My brake rotars went bad earlier this year in April, and this was the closest mechanic I could find that would repair them. At first, everything seemed great. They were friendly and took me in right away. After looking at my car, they told me that the rotars on the front needed immediate replacement. I agreed, knowing that was the problem in the first place. They also told me my back rotars were bad and needed replaced, but seeing as they were the rear brakes, I could get away with not immediately replacing them. I opted out of the back brakes, much to their disappointment. After driving the car home, the brakes definitely were in better shape, but I kept hearing squealing as if theyd never been fixed at all. I was assured that sometimes brakes will squeak a couple months after being replaced. Come October, they are STILL squeaking, and now are beginning to grind, with my brake light popping up every now and again. I am going on a road trip in a few weeks, so I took it into another shop for a full diagnostic test and asked if they would check out the brakes while they were at it, as I had a bad feeling about them. Lo and behold, the mechanics told me the left brake pads had been worn down to almost 40%, as the rotars and brakes had been improperly installed. He advised me to go back to the mechanic, and have them fix it on the warranty. I immediately drove over to Angle Automotive, and showed them the copy of my diagnostic paper, told them my brakes were bad, and said that I wanted the rotars and pads to be replaced on the warranty. The front desk clerk reluctantly took my keys and drove the car around while he took a look. When they came back in, they said my brake rotars looked fine and had me come back to look with them. At this point, my boyfriend had showed up to pick me up while the car was being serviced. Immediately, the mechanics began talking to my boyfriend instead of me. Mind you, I am the owner of this vehicle. I drive 100 miles on my daily commute, and while I may not be a professional mechanic, I do my research before I step foot into any auto repair shop. I had been experiencing the issue with the brakes in Atlanta traffic daily, and wanted to be safe rather than sorry. My boyfriend, on the other hand, drives the car about once or twice a week, on short trips to the store. Even in his minimal experience driving my car, he agreed there was a definite problem with the brakes. The mechanics continued asking my boyfriend all the questions, showing him my rotars, and completely ignoring my answers. I grew increasingly more frustrated as they insisted that nothing was visibly wrong with the brakes, so there was no problem. Fed up, I told the guy to take it for a test drive. He pulls the car around and asks MY BOYFRIEND to come along with him for the test drive. I hop in the car anyways, still being ignored by the mechanic as he chats with my boyfriend. There is a little bit of grinding as he stops and goes, but he passes it off as the shocks. We ask him more and more about the car, and my boyfriend finally asks how the actual brake pads looked when they examined the car. The mechanic reveals they hadnt looked at the pads at all. Only the immediately visible rotars. When we get back to the shop, he still insists theres nothing wrong. I am fed up at this point, and tell him to replace the rotars and pads anyways, just as I had asked him to an hour and a half earlier. I drive in Atlanta traffic every day, and dont want any risks. He finally takes my keys, looking pretty crestfallen at this point. When I drive the car home later, the squealing has stopped and the brakes are working perfectly, even in the stop-and-go traffic of Gainesville. I drove to Commerce, to Athens, and to Lula, since then and I have had no more problems. I have never experienced such blatant sexism in my life, and I would advise all ladies to stay as far away from this place as possible. Its hard to find honest mechanics nowadays, and Angle Automotive is certainly not among them. I will not be taking my car back to this shop.

WILL NEVER RETURN!! If you want young inexperienced techs to work on your car and ruin your car, then this place is for you. These guys removed my inline fuel pump instead of my fuel filter. At one point, they had gasoline spraying all over their faces, and I had to pretty much tell them how to change a fuel filter. After waiting for them to work on my car for two and a half hours, they told me that my car would not start and I need to tow it out of their shop. My car just had a professional fixed the break two weeks ago, and it was running perfectly fine. I politely refused to tow my car, and the manager threatened me over the phone that he would call the police. I thought that was the lowest thing to do. I called the police myself and had them to put my original stuff back on, and it ran fine again. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. I took it to All Tune and Lube, and apparently Advance Auto Part sold me the wrong filter. BUT, All Tune and Lube nicely explained it to me, gave me the right filter, and changed it for me in the matter of second, and their price was lower, their service was great. angle auto. is the worst place to go have your car work on. They are rude. If the owner would have spend more time managing instead of flirting with the little techs... well never mind, he would have still screwed it up too. The bottom line is, if you take your car to these people, and they mess it up because they dont know what the hell they are doing even though your car drive perfectly fine. they will be rude to you and will call the cop on you if you dont move your car because it was blocking their bay after their tear your car up.

I recently purchased new tires fore my car. Within the tire establishment was a flyer for Angle Automotive with a certificate for a free Alignment coupon. While I was waiting for the new tires to be installed I noticed that the shop was right next door. After I finished at the tire shop I went and had my alignment checked and as I had figured I needed one. It was a Saturday and it appeared that all the mechanics and staff were working hard on the customers vehicles. While I was waiting I had a conversation with one of the mechanics, of whom turns out was the owner. I left very impressed and the pricing for services were very reasonable. From over listening to other customers, some whom have been for a long time, the diagnostics and pricing and honesty was refreshing to hear. I am very pleased that I have found a reasonable priced mechanical shop nearby for any future vehicle services I may need! By the way the wait from entering the shop and leaving was just a little over a half an hour, on a Saturday afternoon! Great job guys!

Sent my wife into the store to have a alignment done. Was referred by discount tire that this shop has the best equipment in town. They told my wife that the inner tie rod in our 2011 maxima was loose. The guy did not pull the tire to show that it was loose. He simply wiggled the shaft of the tie rod and told my wife see it moving right here. I told my wife to go ahead and have the tie rod fixed not knowing all the of the story. But I told her to get the part and bring it to me. The part when I received it had been grinded at the thread. What kinda mechanic has to grind a tie rod off of a clean 2011 car? Very dishonest and not to mention took 3 hours to change a 20 min tie rod. Very very upset to see yet another dishonest mechanic in my hometown.
