Ive been to 4 gyms in this franchise: Lincolnwood (prior to the its grand opening), Washington Square, Chatham and Evergreen Park. None of these facilities compare to the awesomeness that is Planet Fitness - Little Village (owned by a different franchisee). The difference is in the details - "glass shower doors" vs stalls, shower shelving vs. "your body wash will be on the floor," changing rooms vs. changing stalls, full length dressing mirror vs nothing, and, water bottle fountains vs manual water fountains. Coupled with less than professional staff at 2 of the 4 locations, I avoided this group like a plague. And then life necessitated me to choose between Planet Fitness Chatham and Planet Fitness Evergreen Park as my home gym. Chatham has broken equipment. No one seemed to care either. Really - how is the bolt missing from the floor plate of the leg press? Does no one do equipment maintenance? I wouldnt go to that gym if someone paid me. So how does Planet Fitness Evergreen Park earn 4 stars? Two words: Lewon Johnson. Hes the best Planet Fitness trainer Ive engaged. His PE classes are challenging yet fun. He crafts workouts based on his group. He takes the time to know everyone he works with by name. (Side bar - Vic at Planet Fitness Little Village is good as well. ) He honestly should be the global manager of the PE program at PF to teach all trainers to create his magic. If he leaves, Ill probably leave too/ change memberships unless he can teach someone to do what he does as well as he does it.

Upon the new Manager Mr. Daniel being transferred from the Chatham location, he has attempted to teach and educate and re-train the young generation of young people that works at this location to administer high quality and exceptional customer service, which was a serious problem under the leadership of the previous manager. I have made several complaints to cooperate in that regard and it is slightly being adjusted but needs improvement!!! I guess you receive quality customer service based on the pay rate of the staff!!!

I absolutely enjoy working out at this facility. My favorite location thus far. The entire staff members are incredibly welcoming and very approachable . Despite the ongoing construction surrounding the building, management has done a great job with keeping the facility clean and presentable for its clients. Welcoming Manager Daniel back to Evergreen Park, im almost for sure going forward this location is going to be even greater than it already is. Great Job!

This gym is not 24 hours anymore. Close at 9 on weekdays and 7 on weekends. Its bigger than it needs to be. Ive gotten more chit chat than assistance from the people behind the counter in the 2-3 years ive had the membership. My heart rate is always increased just by making the trip west down 95th (the only way I can get to it really) Its a planet fitness so its a comfortable place to workout still.

Employees are a lil rude. Came in to cancel membership literally stood there for 30 seconds waiting for someone to greet me after 2of 3 of the staff at the desk looked dead at me while i was walking up, and was then told i have to wait 10-15 min for them to close the registers, meanwhile u have 2 other employees doin absolutely nothing and the other doing a good job at pretending like she was buzzy!!

First of all the price is great better than any other jam in the area you can bring a friend anytime the only complaint that is recently they have shortened hours on the weekend supposedly because of low traffic at the gym on weekends and Nights but honestly isnt that the best time to go to the gym when its empty but other than that Planet Fitness is pretty great

Gym is great but some of the equipment needs maintenance. This location has a barber but its not good service, Im a black card member and I felt like I was treated as a nonmember. I definitely wont be getting my hair cut by him again. I might even end my membership.

The Staff is very friendly , but there are broken lockers in the Mens Locker room also some of the machines you cant raise or lower the seats because the latch is broken . I vist different clubs all over I never noticed any broken equipment.

I like the location and its the largest Planet Fitness Ive ever been to. Weak massage beds.No WI-FI unlike some locations! Staff is laid back... Otherwise cool gym. But when cold weather is outside it gets very cold in the locker/restrooms.

Danielle Edwards was very professional at her job. She was very thorough in explaing her gym. Covered every little detail. And finished off by making me feel at home. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Great place to workout. They are in the process of remodeling but I love the ambience. They is a mixed crowd so you dont feel intimidated working out or changing there. Glad to be a member.

This location is just as bad as Chatham or worse. Insincere staff, sneaky and creepy. Again, I would not be surprised if they are purchasing good reviews. No way is this a 5 star facility.

I love it here! Staff is nice and relatable. Manager is helpful and down to earth! Very understandable! Large area! Bathrooms are clean! Curl bars are needed and more stair masters

The place is will clean and quiet and plus they half the right machine that deals with parts of your body that you want to upgrade also the employees are very nice and negotiable

Cant argue with the price, theres some wear and tear on some of the machines that need to be replaced, also the gym can get mobbed during busy hours right after work.

No HEAT in the locker rooms for over a month....WTF !! Machines dont get fixed even after I pointed it out to big bosses. Staff cant do it and dont care ..

Huge. Great service. First 24hr gym on the southside. You cant beat the price. Spa,baber,massage, personal trainer,bring a friend for free!
