My muffler needed a new front seal...and one spot on the back needed a piece welded. to patch. My guy was busy so I called and they said swing on by. They said this whole muffler needs to be replaced...because if they take the bolts off they were "so rusted" they would break and then they would have to drill it out. Then they proceeded to show me "holes" and when I scraped the rust...it was metal. All in they quoted me $2000 for a new muffler or $90/hour to fix the other part...not including the weld. I asked them to fix the alignment instead...they said sure.....I went to lunch...came back and they hadnt done it yet...said 40 minutes....I said take it down. I went to my muffler guy...he said....$50 as long as those bolts dont give him any issues.....they were off in 10 minutes and perfect....he even lubed them up...went right back on....then he welded the back part...muffler is like brand new. NOTE: They also pointed out a leak in my axle underneath...the oil looked fresh....fyi..the engine oil has over 4000 miles on it...it would have been black or red if it was transmission. He showed me how he could put his finger in and get oil. I cant prove it yet....I think he might have just put some oil there.

Came by on Saturday and was greeted by two gentlemen who were working there after standing in the lobby for around 10 minutes unattended. Once I was able to make contact with the employees, one of them was kind enough to step out to the lot with me to look at my truck. My muffler tip was hanging too low after an install at another muffler shop. The gentleman advised me that he would need to cut the pipe, rotate the tip upwards, re-weld the pipe, then mount my new muffler tip, which I had with me. The price I was quoted for this minimal job was $125. Absolutely obscene. I politely declined the work and asked them to remove my truck from the lift and I would leave. When the gentleman went to the bay area to retrieve my truck, he and his co-worker began discussing my refusal of the service in a very derogatory manner, and made some very rude and disrespectful comments. I guess they thought the door was soundproof? I was able to have my exhaust fixed properly by a competitor on Monday for $30. I do not advise anyone to visit this location for any reason. If the prices arent what drives you away, the lack of professionalism surely will.

We looked on line for a coupon to get an oil change on our Honda Accord. We found a coupon for a basic oil change for 19.95 I saved it to my phone. We walk in to find no one at the counter an then after a few mins here comes an unfriendly guy said how can I help you. We told him we wanted to get a oil change an had a coupon from Internet from meineke for 19.95 he bluntly said no it will be thirty something an that my coupon had expired the first of September or last of August. He didnt know his job very well. I still have my coupon saved to my phone an it doesnt expire until 10/31/16 The sign says under new management but it sure is bad business to try to get new customers in. This place doesnt rank too high. This place is close by where we live so we thought we would give them some service but with attitudes an greetings like that they will lose a lot more customers you need to first be friendly an then honest. It will go a long ways

Rip off! I brought my care here because I was having a lot of break noise. They said they replaced the rear pads and shoes and charged me over $200. I wound up having to take my car to another shop less than 2 weeks later because I was still having problems and after pulling off the tires it was discovered that the brakes were never changed!! My car still had the factory brakes! I had two low tires as well so they didnt even check tire pressure!! These people are thieves!! Do NOT use them to even change your wiper blades!!

Buyer Beware, if you have your vehicle serviced here. Please be sure that you are ready to pay on the exact day the vehicle service is completed. They will charge you a $15 a day "storage" fee until full payment is received. No wiggle room at all. If they finish on Wendsday and your payday is on Friday, Expect to pay an extra $45. Cant complain about the actual work, however highly lacking in customer service and basic understanding of compassion. These fellas only see or hear dollars when dealing with human beings.

This Meineke in Gainesville has an all new crew and new staff and they take the $19 oil changes no problem. I asked them to check my car over because I was going on a trip and they did not try to sell me anything I didnt need. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. They told me the services that they did and I will return When I need my car fixed thank you guys and Meineke and have a great weekend

If you had a bad experience previously I recommend you give these guys a chance. Jimmy and Chris I saw a sign that indicated "under new management" so I thought I would disregard the bad reviews and see how it went. I was waited on instantly. The necessary repair was communicated to me honestly with no upselling and I got a muffler repair and oil change in less than an hour . Very satisfied !

Jim Allen is a manager that know his stuff and takes care of his customers! As a woman, it is hard to find a place to take your car to get fixed and not feel taken advantage of. I am so thankful to have an automotive shop I can trust and depend on. Thanks Meineke, for having a great team of dependable machanics! Went in for an oil change they informed me that I had a pretty bad transmisson leak. Very thankful they caught this before I had to get a new transmisson. Also my tire was close to popping I had no idea. The place I used to go had never told me about these issues. Peices were very fair. Will be a Meineke customer from now on. Also very friend and even spoke to my 4yr old.

Went up there to get my exhaust looked at. The "tech" didnt even talk just got in my car and pulled it around back. The service was terrible and he came out and said itd run me about 200$ just to weld a pipe to fix it. I just shook my head and went home. Terrible service. Thieves. I had it welded by another shop for 50$.

I had a great experience today at Meineke. I used the oil change coupon I received in the mail so I got a great value. The technician was friendly, competent and fast!! They even gave me a tail light bulb for free! Thank you. I will definitely use this location for all my auto repair needs :)

I was totally satisfied with the service I received. I got my SUV there around 4:45 one evening, and they had it fixed by 6:00. Its been fine since. Ronnie Rapert, the manager, was very personable and fair. Id recommend this place to anyone.
