I came to West Hill after reading many good reviews and being recommended by a co-worker. I have a 1984 50th Anniversary 300zx. This car means a lot to me and I was trying to get it partially restored. I wanted a shop that had a lot of experience. I wish I had never come here. I talked to John and he made me feel like they knew what they were doing. He spoke of doing things right and well. Initially I had them re-seal rear quarter windows, tail lights, and side markers. I also had them repair rust in trunk and under rear bumper. First they were unable to properly get my windows in right. They scratched the tint very badly on one side. He kept saying over and over again he was going to fix them(but he never did). He fixed one side later but then would not fix the other side. He just blamed it on it is "an old car". The rust repair was of very poor quality. The repainting of said areas had poor coverage and was very rough. They repaired rust damage around trunk top and managed to hack out a chunk of metal along the trunk rim. It is covered by the weather seal so they just left it. When I asked if they would do something about it, they would not. I guess they thought I would not see it. LOL. When the car was returned to me the first time it was FILTHY! There was grinded rust everywhere! They also attempted to repair rust underneath rear bumper with also poor results. I have primer over spray all over my side skirts. The bottoms of the fenders they painted with a paint brush and it looks horrible. Again I dont think they thought I would look under the bumper. When I looked right in front of my face was a surface that clearly still had corrosion that they supposedly fixed. When I showed them this he started trying to say that he had only said he would repair corrosion head on viewing the rear of the car not under it. Sounds crazy right? I asked him why if I paid for them to do that area they had not. Again he began answering in circles. Quite possibly the worst part though, was when I returned it to them the first time. An hour after dropping it off to them, I received a call from them saying that my car had been hit in their parking lot. Wow. That is all I can say. So they hit my car and it needed a new bumper cover. The Anniversary paint is very special. I asked them if they knew that they could replicate it and they said they could. Basically they kept my car for over a month, and the job is horrible that they did again. They couldnt get the line of paint level, the pin stripes were off level, the paint is very bad, there are many spots where it looks like they tried to sand it but left crazy scrapes in the paint. They also tried to repair my front fender bottoms. They left primer on the edges where they didnt cover with the paint. When I asked them to fix the fenders they told me a different story than what they gave me back. They said they were going to weld new metal and then make it look like new on one side. The other they said they were going to grind it and fill with fiber glass to make it thicker. None of this was done. They grinded the metal and then epoxyed a piece of metal onto the back of the fender. WOW! My car also has many new dents in my driver door as well as other places it did not before I gave it to them. The amount of money givin to this shop did not in any way reflect the work that was given back to me. This shop falsely represents it abilities. If you have a car that is important to you, then stay away from here. I gave my car back to them 3 different time due to poor workmanship. After the third time of returning it, I knew they were incapable of doing auto body repair work. This place has no eye for detail, which makes no sense if you are trying to repair peoples loved cars. I would give 0 stars if I could. Each time I returned the car to them, they kept saying " we cant believe the things you notice". Sounds like a great place huh?

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. Friendly service terrible mechanics. I have a Dodge Stratus and I took it to West Hill because of the weird noises and screeches I continued to hear from my front end. This noise never happened before and it got worse and worse. On Friday, I scheduled to bring my car to them on Monday. I took my car to West hill on Monday, (the week of Thanksgiving) but only for a check up. The check up took them five hours to do with my appointment. I had to continuously call in about my car before they closed at 5. It was at 3:45pm when I finally reached them and they explained that there was absolutely nothing major or dangerously wrong with my car and that the only minor issue was my motor mount. 4 days later on Black Friday my wheel popped out it happened to be my upper and lower ball joint that needed replacement. I will never go back to West Hill again. They did a sloppy inspection, and was careless. Ive done business with them once before and this was my second time. Both times they were in a rush to do everything. Being it was a holiday week it made things worse and it seem like they were not focused on my needs and my car but on getting off of work. Do not go to them unless you need minor work done. I have other issues with them as well but this was a major one.

I took my car there in April, and of the 4 problems I was having, they decided to only address two of them after keeping my car for three days. The major problem was the leaking coolant and they said it was because the radiator needed to be replaced, which they were suppose to have done. After picking my car up and driving about 2 mile the same warning lights came on that I had just paid over $1050 to be fixed. Called them and they gave me a canned excuse about the car being old and something else might be wrong with it. Took it back in and had to pay $140 for them to fix one of the other original problems they neglected to address. Guess what happened three weeks later...my car is STILL leaking coolant. Now I have to take the car back in after paying $1190, driving several hours roundtrip, and paying Ubers to get around. West-Hill use to do good work but now they are a huge waste of money and time, which is very frustrating.

I have been taking my cars to West-Hill from 20 years. The are the most professional group of auto people I have ever met From taking the time to explain the process of repairs with Insurance Adjustors to what is actually wrong with my cars, they are pain stakingly exact and detailed oriented. These are people who honor their word, I can think of no better people in the Auto repair business or any business than the Esposito Brothers. My children now have there own families and they do business at West-Hill. You cant bet there service and there upfront fair price. RichN
