Almost lost a very important package when delivered to this location. A prepaid priority mail package containing a passport was sent to this location by embassy. The tracking page showed it was delivered at 3:30. I was at home by 5:30 but did not see the package. I went to this USPS location. They said the record shows it was delivered but they would have to ask the delivery person. I was not contacted in two days even though they said they would. After that, my roomate fortunately could catch the delivery person. And this is what happend. - She(the delivery person) did not deliver because postage was short and she could not find anyone at home to pay. - She wrongfully marked the package as delivered in the tracking sytem even though she did not deliver. - She is supposed to return it back to USPS center but she did not. - She did not try to deliver the package next two days. Well, that costed me $150 dollars more in air ticket price since I could not buy the ticked until I see the visa in the passport and lots of anxiety of loosing the passport.

Recently had some trouble with a package that could not be delievered to my apartment because the address on it was wrong. I came here looking to see if I could catch it before they returned it to sender, and the man at the counter DID NOT want to look for it for me. He kept trying to tell me that it definitely wasnt there, before I could even finish talking. He kept interrupting me, saying that packages are sent back after a certain amount of days. When I FINALLY got to finish saying that it had only been one day, he just kind of went "oh........" and then went in the back to look. And oh, what a surprise!!! He found my package. Long story short, this man didnt want to help me. He was ready to turn me away without even listening to me. If I hadnt persisted, I wouldnt have gotten my package. Awful, horrible service. Why are postal workers allowed to be so terrible to people? Ive worked in retail for 10 years and if I EVER acted this way, Id get fired.

This post office is so frustrating. They consistently lose our mail if we put a stop on it. They wont deliver packages. We always have to pick them up after the delivery has been "attempted". Various reasons have included steep driveway, wet driveway, address does not exist and mailbox is full (after placing 1 package in it). Dont waste your time calling the office, you wont get any service. They say they dont know whats going on or the carrier is not back. The manager laughed when he was shown the steep driveway slip. Our mail carrier doesnt miss a call though. Their cell phone is always attached to their ear while they deliver in our neighborhood.

said they tried to deliver a package at 503 pm yesterday. They did not. I was home working by the front door as i usually am until after 630. No slip left. There never is. Unsure why SOME USPS carriers can make it to my house and leave packages but others cannot. NEVER have this issue with UPS or Fedex. UPS always delivers and FEDEX will leave a slip and redeliver. Some pachages from USPS just dropped in driveway. One dropped on porch while i was working and heard to shatter. Unsure how they can get away with such lousy customer service. their line is always busy, wonder if they leave it off the hook.

Being accused of making mistake on zip code on my "Click-N-Ship" label which I didnt make any mistake, the package was not delivered to where it suppose to go (residential address) instead went different city (showing as business address) because USPS made mistake on one zip code # (misread on my label?), held at the post office, still not being delivered... Anyone can make mistake, the shipment could be delayed, I accept that, but getting accused of me(on the phone)making mistake on zip code which I explained to her that I didnt make mistake) is not acceptable! Bad customer service!!!

Moved here from NC a couple years ago and have never had a problem. Always helpful and friendly staff. When I missed my passport apt. the lady told me where I can go as a walk-in. When it comes to sending/receiving packages I have never had a problem. I think some ppl writing these reviews are getting them mixed up with UPS...

Customer service is great, friendly however most reviews are terrible due to people ranting about USPS as a business but not this specific location. The staff is efficient and wonderful. However the lobby is not open 24 hours which is deceiving with the listed hours. But the po boxes are always open.

Avoid this place! I shipped a few boxes, one box needed one piece of tape and they charged me $3.49 plus tax JUST FOR THE TAPE! I brought my own boxes and printed the labels myself. UPS and FedEx does not charge to close your box. Come on government, this is why youre losing to the private sector.

Never had an issue here. Sometimes you have to wait. Be patient. These people have to deal with the public. But Ive never had an issue with anyone being rude. They have always helped me, even saved me money by suggesting a cheaper way to ship!

Worst experience of my life. Awful employes! Dana actually yelled across the room "NEXT PERSON" as rudely and loudly as Possible! she had a horrible attitude and does not even deserve to have a job if she cant have a better attitude than that.

I called this office at 5:20 so I could ask a question before they closed at 6:00. Someone answered the phone and placed me on hold for 35 minutes!!!!! No one returned to the line and they closed at 6:00. Extremely Unprofessional!!!!!!!

Many sad experiences over the past 10 years. Every week we have an issue, either with mail or packages or with un professional mailmen/women. Its strange because we never have a problem with UPS, DHL or FedEx.

Never had an issue and I go there often. Very nice and quick staff, they even smile! ;). If you guys want to see rude customer service, go to the post office on Howell Mill in Atlanta.
