Wish I could choose ZERO stars...Just bought a 100 yr old door (at a salvage yard) for my 100 yr old house in the Beverly neighborhood and decided to use Morgan Locksmith to rekey and rehab the original mortise lock. It was expensive but the young man who did most of the work - Jim - was competent and pleasant. When I returned to have the spindle cut down (as per JIMS instructions) another gentleman who works at Morgan Locksmith -BILL (later found out Bills the owner) - told me it wasnt necessary to cut the spindle, he didnt want to look at the pictures I took and I quote "...go get yourself a man to help you." Yes Im a woman and yes the spindle still needs to be cut down Bill. Because Marty and the DeLorean forgot to bring Morgan Locksmith back to the future, I paid almost $200 to be insulted. Still cant use the lock. Bill - its not the Big Box Stores that are putting you out of business, its your "winning" personality and your dark, dusty store with its 50 year old merchandise. Stay away from Morgan Locksmith.

Ive used Morgan Locksmiths for over 20 years. In the late 90s and early 2000s I used them for a ton of commercial jobs for AT&T buildings. They always did clean and professional work. Very good people working there and very good attitudes. You get what you pay for with these guys. You pay for quality work, from Locks to safes, to emergency exit door installation... Theyve done it all for me over the years and they do it well.

not only can they make keys, but if you have a lock that needs to be fixed, they can fix it. they also carry a bunch of locks and accessories for old doors and windows that you cant find anywhere else. I have been a customer for over 10 years and dont mind driving the 9 miles to get what I need there.
