great to work with and take care of all our needs in a courteous, professional manner. If I could give Joes group six stars I would.
