OK. Anyone that wrote a good review about this place clearly just came back from an EDM festival, pumped on questionable substances. Of all my 9 plus years of award-winning experiences here, I have yet to leave happy. I live in Roswell, closer to Alpharetta, which makes the drive here about 15 minutes on a good day. Traffic will easily make it a 30 minute drive. Sometimes my packages get lost, and surely enough, this POST OFFICE is the hub Im supposed to go to. There are 2 other Post Offices closer to me (both of which suck), yet I have to come here. To begin with, the line is always out the door, so you are forced, juxtaposed in this pathetic excuse of a line with all sorts of other angry customers that are their for various other reasons. By the time you reach the clerk, you are already upset because you waited in line for an hour, you had to come pick up your package that you paid to get shipped, and you had to share germs with 20 different customers that feel it appropriate to sneeze with out covering their freaking mouths simply because they are at a post office! The clerks are all jerks. Its as if, they even know how worthless they are, that they simply gave up eons ago, and decided "if ya cant beat em, join em"! Theres this eerie sense of pride in all of the workers that hints their awareness of their horrendous attitudes. Its honestly like some 1920s freak circus show. All kinds of freaks are on display and are getting paid to show you a nasty, disgusting performance they brand customer service. It really is laughable. Finally, to tip things off, Connie, I believer her name is, will make your day just swell. Ive tried multiple times to smile at her, greet her, compliment her and even say please. Each time, she is a smart donkey in response and she basically goes OUT OF her way to be a pain. She really tries to make things difficult and she tries her best to make you feel stupid. For example, my neighborhood doesnt get deliveries on Sundays yet and only Jesus knows why. I was expected a package that said Out for Delivery last Sunday, then suddenly changed to Undeliverable in a matter of minutes. The following day, Monday, I speak to Connie and she says that I wasnt home. I told her that I was, and that I would remember whether or not I was home. She then says that its because I couldnt hear the door bell ring because I was in the bathroom. REALLY? Are you some fortune teller now Connie?? First of all, it goes straight to my mailbox idiot. Secondly, I would know if the damn doorbell rang cause my room is 2 feet from the damn door. When the package DID get delivered the next day, I confronted the delivery man, who said he scanned it not deliverable because my neighborhood doesnt deliver on Sundays. So why did this Connie lie? Connie is the crippled, wrinkled, foreskin covered grandma wilder-beast from the Colorado forests that somehow found her way to Roswell, GA. She honestly looks like Jenny from Forrest Gump at age 121. Her voice sounds like what Howard Sterns voice would sound like with a long smoking history. Shes the only blonde lady there, and her hair looks like its been dyed with horse urine. Her breath smells like someone grinds garlic INTO her teeth so that it became part of her teeth. She has the nastiest attitude and I cant wait for the day she retires or gets fired so she can terrorize her own grand children instead of customers. I HATE THIS POST OFFICE! I wish I didnt have to come HERE for problems that shouldnt have happened anyway!

Allow me to preface by stating that I have never had a negative experience of note with a post office before. Call me sheltered. This time however, the team really pulled together and managed to screw up on every single level. This particular shipment held materials to be used for a commissioned piece of artwork with a rigid deadline. My shipment tracking was wrong, stating that my package had been sorted through the Atlanta facility and then delivered to....Knoxville, TN (?!) on a day that the package wasnt even out for delivery. A few days later, I received the pinkslip on the door. The address on it was overwhelmingly incorrect from my actual address even though the delivery driver must have literally had my correct address in his hand (on the package) but couldnt be bothered to check before he jotted down something and thought "Yeah, that could totally be an address." I thought nothing of this as I strolled into the post office, slip in hand, the next morning. The gentleman behind the counter took it and disappeared into the back just long enough for me to dance a single round of Hokey Pokey before haunting back and informing me that the package was out for redelivery even though I never authorized it. I went home and waited. Nothing. My package was not on the truck. The next morning, I went in again and spoke to a different employee. I spoke to Sharon. I explained the situation, and she went in the back to look again, longer this time. At least two dozen Hokey Pokeys. When she returned, she asked if she had the correct address on the slip; something the other gentleman didnt think to ask me. I remembered that no, it was very much not correct, and she patiently informed me that the packages are sorted by address, not name as I originally thought. Hope renewed, she went to look again. Still nothing, so we checked in her computer system for the tracking information, which I told her was also incorrect. Approximately 10 minutes later, and for a third time, she went into the back room to check for my package. She finally found it behind a rack on the floor, as it had been carelessly knocked back there by another employee. The day was saved. Now a few more words on Sharon. Not only was she the epitome of amiability from beginning to end, but she is a can-do employee amidst seemingly most of her cant-do and wont-do co-workers. This, as many of us know, is an extreme rarity and a real challenge when put in that situation. She was a lifeboat in this sea of ineptitude and mediocrity. She was sympathetic to my situation, and she didnt give me attitude at my mistakes or at having to explain things to me, like how I should have made sure the address was correct, which may save me another headache in the future. I dont know if Sharon has New Employee Syndrome or if she works hard everyday to give customers that level of service, but she is doing an exemplary job. These stars are because of Sharon, so take care of good employees like these, Roswell Post Office, and maybe youre not the clowns these other reviews would have you believe.

I wish I could give 0 stars!! Unprofessional is an absolutely understatement. I came into this branch repeatedly to file complaints against one of the couriers who was not delivering our certified letters or packages, and who verbally attacked contractors who were working on our home. Not only did the service provided not improve, it got worse, with the courier speaking out of turn to me, who is currently 9 months pregnant. Basically, the management ignore my complaints and told me "well we know how she is, but youre the only one complaining so what do you want us to do?" After finally escalating my complaints I found that none of my prior complaints were filed, and there was no case number. Once one was created, a supervisor from the facility called me and warned that me escalating will only result in them getting called so it was pointless, but they would make sure I get my packages. Since then, Ive noticed that the same courier continues to deliver mail but still wont get out of her truck to deliver packages. Instead they send a different person specifically to deliver those. Today I waited all day for a delivery that I needed to complete the babys nursery, and finally called to figure out what was going on because the mail was already delivered. The package was just sitting at the facility and they said now theyll send someone out to deliver. So not only is this courier extremely rude and unprofessional, but management is so lax that rather than reprimand her or address the issue of her behavior in some other way, they simply let my mail sit and wait for ME to call and inquirer about it. I am absolutely disgusted by this entire staff. I will continue to escalate this issue, and would advise anyone who has alternative delivery options to exercise those. This staff is deplorable.
