Every single time I go to this place I love my experience. All the ladies there are very friendly always making you feel welcome. They listen to what you need and provide honest feedback when you are unsure of what to try. I have done some drastic color changes in my hair and it is still healthy and the color does not fade. I have gotten multiple compliments on my hair from friends, coworkers and family and I owe that great feeling to my great salon. I love Cutting Edge 54!

I live rather far from this establishment, but believe me when I tell you it is worth the drive. Jessica the owner has added a wonderful new twist to this establishment. A lil of old school with new school. She makes you feel right at home. If you’re looking for a salon that has all that you need including that family & friend atmosphere this is the place to go. You will walk out a different person. LOOKING CUTE & SEXY..

This is one of the (very) few places that does sugaring outside of Downtown Chicago. The girl who does it here is very nice and good at what she does but getting scheduled with her can be challenging because she seems to not be available very often and/or has cancelled on me before.
