Something has happened at the place since the last ratings have been posted. The much complained about manager, Mike, has stepped out of the family business. It took a while to get the present manager who seems to be doing just okay. I have been a customer since the first few months and return for a wash for 1 car pretty regularly and the other car rarely. It is an upscale sports car so I prefer to hand wash it without using a brush on anything except the tires. Both cars have been detailed and waxed at this place. I have also recommended family and friends to get their cars detailled...BUT...I always use a coupon...always. The long time crew is gone. The replacements are not a solid unit and most times all have new faces. This is not a good thing...even at a car wash. Both my cars are high performance models with manual transmissions. It seems that few young immigrants know how to drive anthing but an automatic. I sometimes have reservations as I leave the car as it is pointed to the huge revolving brushes over the treadmill. Hours of operation posted on the door sometimes mean little as the workers get paid only if there is work. The management does not like to pay for work if there is rain or heavy snow...thats seems reasonable. The 2 minus points I find are a lousy inside windshield cleaning and fairly high prices. I have solved these by asking to NOT have the inside windows cleaned and only coming to the place with a coupon....a plus. This too may develop into another minus as the previous manager/son placed coupons in several newspapers and mailed flyers. Very few of these have appeared in the last months since the management change.

You dont expect that a simple trip to the car wash would turn out sooo badly, but that is exactly what happened when I went. I went to this car wash, and informed them that I crap from driving through a construction site all around the bottom of my car. I told them that I had to use a rag and scrub almost each spot to get it off and that I wanted to know if they could get it off for me. They informed me that their wash would indeed get it off. I specifically remember speaking with the owner, whose name was Mike. I remember, because he was fairly rude, and seemed as if he had more important things to do then to speak with me, even though I was the only person at the wash at the time. After going through the wash, and examining my car it seemed as if I had not gone to a car wash at all. When I attempted to speak with Mike about this, he simply walked away!!! I asked to speak with someone, and a very nice and very helpful man named Max came to talk to me. Max is the manager of the place, and told me to pull back around and go through again, and he personally would ensure that it gets done right. When Mike the manager, saw that I went through again, he charged my car telling Max that I better get charged for 2 washes. When I told him I didnt think that was fair, he said to "shut my mouth before he calls the cops on me"!!!! Are you kidding me? This was awkward, rude, horrible, and very unsettling. And when all was said and done, the wash wasnt even that good! Go somewhere else!!!

I was really looking forward to giving Premier a try, since I had heard about them on Mom mail and was planning to use my mom mail discount. I pulled in to the carwash at 5:40 on Wednesday evening. The sign on the door says that they are open until 7 p.m. There were 3 guys standing around and all the lights were on. One of the guys came out to tell me that they were closed. I asked him why the sign said that they were open until 7, and he said that those were the "summer" hours. It seems odd to me that the summer hours would still be posted in November. Additionally, I get my car washed more often in the winter than I do in the summer because of all the salt, dont most people? I left and went down the street to the Randolph and Harlem car wash were the hours posted are the hours they are actually open.

I brought my wifes car 2006 Audi and my 2006 honda ridgeline in May. When the cars returned, the radio was on a spanish station (neither of us speak the lingo) and the radio tuning knob on the audi was missing. After I brought this to the owner, Mikes attention he accused me of being racist and not liking Mexicans. Mike blamed Audi for bad craftsmanship. My folding back seats no longer worked and my rear seat floor mat retaining clip was broken off when the floor was shampooed. This was the second time we brought our cars to Premier Car wash, even though the first time they pulled out my rear floor mat retaining clip. Mike even asked why we returned to Premier Car Wash after they damaged our car the first time. We try to support local businesses, but I guess we were wrong about Mike and Premier Car Wash.

Had a great experience! If you go to this location, go on Friday because the manager, Keith, is fantastic (call to make sure hes there for here or Arlington Heights). He defines a great manager. We had a conversation going and he decided to do extra things, such as detailing the inside of my car, to my car for the same price. All of the cars departing from this car wash were sparkling. I wouldnt write such a long review if I wasnt overly impressed. Id ignore the other negative reviews because this place is truly great. Only thing is if you decide to go, schedule an appointment (especially on Friday) because it becomes very very busy. Got so many upgrades for free. Best car wash ever!

Just got my vehicle washed at the time of this review. Terrible service, the staff is so disjointed and dont communicate whats been done and what needs to be done. My Equinox truck was left with smudgy windows, dirt on the bottom of the rear bumper, and they didnt even touch the tailgate after I explicitly asked them to and they told me they had. I got The Works package for $28 and honestly it wasnt even worth $10. Will never go back, which is a shame because it is close to home and Ive heard it is under new and better management. I can only imagine how bad it was before. Would not recommend.

I was a regular for about a year but I dont think Ill be coming back here. I paid $22 for the worst wash yet. They barely vacuumed the inside, they didnt wipe down the center console at all. I have rubber floors (not carpet), which they didnt bother to vacuum or wipe down. Waste of money and a waste of time considering I had to redo it when I got home. The only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the guys at the check out counter are always pleasant. Customers shouldnt have to fight for a decent wash.
