Came in with a check engine light, left with a new one. The staff wasnt concerned in the slightest. In fact, the technician, Mark said his wife has had one on her vehicle for years. Had I known he cared so little for his wife, and her vehicle, I would have happily taken my $2000+ repair business elsewhere. I also needed a great deal of suspension work done, shocks, struts, and control arms. These were also one of the primary reasons for the repair. My Volvo sounded like a covered wagon crossing the prairie, noisy with every bump. They replaced one side, but not the other and I had to return it the following week for more repairs, at my expense. Not to mention they had the vehicle for over three days on the first visit. They also replaced the water pump and timing belt, which the vehicle needed. The problem now is, they did it improperly! Can you believe it? I can. Luckily, they offer a two year/24,000 mile warranty. A warranty I have to exercise in my new home town in Nevada, before I can register my vehicle. The state wont register a vehicle with a check engine light, and since Mark misaligned the camshaft when he improperly installed the timing belt, I get to be without my car again for at least a day. The poor folks at the next Napa Auto center get to take the whole thing apart, to fix his half ass repair job. A situation I brought to their attention, and his response was "but its running OK, right?". Having delayed my move across country for a week, I didnt have the confidence or time to deal with these people any longer. So here I am in vehicle limbo, yet again. The manager, Kelly has the backbone of a jellyfish, as he was more concerned about his receptionist, Ashley ripping him a new one for their poor performance, over properly repairing automobiles. Ashley was actually the only redeeming attribute of this establishment, and Ashley, if you read this, please find a new job, working with competent individuals, you dont have to clean up after, if you havent already. Good luck. Edit: Russell (owner) went above and beyond to make amends to this situation, and I am grateful for it. I hope this was a learning lesson for his staff. Thank you Russell. Changed to four stars.

Very courteous group of employees working at the business. They treated me very fairly and prices for service seemed fair as well. I did, however, have a couple problems with the quality of repair services. 1) I had to return the vehicle 2 additional times because initial repair was not fixed. In total, the vehicle was at the shop 3 times for the same repair. I only paid for the 1st visit but, it was a inconvenience and a frustration taking the vehicle back the two additional times. 2) On a separate repair, I supplied tires (because my tires are unique in size). The tires are directional and to be mounted one way. I tried to assist by letting them know the specific mounting instructions when I dropped off the vehicle. Auto Motion mounted the tires incorrectly and their balance machine was not able to balance larger 22" factory wheels. In fairness they werent aware that they couldnt balance 22" wheels until they tried mine and, they did not charge for balancing. However, I was disappointed that the tires were mounted incorrectly even following my assisted instructions (the tires also have mounting instructions on the side wall). My mounting notes were on the service repair when I received the repair synopsis. I had to take the vehicle to Clay Dooley the following day (Saturday) and pay to have the tires remounted (again) and balanced. I did not want to go through the frustration of taking the truck back to Auto Motion to have the tires remounted when they wouldnt have been able to balance them.

I keep coming back here for a reason, and that reason is superb service. Recently, I had an issue with my car not starting when I turned the key. It was intermittent, so it made it hard to pin down the cause. I took it to Automotion and they originally said that it was the battery. I got a new battery somewhere else, honestly just because it was cheaper. After a few days however, the issue started up again. I took it back into Automotion and this time they figured out that the chip in my keys was malfunctioning and causing it to not work properly. After discovering this, they worked with the NIssan dealership to get replacement keys for me. When I went in to pick them up, they informed me that they had taken care of the cost, were going to refund me for diagnostic fee I paid when they told me the battery was the issue, AND refunded me for the cost of the battery, even though I got it from another company! They also threw in a free oil change for me and apologized repeatedly for the original misdiagnosis. This was all without me asking for compensation or anything, they just took it upon themselves to go above and beyond to make things right. The key issue is pretty obscure and my battery was getting old, so I m really not surprised that they would have assumed that was the issue. Was it inconvenient? Sure. Did they make up for it? Absolutely, and then some! Recommend them 100%

Overall not a bad experience. The staff was friendly and explained everything clearly to me, all options were laid out for me to decide from with no pressure. Turnaround time was good. I called Wesnesday and had new tires, rear shocks, and fresh oil by closing time Thursday. A few things not to my liking: 1. I found the pricing high. Front struts on our van were quoted twice what others gave me. Luckily they werent needed right away. 2. New tires were not inflated properly. Our vans specs call for 35lb but noticed they were only at 29-30lb after driving off. I have my own compressor so was able to fix; not a huge deal. 3. No dedicated coutesy vehicle to give customers a ride and their loners were out. I had to get a ride home from another customer who just happened to be there and was willing. Courtesy rides are standard practice at 99% of all shops out there. This should be fixed. In the end Auto Motion will be a backup to my main mechanic if theyre too busy and need to get something done.

Called Auto Motion for a clutch issue with my sons Porshe Boxster, wasnt sure they would work on it. Anyway, reception was friendly and helpful. Told me indeed they do work on them. Service Manager called me back quickly. Was able to estimate the job based on my issue and I was surprised to hear they could get it done in the same week. Anyway, the communication was excellent, they ordered the parts in and within the week they had it ready to go. Estimate was on target and reasonable, and comparable to what is typical for the problem we had. I would highly recommend them for any of your service needs. Mechanics in the garage when we picked it up were professional and friendly as well. Had a bit of a battery issue and they took care of that while we waited. Great shop, reasonably priced, great communication, friendly service. Warranty on the work. Thanks

We are new to town and Auto-Motion was recommended for an "older car, out of warranty". Called Auto-Motion at 9:00 with a car that was dead in the driveway. It was running when wife got home the night before, but would not start when she tried to run an errand later. I Knew it was an electrical issue and I know how hard they can be to diagnose. Had car towed to Auto-motion and they had problem diagnosed by 1:30 and fixed by the end of the day. To my own amazement there was no mention of a bad ECM which is usually the first place people that really dont know what they are doing go. These folks found the problem and fixed it for a reasonable price. I will have no problems sending them any work I have in the future.
