Invest in the extra vacuum service!!!! This review comes with a story, 5 stars for the way my problem was handled by the owner. He did go above and beyond to make me happy. Im a local, I live/work and play in HG, so instead of driving to the city to my usual place, I tried this place instead. The workers are not useless, the person who said that is rude. The prices are posted as you pull in, I didnt read it all so I missed a few things. My car is messy, I have a yellow lab and she sheds. I didnt think of investing in the extra vacuum service, which I should have. Also I thought the center console was the same as a steering column(its not, here at least). When they finished, the outside looked great. The rims were clean, the windows were streak free, the car was dried nicely(I watched the guy he took his time)and the dashboard was dust free. I was disappointed with the rest of the interior, but I drove away anyways. I thought about it and called to talk to the owner, not wanting to go back. He convinced me to come back, explained what went wrong, and recleaned my car to the point where it exceeded expections. Customer for life. :) thank you!!!

This place is fantastic, but you have to understand what you’re getting. The reason some people complain is that they come to a place like this once a year and expect a complete detail for $12. I’d bet that the complaints here are from people that are here because it’s winter and they can’t wash it in the driveway. Be realistic and compare what you get here to any other ‘service’ (haircut, etc.). Where else does any business invest that much and charge so little? If you get a Full Service car wash at Softway every week or so, your car will always look great and you’ll be happy. If you wash it yourself all year, or go to a gas station wash mostly, and then expect this place to detail your car for $12, you won’t be a happy camper. Be fair and be honest in your reviews. Softway Car Wash is an absolute bargain and we’re lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

Just used the self serve car wash on 159th and Bell and spent $11 to wash my own car. No instructions, no warning about time remaining and my car was left soapy because I ran out of time. I had to go next door to shell to pull out $20 + $3.50 ATM fee to complete my wash. I spoke with an employee to ask about getting a refund for the bad service (a refund which I would have used here to wash my car) and he refused because apparently the digital timer was functioning. I work down the street and wash my car 3 times/week. Unfortunately, Homer Glen Softwash has lost my business permanently due to poor customer service and inadequate instructions. If their credit card swipers worked, this problem wouldnt have occurred!

The back of the minivan wasnt wiped down, they put the mats on my passenger seat so it was covered in salt and dirt and they didnt even clean all the mats. We paid for the $18.99 service. The dashboard wasnt even wiped down & the windshield was smeared. When I asked the man that cleaned our car to please wipe the trunk he gave me a dirty look and a single swipe. He didnt even stick around long enough for me to ask him to wipe down the dash. We drove out of our way to go here...that wont happen again. This was their second chance.

Took the car there for a wash. The man who put it through unscrewed the antenna, and when he put it back on stripped the antenna, rendering it useless. The manager, Paul Ktenes, came out and tried to get it on. He told us that he wouldnt do anything because "its an old car" (its seven years old) even though we saw the man break it. We will be using a different car wash place from now on. Perhaps if youd prefer actual customer service you should, too.

This place is a mess.Been there twice. i always i think its worth to give a second chance.I also think if u live in HG u should use yr home town services but hell aint gonna happened anymore.My 3 years old soon can clean better my truck.1 star cuz i cant give them zero/

One of the worst car wash experiences Ive ever had!!! Paid $18.00 for a wash that didnt even clean my car for Jack s***!! I paid $3.00 extra for a rim cleaner and my rims where still dirty!! I wont be going back there for a wash!! Overpriced for nothing!!!!!

The worst in the area. There was dust all of the dash.you would think theyll at least clean the most visible area. Not worth any money. They all suck there
