My family was struggling to figure out how to pay for the funeral of our mother, we were being giving privces from 9,000 to 12,000 dollars .me and my 2 younger sisters just didnt have that lying around ,so we were referred to Bowmont , Randy at Bowmont greeted us immediately ,unlike others who had us wait in a conference room,. He asked how the family was holding up during all this ,then after comforting us he began asking what we were looking for in the service ,which we told him our wishes ,he asked if we are on a budget which we were ,we told him what we could afford and without blinking an eye said we can do that.including working out the bill with another funeral home which we couldnt afford to go thru.Bowman picked my mom up ,paid the bill at the other place and brought her to there parlor .Randy called me daily to check things with me ,which was fantastic,.Randy stood at the door and opened it for every guest ,even when we were running in and out for 30 minutes greeting and socializing .Randy coordinated all the music we requested, did all the prayers , read things people had wrote ,cuz some of us couldnt bring ourselves to read, I could go on forever about how excellent their service is but just a couple things left ,They also stayed late for the viewing so we could get a family member there to see mom, and they also charged us a couple hundred less than quoted.So if you want a great funeral experience (which seems hard to say) go see Randy at Bowman and he will make it the best experience possible at a reasonable price , THANK YOU BOwMAN SPECIAL THANK YOU TO RANDY GREAT JOB THE ARVAI FAMILY

I can fully testify as to the wonderful services of Bowman. It is a family owned and family run business, and they treat family members of the deceased, as well as the deceased, as they would treat their own. I first met Gary Bowman upon the death of my dad. He was so caring and so wonderful. He picked up my dad in a van with a Boise State bumper sticker...little did he know what big fans we are. It was perfect. Then upon the death of my sister, again he came for her with the same grace, respect and caring. He is a sweet and compassionate man as he has taught his family to be as well. Most recently my mother has passed and without hesitation I have called my Bowman friends. Upon my passing, I have instructed my son that this is who I want to care for me. I give them ten...no countless...stars.

I have never met Gary Bowman, owner of Bowman Funeral Parlor, Nor have I ever used his services. Why the review, you ask? I received a call from my sister, a Lutheran pastor in Spokane. One of her parishioners had moved to Boise, ID to be closer to family. Services and burial were to be in Spokane, and she had purchased insurance. No funeral parlor in Spokane would cover her. Bowman Funeral Parlor did. Gary drove the deceased from Boise to Spokane. Rarely do you see an example of doing the right thing for the right reasons. If I ever need funeral services Bowman Funeral Parlor would be who I would turn to.
