Its a nice gym considering the amount of space they had to work with. I love that its 24 hours since I work odd hours. The staff is so-so.. some employees are super nice and others just dont care. My biggest complaint would have to be how I was mislead when I signed up. I was told that if I paid for a more expensive membership that I would be able to go to other locations like the full gym in Chicago Ridge. Yet when I asked later I was told that Id have to get a separate membership with the location in Chicago Ridge! Plus I signed up with a personal training who was completely incompetent - she forgot about our first meeting and actually scheduled someone else for the same time. The other person was cool with it and we ended up having a nice workout together but I was still rather upset about it. The real kicker was that my trainer was more concerned about my shoes then actually helping me work out. Every session shed just go ON and ON and ON about how I needed new shoes . Yes my shoes were a little worn out but they in no way inhibited my ability to workout nor did they smell nor did my toes poke out of holes or anything. The heels were just worn down! I was so fed up with her that I just stopped going to the gym period out of embarrassment for a while. Ive started going again and just workout on my own but ugh! Seriously! Some people cant afford everything. I spent my savings on getting a crappy personal trainer instead of new clothes. A decision I regret. So what Im trying to say is that the gym its self is decent for the price and convenient for its hours. Just dont expect much from the staff.

I wish I could give lower than 1 star. I work in sales, so I understand exactly how commission based sales work, which is why I believe my sales rep lied to me about the paperwork I was signing. During the almost hour sign up process that I took to make sure I understood every stipulation that this gym had for fees, I was told very clearly that my membership was going to include a one time sign up fee (around $69) which included my first, and last month for $9.99, and there would be no annual maintenance fee, and no fee to cancel, which is why I even considered signing up in the first place. Fast forward to a month or so later and I walk in to cancel after realizing this gym just isnt for me (no towels since its express, one of the dirtiest gyms Ive been to, and some of the machines are definitely not in top shape). Im told I have to cancel between the hours of 10-6 (surprise, I have a job) and there would be a $10 cancellation fee. Today I got charged a $49.99 annual maintenance fee, and while trying to cancel over the phone, the fax number they require to have the cancellation paper faxed to doesnt even answer, and they take absolutely no responsibility for the rep that gave bad information. This gym should be avoided at all costs, spend the money on going to a real gym, you wont regret it.

Marisela is useless. She should not be in management. I originally signed up for 4 training sessions @$45/mo, I told them I could not start until January due to a scheduled vacation. January 2nd I called to start my training session, they could not find a me trainer for several weeks (I need nights). I have only had 2 sessions to date, however, they charged me the original 1st (Jan) & last months ($39.90) and Feb. ($19.95) plus all 4 training sessions @ $45 ($180.00) for a total of $239.85 deducted from my account in one month in time. ARE YOU SERIOUS. If I knew I would be robbed of $239.85 in one months time I would have NEVER signed up with XSTORT. When discussing this with Marisela, she was unconcerned and quickly told me to call the 800 number. Customer service is obviously not her speciality. I am an Sales person and meet/see alot of people daily. I will be a walking billboard DO NOT JOIN X STORT FITNESS unless you want to keep your wallet open for them to freely take monies out of you bank account.

My business walked out the door... I didnt have an ID and wanted to do a 7day trial with the gym. I printed off the pass online for both myself and my spouse. Mind you I came with my spouse who had a valid ID everyone doesnt have a state ID and it couldve been multiple reasons why I didnt have an ID.. if both me and spouse was interested in joining this gym this was a bad first customer experience. I was told bc I didnt have Id I couldnt use my 7day pass. You turned down business walking through the door and thats bad for business. I rate 1 star because of the poor customer service experience that couldve been handled differently especially if my spouse and I was planning to join unfortunately bc of this situation I might take my business else were. Its unfortunate. I also stay miles away and didnt get my workout. Ty for such the poor experience XSPORT FITNESS EXPRESS OF CRESTWOOD.

Its a standard gym although dont go by the 22 pictures on their webite since half of them are from other Xsport Fitness facilities, for example this particular gym doesnt have a Woodway treadmill or upstairs, its an Express gym. It gets too packed and there is barely room to navigate during your typical peak hours (M-Th 4-7pm), so if you want your space join the non-express Xsport fitness. The general manager (Steve West) does a "great job," he is in the trenches cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, mopping the floors asking members if everything is OK, very interactive and approachable unlike other Xsport gyms. *UPDATE 1/8/16: Before deciding on a gym I would "STRONGLY" recommend trying out the other gyms close by LA Fitness/Alsip literally up the street 1.5 miles away (North) and Charter Fitness/Midlothian down the street 1.5 miles away (South).

I went in with a 7 day free pass; however, their "salesmen" (worse than the worst cars sales men) would not let me work out without signing up. Whats the point of offering this free pass if you will not let the customers try your gym out? The more I told him "no thank you" the more he pushed the membership. He actually let me leave because I refused to sign up for a membership right there. The most ignorant and rude situation I have ever been through. Needless to say, Charter Fitness gained a membership specifically because I was able to try the equipment out before I signed up and they didnt have hound dogs as "salesmen".

for the number of times i have been there, its pretty ok. i like the idea of not having to write a letter to cancel my membership. i will be able to walk in, fill out a form, and thats that. you can still work out 30 days after you cancel. the guys are pretty nice in there. the strength training class on saturdays is great. the lady who leads the class is tiny as a button, but shes in great shape, and is very sweet. i saw results (as did others) of my physic, even though i didnt frequent there was much as i would have liked to. i would say decent enough to join if you are in a mile or so radius of that gym.
