I paid $40 to Perfect Car Wash and then paid $860 to have another detail shop remove the agent/air freshener/chemicals that Perfect Car Wash saturated my car with...Went to Perfect Car Wash to have my van cleaned since I spilled vinegar and it smelled. Later that day I received the car, couldnt smell vinegar but the car had an intense scent of some cleaning agent/air freshener. It was so strong that I had a headache after 5 minutes inside the car. I didnt drive it and left the windows open for a week since my husband was not at home and I was able to drive his car. When my husband came back I checked the car and the strong scent was still in there. I called the owner Agustin and told him what happened. He arrange to have my car worked on first thing next day. As agreed I left the car overnight assuming they will work on it next day to remove whatever agent/chemical they put in. Arrived at 12:30 p.m. to find out that my car has not been moved from the parking lot. The guys there had no idea my car was there and it needed to be worked on. They told me Agustin did not tell them anything. Ok, so then they told me it will take 3 hours. 3 hours later the same scent was still there. When I touched the trunk with my hand I could feel the residue of soap on my hands. I decided to take the car to a detail shop and I left a review for Perfect Car Wash next morning. Agustin texted me 10 minutes after the review was posted and asked to give him a chance to clean it, he said he guarantees the smell will be gone. He claimed that he had given his guys instructions about what to do with my car when I brought it for a redo, but all the guys said he did not. At first I was reluctant to have them touch my car again. After learning that the detail shop would charge $550 to remove carpets and do a detail wash but would not guarantee that the smell will be removed I decided to give Agustin one more chance. I asked him what will he do. He said they will use water only to wash out the carpet in the back. I left the car at the shop. 2 days later it was ready for pickup. When I opened the door I couldnt believe the same smell, same intensity was still there. What exactly were they doing for 2 days with it? The carpet in the trunk was wet, under the carpet was wet, there was some white powder on the carpet, and the car still smelled of the strong chemical scent. When I sent the text message to Agustin letting him know that the car still has the intense scent, he said he was sorry I felt that way because neither him nor his wife could smell it. That really got me angry because the scent was not faint, not hard to detect, but rather overwhelming when you only opened the door without even getting in. My husband, my kids, a couple people from my work all agreed it was supper strong. I mean, there is absolutely no question, yet he tried to tell me there was no smell. Again, what were they doing for 2 days and what was the white powder that was left behind in the trunk?! I found a reputable detail shop that would charge me $650 to remove the carpets and do a complete steam detail. They guarantee the smell will be gone, so I left the car there. They will need to keep it for a week, meanwhile I had to rent a car. So lets see, the vinegar spill cost me $40 for Perfect Car Wash, $650 for detail job and $210 for car rental. That is the total of $900 I spent on Perfect Car Wash for a small vinegar spill cleanup. In one of Agustins texts he says: "We have worked so hard over the past 2 years to make the car wash as good as it has and someone comes along and erases all of that hard work.". Seriously?! I have a minivan, an initial investment of $35,000 which I cant drive for the fear of getting sick and getting my kids sick from the chemicals that can be smelled all over the car.

I was looking for a decent car wash place since i moved in the area and i gotta say, I love this place!! I went close to closing time on a Wed and I was the only one there. They give you a card they can stamp so after 9 or 10 washes you get the last one free. SERVICE: The service is great and very efficient. While someone cleans the outside theres someone inside cleaning the interior. They have a clean waiting area. WASH: Even for a basic wash they do a pretty good job. I would get into the car and the windshield is so spotless it looks like theres no windshield at all. It also smells great in the car too. The best part for me is they get it so clean that the car is clean even after it rains and Im fortunate enough to somehow wash the car the day before it rains so i know. I highly recommend this place. I only gave 4 stars because Ive only gone twice and im still a happy customer. I would go again.

I recently brought a 1995 black Jeep for a complete detail for my girlfriend, she does not take good care of her car so it was in quite rough shape as far as paint and interior. The Perfect Car Wash did an excellent job in bringing the car back to almost like new condition. I own The Finishing Touch, Inc which is a high end chrome plating shop, so I understand quality work and high detail work. I was very pleased with the results and would recommend having your car detailed at this facility.

Just got my car done there today. For a regular cleaning you pay less than the average charge in Chicago, and totally getting your moneys worth. I will surely be a returning customer. Of course you have to wait for them to clean your car but what else do you expect at a hand car wash.... Its roughly 15-20minute per vehicle. I almost always wash my car myself but I am happy with the quality of cleaning. Strongly recommend for anyone around Jefferson Park/ Norwood Park area.

Stopped by due to long line at my normal go to spot. Wash went fast! Lots of fast wash gadgets...soap dispensers, blowers, spray wax shooter. Efficient set up. 35 bucks for my SUV. Inside and out with spray wax and leather conditioning. Got all the nooks and crannies. Removed the mats and vacuumed with the mats out. Total time for all that...20 minutes! Very happy will return!

I used a groupon valued @$130 for a full interior & exterior wash & wax. They charged me an additional $40. to wash my seats( & did a poor job.) The wax job was left with un buffed off wax & swirl marks. To add insult to injury their website lists a complete detail for $99. They appear to be bogus, BEWARE

Worst ever!!! I went there because it was the 1st one i saw on my way home from work and it didnt have many cars. What a wrong decision it took me 45 minutes to get out of there plus they didnt do a good job. Never go back again.
