Ed Adomaitis ( mgr ) made this the worst experience ever! Only the drivers side soap dispenser wasnt working for the initial stage. That means that your car goes to next stage ( flap washers ) dry and at the very least with no soap on your car. That is the absolute worst thing you can do to your paint short of keying it! I went to the front to ask the cashier if they knew that only the driver side of the car was getting soap. The manager Ed Adomaitis was talking to a friend and jumped in without introducing himself from about 15ft away in a busy lobby. He yelled ( in a very rude manner ) "Yeah, the first archway is broken, so only your end gets soaped. It is only for show anyways, and the equipment has soap on it so your fine" I asked "its only for show? The SOAP at a car wash is only for show?" Also Am I supposed to rely on the previous 100s of cars dirty leftover soap to wash my car and not scratch it all to hell? Im supposed to be ok with the soap not getting my passenger side at all in a Carwash? I then asked " am I supposed to pay full price for half the car to be washed...Ed Adomaitis interrupted saying yes you ARE GONNA PAY for a full wash because the equipment has soap on it!" I mentioned that he was being very rude and the lady behind me ( Maria ) agreed out loud that he had a very aggressive tone with me instead of apologizing since I wasnt the one that was wrong. He responded " thats right" I said that I wanted to point out that he has horrible manager skills and he should not be talking to me like that, but actually apologizing as he still had not done. He was again aggressive and rude saying "yup" and started talking to his friend as if it was ok to treat me like that. I asked the cashier for the owners number and he again interrupted with his card. Another lady that was waiting in the lobby asked if Id ever been there before and I said a few times. We Both agreed that we would never come there again. She did mention a place across that street that was good and they were nice. I called the number and the phone at his desk started ringing. I said " I didnt wanna talk to you sir, I asked for your boss! you know what Im asking for." He pointed to a customer service line on the wall that led me to a voicemail. In my opinion, this guy should be fired! There was no provocation for him to act the way he acted. What kind of manager treats a customer like that? I mentioned that he needed better manners when dealing with a customer. He was very RUDE AND DISMISSIVE! I dont expect red carpet treatment, but I do expect to be treated with respect especially when Im paying and youre obviously in the wrong. I will follow up with the owners and see if they make this right. Platinum Carwash needs to have a stern talk with Ed Adomaitis if they plan on sticking around. Plenty of places that appreciate your money in this economy!

DONT GO HERE. DONT GO HERE. DONT GO HERE. Wish I could give this a lower rating than 1/5. Just took my 16 maxima to this place for its first car wash. Absolutely infuriated with the scratches their machine or personnel caused on my metallic paint. Called the owner (ED) after I had gotten home and he said to come back to take a look at it. Went back and all this joke of a man had to say was "wheres the damage?" When I showed him a ding on the back bumper of my car that had took off the paint as well. Oh and as for people like us who post reviews regarding his petty to none human interaction skills, he considered us "those kind of people who give our car wash a bad name" when I pointed out I can see why youre place along with you is rated 1/5 or 2.5/5 or whatever the low pathetic number it is due to his nonexisting manhood. He took me through the process of their car wash and that still had no point to prove to me at that point. I take a very clear look at my vehicle before placing it in the hands of others. These were the damages 1)ding that scraped off the paint. 2) a scratch along the same side that thankfully didnt go till the last layer. 3) a 12 inch line scratch along the passenger side door panel. This little boy, Ed, has clearly shown time and time again of his lacking maturity levels as a manager and human being. As a manager, its your duty to assist the customer and understand situation that has happened. Not accuse the customer that this is your fault and the only thing you can do now is "call the police and file a police report." I told him right then and there this is the saddest yet surprising experience from a car wash business. Went back all the way to his little playground car wash only to receive a tour of his lavish process as well as an 800 number. This man has the IQ equivalent to a tree. Moral of the story? If you honestly care about your car, DONT GO HERE.

Platinum Car Wash in Morton Grove is the WORSE! 2/19 sunny day in Chicago. Brought my car to PCW. You exit the car, they vacuum the car and drive it into the wash. When my vehicle comes out my windshield wipers were ripped off. Ed Adomaitis the "manager" comes into the waiting room shouting "Whose Mercedes?" I stepped forward and he immediately starts yelling this is your fault you left your wipers on its not our fault." I asked him to take his voice down and said "My wipers were not on when I got out of my car. Your attendant vacuumed my car and drive my car into the car wash." He shouted its not "his" fault. I immediately went to the cashier and asked for the owner or corporate headquarters phone #. DO NOT PATRONIZE PLATINUM CAR WASH IN Morton Grove!

Worst car wash ever !!! the only thing they cleaned was the mats. Mrs ed management said the guys in the back should had vacuum the car .when I told him I saw the guy in the back do no vacuum he said I didnt pay for my car to be detail .and was intimidating. at the end of the car wash they where to vaccum again when I got to my car I found garbage water bottle cap and last there was dirt all over the car. it totally looks like they did nothing .also they didnt wipe the doors down after I paid 29.99 FYI bad service for this owners business by the way better business bureau will get the photos of how dirty my car was and I will file a complaint

If you believe that American business should have creatine standards of service, dont even bother to go there. They are overpriced and on the top of everything they dont do the job as one would expect for the money spent. I bought their Gold level 17$+ was given car with dirty floor mats and full of dirt and sand on the carpet. Paid extra 7$ for mats and double vacuum. Still my car was returned with sand on the seets and trunk. Outside wash- no complaints / automatic / with manual drying and window cleaning. For 24$+ I would expect to have my car shine and super clean inside out, if you have the same expectations dont go there.
