Terrible post office. Dont go here with hope of receiving any kindness or help whatsoever, very rude lazy woman working. I went to drop off a few packages with postage already on them, and the rude woman working told me to "throw them in the bin" without scanning them or double checking I had the postage. I asked her if she could verify that I had paid for enough postage, and she said "we dont do that here, throw them in the bin" (ok yes, there is a sign about not giving a receipt for this). The "bin" was located behind the desk and I couldnt reach it so I literally threw them into the box, but apparently it was the wrong one and she snapped at me saying "no the other bin". Wtf, how would I possibly know which mailing bin they should go in? I left with my boxes in the bin unscanned, but returned 15 minutes later to take them back since I had a terrible feeling about them being lost without proof of me dropping them off. She made me reach way over the desk to take them out myself (why she couldnt do her job, Im not sure). I could have stolen many other packages and walked out or done so accidentally if I mindlessly didnt check the labels. Seems very unprofessional and strange to make customers file and retrieve their packages on their own without supervision. I took my boxes elsewhere and they scanned them, told me I DID need a couple dollars more postage and provided me with a receipt.

This IS the worst post office Ive ever been to. Not only was the help slow and rude when I was there, I called to question why my package hadnt been delivered but didnt have my receipt with a tracking number anymore. The jerk of lady basically said there is nothing I could do. Of course I know this cant be true so I kept questioning until she finally gave me an 800 number. The main office said the Evanston office could look up my transaction through my debit number which would have my tracking number, so I called back. They have pushed back saying how difficult that is and they are busy all while still not helping. Apparently "busy" losing packages. I gave them more than 3 days before trying again and they still havent gotten to my issue. They are the absolute worst!!! Basically their attitude is they dont like their job and are as least helpful as possible because anything more than that would require some sort of effort. I feel embarrassed that I used them and even more frustrated by the day. Meanwhile my package is nowhere to be found, so can probably chalk it up that their incompetent staff and managers lost it.

Very enjoyable. This may be a small post office & has only 1 employee but her main concern is customer service. She wants to concentrate on the customer right in front of her and make it a pleasant experience. Shes friendly and efficient. You may have to wait so if you dont like that, go to a different post office. For the size of this place, its ridiculous to think this office should have another employee. Go to the Davis st post office and wait longer with multiple but unfriendly employees!

Totally redic that place. ALWAYS understaffed. Uspostal service - Put some staff in that location. The ones that work here, are overworked and unfriendly. Always with a bad attitude. Once someone has more than one letter the line gets backed up out the door. Never again, ups store here I come.

This is the closest post office to me. I can ride my bike up here which is nice. One thing is, every time I come here, there is only one person working the counter, which makes waiting in line longer. It would be nice to have another person working there to make things go faster.

Unbelievable !! Rude stuff who wont listen nor doing their job good. You have to wait at least 40 minutes because they have only one employee. No advice, no help and of course no hello or good bye. Will never ever go back there !

They got one star for just picking up the phone, then as soon as she heard "passport questions", cut me off , put me on hold, then disconnect. I wonder what happens if someone at private sector does this to customers?

I like this post office. You might have to wait because there is only one employee, but I find the service friendly and helpful. I always pick this one instead of the one on Main or Devon.

The employees are very nice, but they are often understaffed. This is a popular post office, and the line can grow quite long during lunch hours and after work hours.
