By Sandra E. Lewis - September 24, 2010 Heres the logic (if I might be so generous). I submitted a change of address from my PO Box number and additionally from the residential address at that time around mid-August. It is now mid-September. I have not received one piece of rerouted POB mail! An employee looked me up on a "computer" and told me that no change of address for the PO Box had been provided. There only was a record of my turning in the keys. I turned in the keys on or about September 1st -- two weeks later after I submitted the change of address. Wow, they must be the original cast from "The Patron Saints Of Confusion". Tell me, please how they fenagled this one! My mail could not be found and I was told I should call back in the morning to see what "he" did with the mail. TOO MANY BIG SHOTS WHO OPERATE IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS AND NO BACK-UP EMPLOYEES. I know I have a stack of mail because I had a busy mailbox. By the way the reviewer who commented that the employees greet you in line to manage your needs has it all wrong. That is not an everyday deed and it is done when the supervisor has a busy customer service area and he has the time. (Must have been written by a postal employee over there.) On a few occasions I had to ask for expected packages because no yellow notice card was put in my mailbox. That "deal with it morons" comment made by Nate Perry is pretty much my perception of who THEY are. Airtight, right? They deal with the small stuff and cannot even do it. I would love to see em in a busy law firm reading and interpreting contracts. They probably would develop anxiety attacks and disappear forever over the lunch hour. Some people simply do not know how lucky they are -- and still cant do it right.

This is by far the worst post office Ive ever been to. The Supervisor (the fat crabby guy) is always rude and doesnt appear to do anything, even when there is a long line of people. Everyone seems to hate their job, and I dont blame them having to work for that POS. Mark is the only one Ive ever gotten good service from. The other day I brought in 4 packages of which two needed to be taped. I was at the counter mailing two packages and buying tape for the other two. I mailed the first two no problem and gave the tape to my wife to finish the other two. This is where the culture of this place reared its ugly head. Apparently from the time I stepped to the counter and the time I gave my wife the tape, they had closed! They refused to mail my other two packages because they were now closed! I asked why they couldnt take two more packages and was promptly told 4:30 is 4:30 and they are now closed. WTF!? Not any one of the three people at the counter even remotely wanted to help and ALL got attitude with me. Unbelievably bad attitudes and service at this place. They need to fiore everyone, including management and start over.

The women there are are very nice but the man that is usually there? Total jerk - very rude, always mocking customers. Several of my packages have gone missing and anytime I went in to inquire, he told me "its not that big of a deal". He acts like checking on anything is the biggest waste of time and a huge put out for him. Its disgusting. I have always been treated poorly and my husband has, as well. If you hate your job, Im sorry, I truly am - but it is what is giving you a paycheck so you need to do the job required. Please learn some customer service skills, you always make me feel lower than dirt when I go in there. I will amend though, to be fair, that when I have called to inquire about missing packages, they were very helpful. It seems that calling would be the way to go when dealing with this post office. Our usual delivery man is fantastic!

It is unfortunate that we have such a horrible post office in our town. For the second time now in 6 months a package was suppose to be delivered and the tracking details said "out for delivery" but then the tracking details on the website say that it was unable to deliver. There was no notice on my door and I have been home the entire day. And I live in a house with a front door...just our same old lazy mailman who ran out of time and decided not to deliver our mail. At least once or twice a week we do not get any mail at all and then the following day our mailbox always has twice as much mail. I guess this repeated situation sums up why USPS should just go out of business and let UPS and FedEx handle all of our mail. At least then they wouldnt be wasting our tax dollars.

They have one of the delivery people who are extreamly lazy. I cant stress enough how offten I will be home but delivery woman never bothers to bring the order to me, she just leaves it in the apartment office. Apartment office didnt pay for delivery, apartment office didnt ordered it. I did !!! I am really at the point where Im going to call in about this. Just today I am at home waitting for my package, all of a sudden my amazon app says that it was left at apartment office. She never tried to bring it to me !!! Once again 4 packages that says it was delivered on amazon, but I have no idea where they are . I have no nite left by the door, nothing. Where are my packages !! I was home all day !!! Tracking says it was delivered to me, but it never was !!!

If I could rate this with a 0 I would. I have been waiting on my package to arrive at my house for almost a week now and it still has not been delivered even though when I checked the tracking for the package it says that its in Lisle. Yesterday my package was supposed to be out for delivery but there have been no further updates and it clearly has not made it to me. I call the post office and they were absolutely no help, they had me on hold for 15 minutes just to say that theyre having technical difficulties and will have to call me back. Never got a call back and my package is still MIA. I am getting really ticked off and there is just nothing good to say about this post office, they have terrible service.

I moved to Lisle about 6 months ago and since then I have been disappointed with this post office. When my new box of checks did not arrive for a few weeks, I called the post office and sure enough they had it. They just did not bother to leave a note in my mailbox. Before that I only came to know that a box was waiting for me because I bothered to check the tracking information. Recently I could get a delivery only because I was waiting for it. The postlady had left no note nor was she carrying the package she was supposed to deliver, but after I approached her she retreived it from her truck! Besides that the deliveries are usually atleast a day late too...
