STAY AWAY I visited this repair shop for a simple inspection which cost 25.00 and it required the removal of my tires to measure brake pad thickness. you would think it is a simple job to do. I had a bad feeling so I was watching the whole process from outside of the bay. Technician failed to properly set up the lift and it was bending my running boards on my truck, luckily no damage arose from that, failed to remove wheel center caps, which then he proceeded to use a impact wrench to remove lug nuts, by doing that his impact socket was too close to center cap and it ended up destroying the paint finish on the center caps. Technician then put the wheels back on the truck and used same impact wrench to tighten the lug nuts, and lowered the vehicle, then he showed me how he will use a torque wrench set to 100 foot pounds to tighten the lug nuts. My vehicle wheel torque spec is 81ft lbs. I seen him torque the wheel lug nut and one of them he kept going at over and over, to me it looked like he stripped the threads, to my surprise he was all done and he was going to pull out the vehicle as if nothing happened. They were just going to let me go like that. I confronted him about this issue and his replay was like which nut??? sure enough he broke the wheel stud in half. Keep in mind this is not an old vehicle it has 23K miles on it. The person behind the counter he insisted that it was do to my fault and wanted me to pay for the damage they done, I said no and was instructed to show up the following day to get it repaired free of charge, new wheel stud and a nut from a oem source not aftermarket, I showed up and wanted them to describe how the work would be performed and they got upset. I was told by one individual to get the heck out. I have all the pictures from the whole incident, including all the damage done. The owner contacted me over the phone and he stated that he will not be responsible for the damages to the center caps but just to the wheel stud and lug nut. $25 service ended up doing $280 in damages. Please find your self a small mechanic shop near you and go there, somebody that you can trust. Thank you for you time. ps. they do not deserve not even on star but I had to use one to post this review.
