Life savers and didnt rip me off either - I promised that the first thing I would do when I opened my now repaired laptop would be to review Computer Repairs so here goes. I am at a conference in Chicago from the UK - on day 2 of 6 my CPU fan blew. I went to Best Buys and they said it would take 4-6 weeks to send out to be fixed and that it would cost as much as getting a new laptop. Presumably that is their sales pitch. I was quite happy with my broken laptop (other than that it was broken) and didnt want the hassle of transferring everything over - including all the programs (I couldnt remember which programs I had anyway). I got a cab down to 711 Belmont dropped off the computer and picked it up within 48 hours fixed. The cost was nowhere near that of a new computer - the staff were brilliant - friendly, offered to bring the laptop back to me, and when I asked them to clean the inside they didnt try and rip me off by charging me for it - they were honest enough to say that they would be doing that anyway. I cant fault this service - am I related you may ask? Simple answer is no - just desperate to get my laptop back when I really needed it. And, by the way - I hardly ever write reviews so may this be a further indication of how impressed I was

I dropped off my laptop to just get the data from it because I thought it was going to be expensive to repair it. My Dell laptop was 5 years old and I did not want to spend too much money fixing it. But the were able to fix it for me for the price I would have paid to recover my data out of my laptop. They told me my computer is still good for another 3 or 4 years and that they would fix it for me for the price I would have paid to just get my data. I am happy I went there and will definitely call them again if I needed help with my computer.

I accidentally spilled coffee on my Apple Macbook 2 days ago. The keyboard was messed up at first but then to my surprise, the computer stopped working. I freaked out and I started calling around places. I decided to take it to the 711 W Belmont store for repair after talking to Al for about 15 minutes. They succeeded in repairing the logic board and my mac worked like a charm. Very happy with the service and will definitely recommend them.

My computer caught a nasty virus and Al came up and picked up my laptop and brought it back fixed to my Palatine office within 48 hours. My laptop was faster than ever. I have not seen it this fast since it was brand new. I do recommend this computer repair service for the quality of work and convenience. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others as well.
