Great gym since it is big. It does not get over packed. There are many machines so you do not have to wait in line for machines. Personal Training, Womens Only Area, Babysitting, and Group Exercise Classes are available! You can also bring a guest but depending which membership you have. If you download the app "Blast Fitness Clubs," you are able to earn and redeem points. For example, getting a month free or getting a free personal training session once you reach the points to redeem them. There are many options of which membership you want rather than just have two. Children of the years 12-18 can workout with a doctors note saying they are allowed to workout which is great! There are some fees such as a late fee or service charge, but if you are up to date with your payments, you will not get them. Friendly front desk, you can ask them anything and they will be willing to help :) Also, if you do not want to get a membership just yet but want to try it out, there is a free guest pass for three consecutive days. You get the free guest pass by downloading the Blast Fitness Clubs app.

The gym is just OK. Bathrooms and floor areas are often poorly kept. Many machines do not work and are not replaced/repaired in a timely manner. Also, beware of the $49.99 annual fee. If you need to cancel and have paid this already, they will not offer a prorated refund. I had to cancel two weeks after I paid this because of a move and they would not provide any refund whatsoever.

I just signed up today and was very happy with my overall experience from the customer service, follow up, trainer check in, and, of course, the workout itself. The trainers are all great and the equipment is really nice.Another big thing for me is, cleanliness. This facility was very clean, fully stocked, and all equipment was working.

Gets the job done. Cardio machines always available (when not out of order), private womens weight section, ropes, medicine balls, kettle bells and pilates/spin classes are definite pros. Cons... womens bathroom could use better upkeep and at least a bigger garbage can. I must say though, that the staff is always friendly and helpful!

The gym is nice but unfortunately the second week after I signed up my belongings were stolen from the locker room. I have learned to come dressed and not use the locker room to store my belongings while I workout. Even with a lock on my locker it was broken into and my stuff was stolen. They need better lockers and more security.

I love going here its clean & cleanliness is very important to me seeing how I went to another blast and it had a horrible smell and half the machines didnt work... The staff members are respectful and nice.. The daycare is cool and the girls are gentle and caring... But they could use a jack ladder & a stair master.

For the second time this month the gym is still not open at 8am on a Sunday when its supposed to open at 7am. I am actually waiting in the parking lot as I write this. Many people have come, waited, and left. This place is otherwise decent for the price when its actually open.

Great gym! Affordable and close to home. The Group X classes are fun and the instructors are awesome. The staff is friendly and the manager Shanika is very personable and approachable. Id recommend this gym to anyway looking to get in shape while saving a few dollars.

Basic workout place with no perks. The machines are often dirty and dusty and you cannot hear the tvs on any of the machines. But if you just want to run on the treadmill or elliptical and lift weights, its ok for the price.

Great gym. Way larger and more (and new) equipment and better rates then other gyms in the area..including wicker park/bucktown. Friendly staff and locker rooms with showers. never a wait for anything and open early and late

Great gym to get GAINZZ at. Clean and very spacious. Staff are very nice and kind. No issues with my contract or money wise. Personal trainers are knowledgeable. And so many beautiful people. I recommend joining.
