Horrible customer service. Never a polite greeting, never a genuine thank you, nothing from most of the staff. They just want you in and out so they can move on to the next customer. I usually go to Bharti (who is actually quite sweet, unlike the rest of the staff, and amazing with eyebrows), however the last couple of times she had been busy or out of town. I just asked to see whoever was there. The last time I went in, I asked to have my lip and eyebrows threaded. The eyebrows were done quite well, however the lady sped through my lip and barely got any of the hair out. I politely asked her to do it again and she rolled her eyes and did so for about 10 seconds before announcing that it was finished. I took the mirror and, surprise surprise, there was still hair all over. Again, I politely smiled, said thank you, and asked her to please remove the remaining hairs. She gave me a look of death and started threading hard, fast, and so carelessly that she even caught my nose in the thread. Really? Ive been threaded for years and this has never happened to me. Even though it was quite obvious that I was in pain, she never apologized and acted as if I was a burden upon her. Im paying you for this, remember? I understand that this is supposedly the best threading salon in the western suburbs, however that does not give the staff the right to be rude and careless. Regardless of her behavior, I politely said thank you, paid, and even tipped her. When I handed her the tip, she snatched it from me hand, said a quick thank you, and called for the next customer. So incredibly disappointed and even disgusted with this behavior. Ive heard that Beauty Trendz on Janes Ave. is quite good, I think Ill start giving them my business from now on.

Ive been going here for almost 20 years, and I love it. Ive watched it grow from a tiny place to the salon it is now. Great prices, the best threading ever, and it was here before threading was a "thing" in the US. They really know how to do it. Love the place, and it is a great way for lots of women to have work doing something they learned at home. I have been threaded all around the world, but now I wait until I am back in Chicago to go here, because they are better than any other place I have been.

The customer service is bad. Previously when I went, most of the front desk persona are rude, dont answer our questions directly. I had just called in for appointment, and a person named Meena was pretty rude on the other side of the phone ; I was surprised especially when I was talking extremely politely from my side. I quite hurt by the way they have responded for a simple call to get an appointment. The service itself is pretty decent although the front desk persons havent been (with me so far)

They are always friendly. I have been gong here for 17 years or so. I just went last week after not having gone for a year and noticed there is a new receptionist. She seemed to be more interested in her phone but then again it was very slow when I went in so maybe she was bored. But the ladies that do the eyebrow threading have always been very nice. The massages are great and the hair services are great as well. Overall great service.

I wrote out a check to a lady who waxed my legs. She was incredibly nice. I wrote the check and the receptionist collected it. She asked rudely if I was going to tip her, of course I was going to tip her, but the receptionist had no business saying that to me. The tipping was between she and me and no one else. The receptionist needs to learn manners, she inconsiderate and treats customers like they are nothing.

I am very happy with the waxing here. The only thing I dont like might seem petty, but Ill mention it. Im a generous tipper, but PREFER, as a rule, to tip the person who actually performs the service. For me, the amount of the tip might correspond with the quality of the service. Anyway, at this salon, the tip always just gets taken by the person who is at the front desk, and "thrown in a jar". So why over tip?

Ive been coming to this establishment for a couple of years now, the personnel are quiet but I know they are doing a great job on the service I request from waxing to facials. I like that they are not as expensives as other places and close to my job so I can go quickly at lunch time and return to work ontime.

I have only come here for eyebrow threading, and they always do an excellent job for an excellent price. Dont expect them to be very sweet, smiling or chatty... thats not their way. But DO expect them to do a superb job on whatever service you order. Those ladies know what theyre doing - true professionals.

I got my eyebrows threaded! Ive been getting my eyebrows threaded for years. I tried this place they made me bleed it was pretty painful. I also got a manicure the worst paint job ever! Will not be back.

You cant beat their eyebrow threading prices! $7. Totally worth it. I have never felt any pain, which I have experienced with other establishments that offer threading.

Unsterile wax. They use a roller wax for every wax rather than using a disposable popsicle stick. That cross contamination is unimaginable. Will not return.
