paid almost $200 to have my Sony 60 inch TV shipped from my home to my sons in Houston, TX using the original box it came in, packed by professional TV installers. It was less than a year old and rarely used. The driver Tope O picked it up and didnt secure it in his truck (my son mentioned that to the driver but he iginored him) and when he drove around the corner it had to have toppled over. TV arrived in Texas damaged box and TV. Even the Styrofoam packing was in pieces. Bottom line, even though I had insured it, I was told it was my fault because I didnt pack it according to their guidelines, and I wouldnt be compensated. I contested their decision because it wasnt obvious that I should have done something special. The guidelines are difficult to find. I did various searches to check (after the fact) including shipping TVs, with zero hits. the [?] information popups mentioned tubes and envelope . . and if you used your own packaging you needed to enter the demisions for it. That would have been a great place to tell me I should refer to the packaging guidelines. There was nothing to lead me to believe the box Sony used for the TV was not adequate. I deputed the claim denial and the lady I spoke to said someone would contact me with the decision by the next day (Tuesday). I called today (Thursday) because no one called me. I was told they looked at the pictures.. (pictures from my sons cell phone instead of ones they could have taken of it when they inspected the TV at their facility) and said, again, I should have packed it better. Oh and they charged me another $90 plus to ship the damaged TV back to me. So I paid UPS almost $300 to break an almost new TV. But they apologized.

So I had a package that suppose to originally get delivered to my apartment but had to work so I was not going to be able to sign for it. I change the delivery for the package to be sent to the UPS store in South Holland. I changed the date on Thursday the 19th cause it was coming on the Friday the 20th. My package should have made it to the UPS store in South Holland on Saturday no later than Monday. Here it is Tuesday at 6pm and my package is in limbo. I called UPS in Harvey to see why my package says Destination Scan on the 23rd and there is no Departure Scan but yet it says in Transit. The first time I called the phone just rang numerous of times. I hung up and called again and a lady answered, not in a very polite and professional way at that. I told her my situation and gave her the tracking number. She immediately told me to call the 1-800 number. So I called the 1-800 number and got better information. Just to find out that the UPS store in South Holland, IL did not accept my package cause they were full, so my package was sent back to UPS in Harvey and has been there since Friday. NOW, this was the reason why I called UPS in Harvey to see if my package was there and if so I would have came to get it since they did not close until another hour. If the lady at the UPS in Harvey took the time to listen and gathered my information would have found out the my package is there instead of quickly getting me off the phone.

My experience with UPS in HARVEY, IL is so frustrating. My package was due to be delivered 12/2/16 but it has been changed 4 times already. When I called and spoke with a suppose to be supervisor she was very rude, she told me they are short of help, and basically theres no telling when I will be receiving my package. I called the company I ordered my product from and let them know if they continue to go through UPS I will have to take my business somewhere else. I refuse to deal with UPS in Harvey IL ever again. They have very bad customer service. So I will wait until the 13th and if I dont get the items I ordered the company will refund my money. I refuse to go and pick up when they NEVER attempted to DELIVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I had to give it 1 star in order for it to post...But UPS in HARVEY IL deserves NO STARS!!!

Today I was expecting to receive 3 packages from UPS. However, all I received was 2. Before I could get to the door, the driver left my packages at my front door and was pulling off. Then I received an email saying that 3 packages were delivered. I immediately called the office in Harvey. The representative argued with me saying there was nothing she could do because the driver said he delivered the package and for me to call the shipper and go from there. Then the IGNORANT lady hung up on me. WOW!!!!! Really? I have never experienced such rudeness before. Im definitely going to call the corporate office in the morning and I will back it up with a letter in writing. I wish I had her name because I would definitely put her name in my letter.

Frustrating.....paid for 1 day delivery of a check. Tracking details out for delivery yesterday. Stayed home dressed all day awaiting delivery to take check to the bank. Update at 6:59pm stating delivery attempt...oh no...been looking for the driver all day. I immediately called customer service and was told the supervisor at the Harvey location would contact me in the morning. She did call me promptly at 9am. I explained to her that the driver lied and did not attempt delivery. She assured me a different driver already had the envelope on his truck but unfortunately she could not give me an estimated time. I would think Id be the first stop...long story short, got the delivery at 1:45pm....wont have anything delivered through here ever again!!!

UPS stole my merchandise, and then lied stating that they left it in my hallway. I called the company and explained what happened, and my merchandise was replaced. I tracked the package from the day it shipped and the UPS driver stated that they made two attempts to deliver my package. I was home during each time they said that they attempted and my doorbell never rang! These are a bunch of trifling thieves that work for this company, I will never use this facility again. 2nd complaint. Ordered a package and learned after the fact that they ship UPS. Robert Jacobs UPS driver, got me again. Stole my package and said he delivered it to my front door. Spoke with the Supervsior who basically brushed it off. This place is unbelievable!

The only reason they are getting 1 star is because I couldnt post my review without it. The service at this location is HORRIBLE and the manager is even worse. They do not care about the customers merchandise being delivered at all. The driver delivered my package to the wrong address and when I inquired about it they acted like they didnt care. Oh, but wait, theres more....THE IDIOT DELIVERED MY PACKAGE TO AN ABANDONED HOUSE!!! I will never deal with them again if I can help it. I thought reading was a requirement for the job, but apparently not. How can you mistake a 0 for 1? I think it was too close to the time he was getting off of work and he just dropped it anywhere so he can get off. SMH! Piss poor service!
