Ive never made a purchase from Hometown tire but I did call there once. I was just around the corner eating with my wife and my three young children when I got out of my truck and heard a loud hissing sound. Upon further inspection I noticed a had a leak in onfof my rear tires in the middle of the tread. I drive an a lifted F 250 Super Duty with 35" 12.50s. For those that dont understand, these are very large tires. I called Hometown at about 8 minutes until closing time, explained my situation and asked would he be willing to help. His simple reply was, "no". I completely understand wanting to go home but I was caught completely of guard with such a simple, curt answer. Hometown Tire obviously makes too much money and have no desire to earn new business. I drove to Walmarart and bought a plug kit. An employee from the automotive department saw me working on my truck, went on break (Walmart can not touch a vehicle with aftermarket wheels) and assisted me with plugging my tire and filling it back up. Thats customer service!

My Jeep was clicking when I turned the wheel and I was a week away from payday. I stopped in to see if I could make it until payday or if I would end up on the side of the road. I tried to describe my problem and was told that they could diagnose the noise for 60$. I (wrongly)believed it was the axles and had priced some at Auto zone, so I asked what they would charge to put them in, and was told that they would install them, no problem but if that wasnt what was causing the problem they wouldnt tell me. I told him that wasnt right. He said that if they went to the trouble of diagnosing the problem and then I took it somewhere else to fix it, they would lose out on time and effort they put into it. I understand where they were coming from but still I dont really want someone with that kind of an attitude working on my Jeep. I mean why should I trust them when they wont trust me?

The staff may seem nice but the incompetence is astounding. I go to get my radiator flushed, they dont put my cap back on all the way, and my car overheats while I am on my way to work with my toddler & baby in the car. I call to see what they can do and was told they would put the cap back on right. My engine is finished but hey they will be oh so kind as to put the cap on correctly now. Wth? So now I have 2 grand worth of expenses because the idiots there couldnt do one simple thing. PUT THE CAP BACK ON RIGHT. I wouldnt take my childs Tonka truck there.

Went there on a Saturday it was 1:49 and was trun away told the employee that i had a emergency and i was told that that they couldnt help and to go up the road and someone up there might help..and the times on the door said they closed at 2:00pm so i guess the customer isnt as important as they say ..but you guys dont worry someone up the road did help ..and i will never go there to home town again..so if anyone is needing help with your car you might be better off just pass them up and go up the road..

ON TRACK GARAGE DOORS

after searching for a shop to install some torsion keys on my RAM for a couple weeks, I found home town tire. The price was much better than every one else i had talked to. I must say that I am a satisfied customer. The price was right and they did a great job! Thanks goes out to Brad, he made me feel like family. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others.

This place sucks. Had my car towed here for repairs they said it couldnt be fixed, so I come to pick my car up and theyve had it towed and said they didnt know whos car it was. Beware they do care about you or your vehicle.
