I used custom classics recently to have repair work done to my 1969 Roadrunner which was in a collision this summer. These guys did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have work done on their classic car, muscle car, hot rod, restomod, etc. A couple of key points which I want to highlight: 1. I found this shop to be completely transparent with the work that they do, how they charge for work and their overall integrity. 2. I found the owner Bryan to be very responsive and helpful. He ALWAYS returned my phone calls within 24 hours and most importantly set my expectations by never over promising anything. 3. The work that was performed was amazing and the body repair was flawless. I should also mentioned that these guys helped me choose and implement some suspension upgrades in the process and that work turned out great too. I will say they are definitely not the cheapest solution in the Chicago area but I found that I got what I paid for. If you are very discriminating about how your car is worked on (as most people who own hot rods/classics etc. are) these guys truly are good. Finally, I want to say that I had a pleasant interaction with all of the staff when I would call, everyone was helpful and very polite. I find it hard to believe the two rogue reviews here that the owner was not helpful or rude as that was not what I experienced nor was it the feedback I got from my father who dealt with them, or the people who referred me to this shop. ****Update So I have now used this shop on three different occasions and the results continue to be consistently excellent. The communication is clear and concise, the quality of the work is top notch, and I find the shop to be extremely honest in their dealings. Thumbs up!!

Stay away from this shop! Had my Chrysler 300 SRT8 in there shop recently because it was involved in a collision and everything went smoothly initially, they seemed to be polite and work was being completed on schedule. I picked up my car, it wasnt perfect but it was hit a tricky spot to fix so I didnt make a big deal about it. Couple weeks after completion of the work, and maybe a 100 miles put on my car I started to notice a clunking coming from the rear of the car were the work was completed so I immediately contacted the shop to notify the owner of the problem. He was very rude from the get go, but told me to bring the car back as I did. I get to the shop and the owner takes a look at my car personally and immediately gets very defensive that it had to be coincidence that I was having problems with car where they had done the work in the rear of my vehicle(rear bumper sounded like it was going to fall off). He reluctantly took the 10 min to stabilize it and continued to say it was coincidence or something I had done my self. They dont stand behind there work and unless your bringing a classic show car and are spending some serious money they will treat you like a second class citizen. They are great salesman and can really play of the role of being sincere and caring about there customer, but as soon as they got paid it all changed. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with, extremely disappointed. I will be in contact with the BBB and my insurance company to notify them of Custom Classic quality control and lack of customer service.

I looked everywhere to have someone work on my SRT8 charger which it had issues with the lambo and suicide doors on the car. Seemed like there was no one to help and didnt know how to work on them. I found Custom Classics and the owner Bryan assured me that they could get the doors back in its orginial condition. The service Tech Tim was very informative and did an awesome job with the doors! It nice to know there is a auto body and restoration shop that isnt afraid to take on a project! Thanks again Bryan, Larry and Tim!!!

I first visited Custom Classics to have my Bentley Flying Spur repaired. The work was fantastic and I am a persnickety perfectionist about my cars. Custom Classics has done several other projects for me and the work has always been world class. Not only are they exceptional their sense of customer service is superb. Forget your dealership. Use Custom Classics. In addition, it is worth the drive to Island Lake just to see their latest project cars. These guys really love cars and their work shows it!

I brought in my sons car after we had shopped a number of other places. The estimation process was great in they took lots of time in explaining what repairs were needed. They were also very open and flexible in discussing repair options, especially since we were trying to save money on this relatively old car. The repair results were wonderful and I would highly recommend this shop.

This was my second time at Custom Classics. I would recommend them any time! I brought my black 87 Buick Grand National in for restoration and it was impressive. The attention to detail necessary to restore black paint is immense. I know what to look for (and am extremely particular) and am more than satisfied with their work. I recommend Custom Classics for any type of work. -Diane

Took my 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis to Custom Classic after a front end fender bender, because of prior experience with there shop. As always great work. Insurance adjuster said they would probably not do the the work competitively, but as always they did, to my satisfaction . The adjuster said he had a good experience with them. Trust me you cant go wrong with this business. .

Have been dealing with these guys for years. My father takes all his personal/business vehicles c/classics sine late 90s. Been in a few accidents and love the work they do. Great results and honest prices. May be a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Theyve been in business for awhile for a reason. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Bryan and Larry provided excellent customer service throughout my experience. Pricing was reasonable and the repairs to my Chrysler were perfect, including the paint match. They are body work masters with an amazing attention to detail. Highly recommended and I wouldnt trust anyone else with my vehicles.

They did a great job on my G8 GT, I was worried about the metallic blue paint matching when they refinished the doors. The only issue is the doors have a better finish than the factory paint/clear coat. Great place, I will be back if ever needed and will recommend without hesitation.
