We bought a house that had the roofing done by Lake Orion roofing (a few years before) and upon moving in had multiple leaks we had to take care of. We called Lake Orion Roofing to come out and fix them and they would just ignore us, or when we talked with them, lie to us. The only time they came out was to band aid one of the leaks. It was the owner and he has to ask me (remember this is a roofing company that should have their own supplies) if I had anything to stuff into the leaking hole. I had some extra shingles and caulk laying around so he used that to do a patch job. Later in the ordeal I went to their building and talked to the owner, Mark, in person and told him to make a claim to their liability insurance company (for the damage the leak caused). He said he did, but when my insurance company contacted their liability insurance company directly, they said he never made a claim. All he did was lie and/or ignore us to get out of their crappy work. We had months of repairs and crappy customer service that we had to deal with. Not a very good house warming gift. Please stay away from this company. Even if they give you a lower quote, its not worth it when your roof leaks and they wont back it up. Plus youll pay extra for damage caused by the terrible roof job.

I highly recommend Lake Orion roofing. Mark was very personable and a great guy to work with. No pressure ever. He came out and did a very thorough inspection and took pictures then put a very detailed proposal book together covering the components of a roof system, shingle options etc. and reviewed the photos of our roof where he noticed any problems with his proposed solutions. I appreciated that kind of detail. He even provided addresses of homes to go look at with the shingles we were interested in so that we can see them actually on a roof. Matt the foreman oversaw the team to complete the job in two days. Matt was very detailed oriented and extremely experienced. Matt went above and beyond to add Insulation with the blower machine in a couple places as I requested. I ask a lot of questions and both Mark and Matt did an excellent job answering them. Cleanup was excellent with almost no sign of them ever being there. Entire team was very friendly including the office staff.

This was the second time weve contracted with Lake Orion Roofing. We first used LOR at our starter home, back in the early 90s. We were completely satisfied with the job done then. When it came time to replace the roof at our next home, we were happy to find that Mark and LOR were still around. LOR did a complete tear-off and replacement for us back in October 16. Our second home is probably 4 times the size of our first. Again, they did a great job. I recently contacted Mark to solicit his expertise for an issue that was outside of the original scope of work. Within a couple of days, a technician came out and resolved the issue. I called Mark to thank him and asked what the charge would be. "No charge", he said! Mark came out right away when our roof got taken out by the terrible wind storm. He worked closely with our insurance company to get full coverage for replacement of the entire roof. Unfortunately, Mark had a personal injury accident that caused some hiccups in communication and an extreme delay on start (nearly 3 months). It was very difficult to get the project going, the crew no-showed for 3 days. Once we were able to contact the owner, Mark, the project got done. Mark made sure the project was done and compensated us accordingly. We appreciate his dedication to customer service and maintaining a quality company reputation.

I found Lake Orion roofing to be a thoroughly professional company. They explained the bid in detail. They answered all of our questions. The project began when promised and was completed to our satisfaction. Dale and Matt(the job foreman) had an excellent hardworking crew. Everyone knew their job and how to complete the project.We have a steep roof which required a tear off. After the project was completed, the clean up was excellent. This is the third roof that Ive had installed in my lifetime and it was the best experience that weve had. My son-in-law suggested Lake Orion because he was very happy with their work.

I would like to say thank you to Lake Orion Roofing they were very professional and honest and courteous they took care of everything from dealing with your insurance company so that the insurance company couldnt take advantage of you and when they said that they would be out to roof the house they were here and they completed the house in a timely manner and I could not be happier with Lake Orion Roofing and the whole team of people that work there and the contractor Matt and his team were outstanding I could not be happier.

The guys did a very thorough job of assessing the roof and evaluating what would be needed for the job and possible problems that might arise. They took a lot of detailed photos to show and had quotes for different grades of shingles. We were a little leery about going out to the office at first but once we got there decided it was worth the time and effort for all the information and they are definitely not a hard sell company just honest and upfront which is greatly appreciated

My house is the cutest house on the block now! They replaced my siding and trim and insulated and vented my roof. Mark and his team were great. The office team is great (hi Patty :-) and dealt with all the paperwork so I didnt have to worry about that side of things. The workers were very tidy and respectful. They communicated with me when dealing with timing and material deliveries. I would highly recommend them.

KARMA finally caught up. Lake Orion Roofings building is FOR SALE! They come on spit and polish professional with a sales binder full of articles, certifications, endorsements, etc. Sign the dotted line and all bets are off. I would NEVER recommend this company and God be with you if you do. Where there is smoke, theres fire.

Do not hire Lake Orion Roofing. Find someone else to do your roof. Our new roof started leaking within the warranty period. We contacted Lake Orion Roofing, and they were unresponsive. Now, I have leaking around.a recessed light in the bathroom. The warranty is over, so Im going to have to file an insurance claim.
