Im very ignorant to mechanical things, they not only told me I didnt need an oil change yet after the sticker from the previous shop (Valvoline in Sycamore) I went to low balled my miles by a few thousand, but also pointed out an up charge Valvoline stuck me with that seemed very odd. A few weeks later, my battery died in a parking lot. They said a tow truck would cost $65, I agreed to pay it. The truck came, they assessed that the battery was at the end of its life based on mileage and age of the vehicle, jumped the battery so I could drive it to the shop, and Im pretty sure they didnt even charge me for them coming to my rescue after they replaced the battery for me. They take great care of you, are very nice, will be very honest about everything you need serviced, and are very accommodating. Ill recommend CAR Hospital to anyone.

I took my Volkswagen Passat here yesterday when it refused to start during the sub arctic weather weve had this past week. Within an hour of me contacting Bill on a Friday, the day after Christmas, he had a tow truck in my driveway. The tow truck driver was extremely friendly and treated the car gently even though it was buried in ice. Throughout the day, Bill called me to let me know what he found, the price, and to get my permission to proceed with repairs. I was happy to hear that it was merely a flooded engine with some shorted spark plugs rather than the fuel pump as Id suspected. I also had him replace the exhaust. Merlin quoted me $300. Bill did it for $150. The car purrs like a kitten and runs like a champ. I will not go anywhere else after this. Thanks Bill and friends!

They fixed my car... ($123.00) when I left it broke down/died as I pulled out of their parking lot. (It obviously wasnt fixed.) They fixed it a second time (over $700.00 more). Then it needed a control arm, right axle, and sway bar link. They tried to charge me almost $1,000.00 more for that. I told them "no" and had Milex Mr. Transmission pick up my car. Suddenly the cost was lowered to around $700.00 (wow, how did that happen). They were trying to rip me off since I live out of town and was desperate. They lost my trust and my business for life, not to mention unhappy customers spread the word. Their greed wasnt worth it, thats how businesses go out of business. We vote with our money!

Incredible customer service, fast, accurate and so worth it. Very thorough with their check up pictures and all, def made me feel like I matter as a single individual. It was my first time there and it wont be my last, I needed all 4 brakes changed my brakes were already eating at the metal and I was worried wherever I went I would have to wait a couple of days to get those changed, I live 1h away from work so paying $136 for uber back and forth was just too painful I came here in the morning and left my car, prices were fair and service was done on site same day. They even ask me if I needed a ride back home, very thoughtful.

This is the second time I have used the CAR Hospital in the last several months and received excellent service both times. They are extremely friendly over the phone and in person...they make you feel like they actually care about you and your car! They got me in for appointments right away, offered to drive me to my daughters house in DeKalb to wait, and kept me posted on their findings in my car before proceeding with any work. My son-in-law recommended them to me because he has been so satisfied with their service, so I drive 50 miles round trip to bring my car here but it is worth it to find an auto shop that I can trust.

Over the years Bill Whites car hospital has always taken good care of us. They provide honest and fair service. Weve checked prices and they are always comparable to other repair places. They also only do the work required to get our vehicle working properly, the do not try to force unneeded (or even needed) repairs on us. They also provide a shuttle van to get me home or to work while my car is in the shop. We have been very happy with our experience with them. On top of all of that, they are just pleasant to work with.

I took my car there. At the beginning it seemed to be a good service but then when they could not find the real problem they said it was best to take it to the dealer since they were going to spend too much time diagnosing and they were not sure whether they would be able to fix it. They sent me satisfaction surveys and a letter that said they were going to be more than pleased to solve anything going on with the car though in reality nothing of this actually happened. I had to find another place to have my car fixed.

Weve been taking our vehicles to BWCH for years for everything from oil changes and brakes to rusted out under panels (I"m sure thats NOT what they are called). Up until yesterday, Ive never been stranded and needed a tow. A quick call to BWCH and Bill himself was there within minutes. Everyone at BWCH is knowledgeable and friendly - and willing to do whatever is necessary to get you back safely on the road again. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing! Thanks again!

I have maintenance of my car done at Car Hospital several times. The staff are nice and professional and explain the car problems in a way that I can understand. They would give me a ride to my office after I drop off my car and pick me up after my car is ready. That was very convenient for me . And the repair and maintenance costs are more affordable compared to Toyota dealer I used. I would definitely come back for my car service in the future.

This is the greatest place to take your car. I took my car to another place and they told me I needed $600.00 dollars worth of repairs. I took their sheet to Bill Whites Car Hospital and I only needed $60.00 worth of repairs. They fix what needs to be fixed and they make you feel like family. Great Place!!!!!!! The only down fall is they are not open on the weekends but I can over look that because they do such a great job.

They are the best. Alex in particular has been very helpful in finding a right part for my car at a right price understanding my situation.
