Me giving this place two stars is generous. It was okay at first...the infant and toddler teachers really care about the kids. With that being said...DO NOT RELY ON THEM TO GIVE YOU ANY INFORMATION ON TIME. I am taking my son out of this location because of the lack of organization an attention to detail. They have a system called PreciouStatus that is awesome if it would be used to let you know when your child needs milk and diapers. Things that really sucked as of late -Lack of organization -Lack of communication -Lack of teachers -Lack of Snot patrol (My son had boogers on his neck. -If you do not have your kid their by a certain time you have to call...yeah its like work or an appointment -Cleanliness my sons blanket has been out of his cubby --Today it was on another kids blanket and the day before it was under another cot ...ewww The only good thing is that most of them are pleasant people. Oh, and my son has diaper rash---its on the beginning stages but I didnt notice anything this morning before school. Instead of telling me---I get a whiff of A+D ointment from his diaper. At the end of the day---these are the people whom your kids spend most of their time with---why is it so hard to get it together. Buyer Beware

My husband & I had a really bad experience with a previous school before coming to La Petite. I was already very defensive, & skeptical about the next day care. After dropping our son off for the week, I noticed a complete change in his behavior when picking him up, & dropping him off. Mind you, hes in the infant room. When we first started there, he was about 10 1/2 months. I noticed he wouldnt cry, when Id drop him off. He would start giggling, & clapping his hands when we pulled in. Which later turned in to him yelling yay in the car. :) That obviously was a great indication, which also made me feel at ease. My husband, & I absolutely adore Ms. Patty!!! Along with our son! :) I love how Patty & Kim work with the infants (no matter the age) with their words, numbers & etc. Learning is not just for the older kids. Our sons words have extended with the help of his teachers. Which is even more awesome. :) great school, great teachers.

I went to this school starting when I was 6 weeks old, as well as my brother, and so did my best friend. My daughter was there but I pulled her with all the changes. I agree with the post below, but that was a year ago. These teachers mentioned are not even at this school anymore. New management came in and cleared out some of the best teachers. They have changed all the staff. They are even on probation due to all the things that has happened in the past several months. Be careful because they may leave your child on the playground like they did before and I found that out on their licensing report which you should check out. I use to have faith in this school and I dont anymore. I would not recommend this school what so ever. Now we are at Primary Prep and they are absolutely amazing!!!

We just recently moved to Atlanta from out of State, we were worried about our daughters(infant) next school because of previous experiences. After her first week @ La Petite, we noticed alot of positive changes in her. She loves the school, she does not cry unnecessarily anymore when we drop her, even during weekends when she is with us at home, we notice she hands us books to read to her, she is more discipline with her nap time as well. All these would not have been noticed if La Petite was not doing a GREAT job. She likes her teachers,I think they are doing a tremendous job, I would recommend the school anytime. As a parent, Ms Patricia, the director makes you feel so confident that your child is in safe hands...

La Petite was and still is a great school, the transition has showed great improvements. My daughter’s class now have a computer, so at the young age of 3, she and her fellow classmates are already learning computer skills. The staff is very warm and friendly and issues are addressed in a timely manner. Thumbs up to La Petite on Shallowford for all your efforts to make the environment full of love, care and fun learning,

I went here from when i was a baby till i went to kindergarten. Me and my sister have both loved it their! The summer camp isnt the best and i havent been back for a few years so it could have changed and most of my childhood teachers have quit/fired. But the teachers were kind and helped me get ready for kindergarten. I would love to thank them for taking care of me if they were still their.

My two little boys just started there a few months ago, and we really feel good about the facility and its staff. They are all so friendly, whether its early in the morning, or late in the evening. I feel so comfortable every morning when I drop my kids off, knowing that theyre being taken good care of.
