Prime will go above and beyond to get your dry cleaning done quickly. Many times I have dropped off a suit or shirts that needed to be done same day or the next morning. They are always able to get them done by the requested time for little or no extra cost. The prices are reasonable and they offer both dry cleaning and laundering. Please note if you opt for laundry service you will need to request that they do not mark up your clothes. Otherwise they may mark the inside of your shirts with marker to keep track of them during the cleaning process. I had this happen to me on my first visit here and was not happy to find marker on the inside of my white dress shirts. The owner apologized for the issue expanded that its commonly done on laundered items and not on dry cleaning. The owner was nice enuf to go back and dry clean the shirts at no charge and removed the marker. Moral of the story is opt for dry cleaning or make sure to ask for no markings on your garments if you opt to save money and have them laundered.

Prime One is the worst cleaners in Oak Park. They ruined my white pants for my rehearsal dinner. I dropped them off yesterday for alterations only, and told them do not press or clean - period. Despite my request, they pressed my pants anyways. In doing so, they left rust stains from their machine on every belt loop. They also left definitive creases down the middle, which I specifically asked them not to do. The right thing to do would have been for them to reimburse me for the cost of the pants. However, the owner refused to do so by claiming they had done no wrong. He also said… “you’ve wasted my time today”, “all you people are the same”, and “you are being unreasonable.”

I love this place. The owners are so friendly and Ive never had any issues whatsoever. My dad went to this place when I was a kid. Im 34 and have been taking my dry cleaning here for the last 10-12 years.

They cleaned to of my Blackhawks sweaters, very well and very quickly. The employees are very nice and the prices are fair.
