Called another well-reviewed "roofing and construction/remodeling" company based out of Watkinsville on a Thursday morning after discovering three small leaks in our attic the previous evening. I was given a vague window for a call-back/appointment of "maybe this afternoon.....maybe Friday.....maybe Monday or Tuesday". Seriously? Four days (not to mention the weekend in between)?!?! I thought, "okay.....based on the reviews, its probably worth the wait". Never got the call back from them so moved on to Christian Roofing and Remodeling. Submitted a request online and had a call back the same morning with available appointments that afternoon or two afternoons later; both after 5:00pm, which I needed. I scheduled them for that day and Brent arrived on-time to take a look at our issues and give some feedback on a number of questions I had regarding our roof and future replacement. While there, he identified the source of the leaks and plugged them.....FREE of charge! Brent was exceptionally courteous, polite, and professional and went out of his way to take care of the known problems and look over the rest of our roof for any other leaks or damage. Obviously, they want my business when it comes time to replace our roof and theyll get the job on my rental property, too, when it comes time (in addition to finishing out our bonus room). The most important thing is that they WANTED my business and made the effort to get someone out same day, after hours, to assist with the immediate issue. Cant say the same for the other guys. Apparently, my job wasnt worth their time (in spite of all the 5-star reviews they have received). Couldnt be happier with the service from Christian Roofing and Remodeling and I HIGHLY recommend you choose them if trying to decide between the two "reputable", Watkinsville-based roofing and remodeling contractors. Youll be glad you did!

Christian Roofing and Remodeling offers good customer service (Brent is the roofing estimator we worked with), provides a reliable crew to do the work, and does a professional job with awareness of many of the short cuts other roofers take and current building codes for roofing. There were no nasty surprises, unexpected add on costs. Everything was on time and on budget, based on the quote and the information we were given before the job began. Everything is coordinated and communicated well, a fairly large crew (15 or so) comes in and does the work quickly with minimal inconvenience (you have to keep your cars out of their way for a day or two--and believe me, you will want to) and everything is reviewed and explained in detail after the job is complete. The crew-from the materials delivery to the workers, were consistently right on time if not early, were polite and had great attitudes, and were never nosy or intrusive when we were at home. The job took longer than expected due to more decking than usual needing to be replaced, but that is no fault of the crew or the company, and the crew worked past dark on the first night. Everything was left clean and neat after the job. The roof has been on for less than one week, and I actually look forward to the rain again!

do not waste your money on this company there are plenty of roofing contractors in Athens, avoid Christians roofing at all cost they are very rude when you confront them about over charging you over 2 thousand dollars for a simple job as well as refusing to refund me the money they took without saying they were going to they are frauds and huge scam artist please if i can help anyone from getting scammed by then ill be happy because its a huge hassle that no one needs to go threw especially in times like these right after a hurricane. real classy Christian roofing!
