I have been taking my child to get his haircut for five years now (he is six). We normally go to Great Clips because of the online check in and we normally go to the one in Loganville, because its closers to were we live. But yesterday I took my son to the one in Snellville, in the presidential commons. We got there and waited maybe a minute. The lady asked me what I wanted. I told her that its normally in the computer and with attitude she told me what it said. She tried to explain it to me (someone he who does not cut hair). I ended up telling her that I just dont want it too short on top and that he doesnt like the clippers because he says they tickle. She took him to her chair and I sat back down in the waiting area (like I normally do, because he does better if Im not standing there). The first thing I noticed about her was when we were checking in, my son jokingly told the lady he wanted the whole basket of suckers. (Hes six, he was slightly kidding) She gave him this strin look and said, No. You have to save some for the other kids. Then when he went to sit in her chair, he doesnt like to have the paper around his neck. It scratches his neck and 100% of the other times, the ladies understand and dont mind it. Well, this lady starts to fuss at my son and says that it is a state law and he has to have it on. (Problem #1) She begins to cut his hair. He is fidgeting because I know the paper on his neck is scratching his skin. She doesnt talk to him unless she is telling him not to move. She because irritated and starts telling my son that if he moves again she is going to have me come and hold him. He moves his leg and she asks me to come over. I tell him to stop moving because the lady doesnt want to cut him. Is still for a second and he begins to move. After his father and I speak with him, he begins to cry and the lady says to him that he was the most difficult child she had all day. (Well maybe if you listened to him about the stupid paper he wouldnt have moved so much! Its irritated his skin!) We check out and leave and my son begins to cry. I ask him what is wrong and he says that the lady was really mean. In all, I understand that a child could get hurt if they move too much. But maybe a little nicer conversation with a child and make getting thier hair cut a fun experience instead of making them feel like they are in trouble and having to have thier heads shaved would be nice. Oh! And another thing, she used the clippers and of course it tickled him (like I said it would) and she fussed at him for moving! Well, duh! If something tickled you, wouldnt you move. All in all his hair looks good, but she may need to be trained in cutting childrens hair. In all my life, Ive never had a cosmetologist make me or anyone I know cry, until now. I will not be bringing my son back to that location.

WORST SALON EVER!!!! Managers and hair stylists have a nasty attitude and dont even take the time to listen to what you want. I had originally wanted a certain haircut that I saw online but the stylist did not care to see it and even had an attitude by stating that she knew what layers were. Also, the stylist did not spend as much time on me cutting my hair as she did chatting with other people. She literally left and walked elsewhere to have a full blown conversation that ended up lasting longer than her cutting my hair. Needless to say my haircut was an utter disaster. I absolutely hated it and the worst part was that the stylist did not even ask for my opinion or if I wanted to make any changes. She immediately kicked me out of the chair and did not even let me look at my hair cut. Also, she completely screwed my bangs up by cutting them short/choppy and made my bangs start all the way from the middle of my head. The stylists attitude was totally unacceptable and it surprises me that she continues to work there with the attitude she has shown to clients. This great clips does not respect customers, much less appreciate them. I also want to add that the stylist had dark brown hair with blond/bleached bangs as the other reviewer stated. Bottom line: do not take chances at great clips and visit a salon that actually treats you like a valued customer.

I went to this salon a total of 3 times. Moving to GA made my life miserable because I couldnt find a decent salon. I came across great clips and decided to go there to get my hair done since I have seen the salon almost everywhere. Thought it must be a reputable salon. The first time I went there I had a great stylist. She did exactly what I wanted. The second time I went there of course the first girl no longer works there. The second girls name was Brandy. She was awesome as well. There I thought well I think I found my salon. I had to go again for a trim because my hair grows back quickly and was leaving town the next day so needle to say I was desperate. There was this other lady Kris (dark hair with ugly blonde tips). I told her I just wanted a trim because I like the style the last girl did. OMG I regretted having her TRIM my hair. Apparently she doesnt know what trim means. She pretty much did exactly what I asked her NOT to do. I even had a picture to show her how I wanted my hair. In all she was pretty much interested in was what I do for a living and kept going on and on. Within no time she told me she was done. Didnt let me see how the back of my hair looked or anything. Instead she was just trying to sell me the salon products. Worst experience ever!!!!!!

The first time I went there with my boyfriend the lady gave him a wonderful cut and I loved it. The second time I went there a lady with curly dark hair with bleached blonde hair at the top (it looks horrible, by the way) did his hair - I was super upset and told her she needed to fix it because it looked GOD AWFUL. She fixed it and it looked good after I told her what to do - she made notes in the computer. Thinking that she would be able to repeat the hairstyle and do what she had done before the third time, I went back. Immediately upon entering and sitting down she gave me a dirty look, clearly remembering who I was. She then gave my boyfriend a less-then-decent haircut and it was not blended and not what I wanted. I am so fed up with her, her attitude, and the place that we will not be returning. Stay away - or if you do, do not get your hair cut by the lady with dark curly hair with messed up bleach strands on the top of her head. We went 4/15/15 around 6pm
